Basically what the title says. I am currently near the end of my third playthrough of Cyberpunk, and as always I stuck with Johnny's Madalorian as my primary weapon. I tried out a few newer guns as well, like the Breakthrough and such.
However, I noticed I had more eddies than I could ever spend, so I started disassembling all the weapons I found rather than sell them, which meant I had tons of crafting components.
I dug around in my stash, and just for fun I decided to beef up the Dying Night. Holy Hell I was not expecting to have as much fun as I currently am. Especially since my build doesn't have a ton of Reflex perks for the mobility that would really make the weapon shine, it's still a blast for taking out mobs of basic enemies.
I still keep the Madalorian on me for boss fights and Pariah for stealth, but if I am up against a swarm of Maelstorm grunts, you better believe I'm just constantly running and gunning with that little pistol.
Having played the game at launch, the change to crafting and upgrades is definitely one of the best gameplay changes they made, since normally I just would have let that gun collect dust in my apartment. Since I still have tons of components, I'm looking forward to taking other random iconic weapons for a spin and see how they feel

Trying to remember an older android game that could maybe be considered a rhythm based puzzler. This was sometime in the 2010's I think. You would choose the difficulty and one finger would move your spaceship left and one would move it right along the circle maze. (I can't remember if you're actually moving the maze itself or the spaceship. You would be navigating trying to time the breaks in the lines to avoid crashing and this would be in sync with the background music. There would be pulses and beats to guide your movements and sometimes you'd have to hold left or right to spin to the other side of the maze to hit the only break. I think the music was licensed dubstep by a band and the feal was futuristic and the colors were neon based. Easy levels were pretty easy but I remember the harder levels being very difficult!

Ok, I just don't know how to put it... DANDADAN is not what I expected?
I mean, I was following the hype way before actual release - it was depicted as this suuuper wacky and weird manga with that craziness being the main selling point. I got excited, seemed like sthg right up my alley. I read a few chapters, seemed genuinely good but this is where the first surprise appeared - the most prominent feature for me was the art style and paneling (uuuuff that shot of Momo being pulled by the leg in Chapter 3....). I have not seen anything like it before.
But the story didn't pull me in as much so I just stalled and decided to wait for the anime.
And the anime came and I watch it weekly.
And what the actual F.
THIS IS A ROMANCE MANGA/ANIME. Not only that, IT'S ALSO A REGULAR SHOUNEN WITH MOST, IF NOT ALL GENERAL TROPES.
Yes, the blatant ecchiness and weirdness is there but it serves a completely different purpose - a very tasty flavor to the core experience of watching monster of the week battles and high-school romance shenaningans.
I was sooo sure it was quirky for the sake of being quirky and is just it's own thing (like Chainsaw Man I guess?).
Still at least 9/10 for me but I am so confused with it on every corner it blows my mind.
For manga readers - is it more of the anime thing and Science SARU just try to sell it to general audience better?

 | Yes, I am salty that the Endurance sold out within an hour at midnight. I am moreso disappointed that Shackleton's Lifeboat is already being sold on Ebay at over a third of the Endurance's price without another way to get it. I wrongly figured that Ernest Shackleton is a niche enough interest that a $350 (CAD) Lego set wouldn't sell out that fast. but it is discouraging that the Lifeboat has also been gobbled up to be resold for scalpers' profit. If it was for me I would be less upset, but this was meant to be an agreed-upon gift among family members for a Shackleton mega-fan. It would be nice if Lego allowed registered presale of popular sets to accounts with previous purchases over a reasonable threshold to mitigate this... or if they just didn't separate out an obviously popular element to an underproduced additional gift, which will soon be impossible to come by. Even waiting beyond Christmas would be doable, but it's gross to expose a limited-supply toy to "investors" who will financially exploit a shortage. I plan to write Lego to ask that they offer the Lifeboat to people who bought the Endurance; it is obviously disappointing that it disappeared in an hour! Anyway, I write this while waiting to hear back from people I know in cities with Lego stores. I genuinely hope those of you who got it for yourselves enjoy it. I mentioned in a prior post that my narcissist father in the 90s was angry that I was living out of a camper trailer. But not because I was using it for a home, but because I had a camper trailer. He'd wanted one for years, and just never got around to it. On top of his other faults, you can add extreme procrastinator to the list.
After I moved into my uncle's back yard with the trailer, my parents eventually found me. They forced their way in and stole my car keys, and then my car. That situation had to be resolved with police. They eventually started demanding I be their free driver again for when they went out drinking. And that didn't go over well either.
Eventually my mother showed up to gripe at me about something else. By then she was pretending to be over wanting my car. But it was pretty obvious she was not over it. On this particular day, she was mad at me because my father was ranting about my trailer. Apparently he was pissed that I could just take it anywhere I wanted. And my mother told me she wanted me to get an apartment or something, so my father would shut up about it. I told her no, I was getting way too good of a deal living out of the trailer. My uncle was hardly charging me anything, and I just had to do his yard work on top of the low amount of rent utilities I was paying. There's no way I'd give that up for an apartment.
When my parents got their hands on another Vista Cruiser, it could tow things like my Caprice could. The Cavalier my father stole from me couldn't tow anything, and the small orange 70s car my mother had used for a while wasn't made for towing either. So when they got another wagon, they got one with a tow hitch. And as soon as they had it, my father wanted to start towing things. And then he decided all of a sudden he wanted to take my trailer camping. And he treated it like an FYI at first.
My father, in his usual attitude, just showed up and bluntly told me he was gonna use my trailer to go camping. I refused, and then he tried to order me as his son to let him take my trailer camping during the summer. I told him no again. It was literally my home. And I know him, he'd try to park my trailer at his house and then never give it back. My father tried to give me his gorilla man act, and I met it head on. Basically two rednecks chest bumping. But I told him to his face that he was not getting my trailer, EVER! And to go out and buy his own. The trailer also had a title in my name, and I wouldn't hesitate to call police if he took it.
My old man as usual, called me ungrateful, tried gaslighting, and finally left. My uncle watched practically the whole thing from a window with popcorn. He loved any time he saw my father miserable, because my father was the golden child between them, and my uncle was treated horribly when he was growing up. So he was more entertained than anything else when he saw my old man having a tantrum over not getting his way.
My father went out and rented a camper trailer for a few days. And then suddenly he didn't like camping anymore. He only wanted to do it because I had a trailer. And it was pretty obvious he wanted to claim it for himself. He honestly believed that anything that was mine, was also his. And it took him several years to get it through his thick head that, that wasn't how things worked. And just about anything he ever borrowed from me after I moved out, I never got those things back. So I didn't trust him with anything.
I personally didn't feel the need to do any camping because I was already living out of a trailer. But I gave it a try when I became a parent myself. And it honestly wasn't that fun for us. My ex-wife especially hated it. But I wouldn't say she was what ruined the experience. I did take that trailer to a couple of family reunions though. That saved on motels. I was far from the only one in the family to do that though. And my parents demanded I let them sleep in my spare bunk for free during our mid 90s family reunion. I said hell no. And my parents were humiliated right out of that reunion anyway, because they doubled down over how I didn't hand over my second car to them, and my mother got slapped by a cousin for being a horrible parent.

Gentlefolk,
Last Saturday, I took a seminar on DNS, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization, and Kettlebells taught by a Strong First certified instructor. I was totally surprised by his added emphasis on adding a squat phase to a DNS braced swing. This is, of course, not covered in S&S, nor in any of the many Strong First and Wildman videos I've watched. As this instructor was part of the cult of "swing heavy or don't swing at all," I think the squat is added to enable a better drive with very heavy weights, >40 kg. Yet, this instructor taught this to many folks who were very new to kettlebells, such as members of an adult ballet class, whom are unlikely to ever swing more than 20 kg. Personally, I found it quite a change to my swing style and totally disrupting to my attempts to learn how to establish intra-abdominal pressure.
What do kettlebell folks think of this added squat?

No it's not a skill issue, no it's not a "get friends moment" I'm the only one in my country playing this game any longer, everyone I know has stopped. The game is unenjoyable now because randoms can almost never work together enough to beat a group and no the "rewarding" feeling of beating a group once in 5 matches is not enough anymore, it's just bad game balance and I'm done.
