Components I already have: * 4060 GPU * some 600W PSU * 3.5" HDD & 2.5" SSD
Components I intend to buy and am fairly sure about: * 265K(F) CPU - I know AMD has been doing better lately, but the X3D options seem overpriced right now, and I intend to do a fair bit of video / data processing, not just gaming, so the extra cores are welcome. * 2x32GB DDR5 RAM - I hear the extra frequency doesn't help that much? Maybe getting a 5.2GHz 36CL over a 4.8GHz 40CL is worth the extra 15€. I'll just pick one of the cheaper options when I buy. * Some H810 or B860 motherboard - Again, I understand paying more won't actually get me anything more at my low component count and no desire to OC or anything? Again, I'll just pick one of the cheaper options when I buy.
Components I intend to buy and have no clue about: * A CPU fan - I know it should fit the socket. I don't understand any other details on why some fan would be better than another. * A case - I know it needs to fit all my components. My current case is 42x18x43cm and has a lot of room left over. I can see cases start at 30€ here, but most online recommendations start at 80€ for something that looks far too fancy for my tastes. I'd really like something practical and cheaper. Any sort of non-functional lighting is a hard no. Aesthetics are unimportant - it's tucked away in a compartment below the desk - I can only see the front panel. The fans being quiet would be pretty nice (though I might have to buy them separately for that, idk), and considering the build seems low power, I feel anything with over 2 fans is too much?
tl;dr: Please recommend me a functional case and CPU fan for a total of <100€ (Estonia prices, so probably <$90 US prices). Alternatively or additionally, some guidelines on how to make the decision myself.

2024.11.29 14:50 jarman65 Do new contact brands get more comfortable the longer you wear them?
I’ve worn ACUVUE biweekly’s for years and trialed the 1 Day Max recently and both are very comfortable. With the Max, I forgot I was even wearing contacts but they’re so damn expensive. I also got trials of the Dailies Total One and have tried them a day here or there but they were much more noticeable than even my biweekly Oasys contacts.
Does it take multiple days for your eyes to adjust to a new lens/brand? Or if they’re not comfortable the first day can I expect that to be the case even after wearing them for awhile? Both times I’ve tried them I had to throw them out and go back to my 2 week Oasys.

I'm thinking about asking for a partial refund for this tattoo I got about a week ago. I do know she doesnt have to say yes. I'm so disappointed w how it turned out. The colors are uneven and the legs are different thicknesses and lengths and I've tried thinking of ways to fix it but it would just be slapping a bandaid on the issue and I've set up a consultation for removal. During the appointment I also got two little flower outlines and the dino w the heart and she said it would take 2 hours and would have everything ready to go when I arrived. But I waited for an hour for her to be ready and then it took an hour to get the stencils on and complete the tattoos. She charged me $200 and I tipped $40. She's done all my other tattoos and they're really detailed and nice and I just don't understand what happened. I included another tattoo she's done for reference
