So I've been with my friends the first time for two days, couple weeks ago. Loved it it was really nice , I researched so we went during the week and it wasn't super crowded (most time we spent waiting for rides was 1 hour the last day, yay) but I got a bit surprised that I saw no characters outside of the parade? Like at ALL.
I had this idea that there would be randomly apparitions of like classic Disney characters here and there in the park (Mickey Minnie Pluto etc) but maybe we got unlucky?
This didn't really take from the experience, it was still lovely and I will return in a couple years time( when the novelty has worn out for me) but am curious to find out if there is any time of the year when we see more characters walking around in Disneyland Paris or if this is mor of a US Disney parks thing ( as I see videos of it happening).

 | I bought a new canister filter about a month and a half ago. Installed it. It works great but ever since I put it in I get these little tiny white particles everywhere in my fish tank. When I bought the filter I rinsed and cleaned all the media two or three times before using it. I also hooked up my old canister filter that (fluval 207) was too small for my tank as a polisher and just some extra filtration. The new canister filter it's a five layer media and in the fluval 207 it's a three. I have filter floss in both. I have activated carbon in both. And I have a bag of puregen in the new canister filter. This is an African cichlid tank. I have been fish keeping these fish for years. Although I've had little particles in my tank before I've never had it to this extent. I do a 50 to 80% water change every week which clears it up quite a bit, but it jeeps comong back. My fish are calm and non-aggressive. My water parameters are spot on. My tank is cycled. I just don't know how to get rid of these little particles. Obviously being in the hobby, I want to achieve crystal clear water. If anybody knows or has experienced this issue before, I could really use a bit of guidance on this one.
