2024.11.29 14:30 OverCentralis Strange temperature performance on my new CPU.

So I just got a new motherboard, RAM, cpu (ryzen 7 7700) and cooler fitted into my old case.
I didn't install the parts myself because I'm close to exams and don't have time, so I had it sent through a friend to a shop. The shop is pretty reliable in terms of assembly and haven't given my any problems before.
I came home, got all the appropriate drivers and booted up Apex Legends. The CPU seems to idle at 46-60C and when gaming it goes up to 70-75C. It stays at this temperature during gaming too. I don't have PBO enabled, only have DOCP on for my RAM.
I thought this was pretty hot considering I was in the menu, but then I booted up at Cinebench 2024's multi-core test and it gave a solid score while sitting at 60-65C under 100% load. I did a little research and found people on subreddits claiming they're getting 70-75C with the stock cooler.
Am I just creating problems for myself or should I open up the cooler and check if there's something wrong?
