VR on RTX 3060 Laptop?

To be fair, I've never wanted RTX 3060, but I had a chance to get it very cheap (brand new, half of the regular price) 1,5 year ago, so I replaced my old amazing GTX 970 with it. The point is, 3060 has a problem with 21:9 2560x1080 resolution in new games and I feel like having a decent framerate will be a problem faster then I thought. The RTX 3060 is a good card for high/medium quality PC VR at a rather bargain price of $329 – if it can be purchased at this price – and the RTX 3060 Ti is a more solid offering for $70 more. The RTX 3070 is faster but it also costs $170 more at $499 and the RX 6800 costs $258 more and is also almost impossible to find. Furthermore, the 3060 is already unplayable in games that use more than 8GB of Vram (like 40-50 fps), and if you lower the settings to get more fps, it uses less Vram, which in turn makes the 4060 win again. And of course, the 4060 is more recent, uses way less power, and the 4060 has DLSS3 and Frame Generation. If it is infact 8x, or electrically even a 4x (very probably) then you're leaving performance on the table. Use gpu-z to confirm the link speed. If the bottom slot is at least x8, then you're mostly fine. You may lose a small amount of performance, but if your games are running fine, don't worry about it. My friend has a 450w PSU (the Corsair CV 450w) and has recently purchased a 3060 (the ASUS GeForce RTX 3060 12GB Phoenix V2 Ampere Graphics Card) and he wants to know if this will work with his PSU. He doesn’t plan to do any overclocking and the GPU only has 1 fan. It does state on the website that it requires a 650w PSU but someone told me ... The 3060 can certainly play games at 1440p, but not necessarily at the highest settings and 60 fps (let alone 100+ fps) in more demanding games. For reference, I game at 1440p on an RTX 2070 Super, which is marginally faster than the 3060 at 1440p according to the Techspot/HUB review of the 3060. I have it paired with a Ryzen 5 5600X and 16GB ... It's a poor suggestion vs the RTX 3060 for your use case scenario. Yes, the 3060 Ti is quite a bit more powerful than the vanilla 3060 (~25-30% increase), but the non-Ti variant having 50% more VRAM is going to be far more beneficial for machine-learning purposes. If your choices are exclusively the 4060 8GB or the 3060 12GB, go with the 3060. RTX 3060 Undervolt & Overclock advice. Hello, I'm completely new to the whole overclocking sphere. I have the Zotac RTX 3060 AMP White and Ryzen 5 3600, initially wanted to squeeze more out of GPU for cyberpunk then I decided on undervolt & overclock which I just benchmarked in 3DMark, I haven't touched the CPU overclocking at all, it does its ... Best OC settings for rtx3060. Anyone else has an rtx3060 overclocked stable,if so whats the best settings for gaming. I got max stable game performance at core +200 and memory +900 in afterburner. However, different models have a different boost clock so +200 on one may be equal to +220 on another model. Only you can test that not all cards are ... Another thing is, that new RTX 3060 with GDDR6X (bigger bandwidth) is coming - so it will depend on the second-hand market here, but I expect prices of "old" 3060 and others will go even more down than it's now and will think and compare - if will be ok to have two different cards - e.g. 3060+3070/80 or better go with same 3060 - with same gddr6.

So, I recently got gifted a sim racing kit. It's missing monitors until it's playable.
I have 3 options:

  1. 34" ultrawide
  2. 40"+ TV (probably the worst choice)
  3. VR
I'd rather get VR rather than 34" because I mostly do drifting, but I'm not sure if modded AC will be playable on my laptop with VR.
It's Rog Strix G17 (2021) with these specs: RTX 3060, AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX, 16GB DDR4
Anyone run it on similar system? Is it worth it?

I was JUST staffing ATC tower at EGLL, and I got overwhelmed by the incompetence of ground, approach and the pilots. They're all lined up for 27L (clearly RED as in DON'T USE) and inbound keeps sending them in for 09R. Then after everything is clear at 27L there are aircraft taxiing to 09L, 09R and 27R.
Why can't I decide which runways to use? Why can't I deny takeoff clearance and order aircraft to taxi to the other end of the runway that is clearly being used?
Sorry, I just got pissed off so much.

Idk. I set up a macro to play a sound clip for notifications and override DND/silent. And it worked. I no longer needed it and lazily uninstalled instead of disabling/deleting the macro from inside the app.
But it's still playing? I even deleted the sound clip I used. Still going.
