We left our cat alone for two nights. He has plenty of food and water, toys. The apartment is warm, lots of blankets, clothes with my sent. The radio is on. Clean litter box.
I turned on our camera and he's been walking around all night meowing. We have one more night, my husband said I shouldn't worry about it, he'll fall asleep during the day. I'm afraid we're being annoying to our neighbors, and I worry for our cat.
This is not the first time we've left him alone for two nights, so not sure what is going on.
If we leave him alone longer we have a sitter or board.
I think I need reassurance he'll be fine.

Hello, I have 2 weeks off in early May and my parents want me to visit them in Thailand. They are thinking of 3 locations: Ko Lang, Chiang Mai and Ko Samui. So like 9 days total or 3 days in each place.
It seems a bit rushed, but we also love fast travel and days full of activities. It will feel like a refreshment maybe after spending 4 months camping in the US.
In your opinion, is it worth it for this itinerary?

So my friend and I have a layover of a couple of hours at jaipur, from 7 am till 12-12.30 pm and we were looking at things to do in the city (cafe hopping is not preferred) in this short span of time. Any scenic fort that can be visited during the early hours or any market area that should not be missed while in jaipur or any restaurant. I'd be ready glad if someone could come up with a small itinerary and help us figure out what do in this short period of time that we'll have in our hands.

If alcoholism were just a physical allergy, like asthma or hay fever, it would be easy for us, by taking a skin test with alcohol, to find out whether or not we're alcoholics. But alcoholism is not just a physical allergy. It’s also a mental allergy or obsession. After we've become alcoholics, we can still tolerate alcohol physically for quite a while, although we suffer a little more after each binge and each time it takes a little longer to get over the hangovers. Do I realize that since I have become an alcoholic, I cannot tolerate alcohol at all?
Meditation for the Day
The world doesn't need super men or women, but super-natural people. People who will turn the self out of their lives and let Divine Power work through them. Let inspiration take the place of aspiration. Seek to grow spiritually rather than to acquire fame and riches. Our chief ambition should be to be used by God. The Divine Force is sufficient for all the spiritual work in the world. God only needs the instruments for His use. His instruments can remake the world.

2024.11.29 14:40 Sodiumflare 'Stalker' difficulty unbalanced?
This is one of those wait a month and see what changes come in patches situations. But do other people feel like parts of 'Stalker' difficulty is perfect - combat difficulty, but parts are far too easy?
I for one am hating how plentiful ammunition, medkits and bandages are. I have 70 medkits in my stash, I generally pick up 10 during each mission. Ammo is really easy to find and whilst bullet sponge mutants can chew through ammo quickly, I feel that's more me using the wrong ammo or wrong weapon most of the time.
I want to feel like every bullet counts, be forced to search high and low for supplies. Anyone else feel the same?
