Mum has a corsa 17 plate 1.4 (sorry, know car models but not familiar with corsas or Vauxhalls in general) which I use for work now and then. Very low mileage for its age.
I work a fair distance away so on the motorway I like to use the cruise control. Works great. However, on my last journey I couldn’t get the cruise control to fully disengage. As you can see, the light on the dash is grey, which means it’s on (ready) but not set - that would be a green light. I can’t turn this off. From memory I used to click the button on the steering wheel which looked like the speedo with an ‘X’ through it and that would cancel the light out, but that isn’t working. I’ve tried the other buttons too but no luck.
I also thought turning off the engine, removing the key and leaving it a few days would do the trick but it’s still there when I turn the ignition. It doesn’t concern me too much, but my mum never uses the cruise control and it worries me a bit that she might accidentally engage it and not know what’s going on. Does anyone have any ideas or am I just being dumb?

Hi guys! I (F, 26) have a question about the CCR. My finances have been absolutely shocking the past 3 years and I’m finally starting to cop on to myself. I once missed a payment for a loan from BOI for 150 euro (I’m embarrassed even writing that) and I missed another payment of 300 euro for a credit unit loan. I’ve worked hard and paid off the BOI loan and I’m cleaning the credit union loan and building up my savings. I’d love to be in a position to apply for a mortgage in the next few years but I’m worried that the missed payments will affect that. On one of the letters about the missed repayments it said something like the bank had to tell the CCR about ‘credit facilities of 500 or more’? Does anyone have any information on this? Thank you x

I have a 36x18x18 tank with a water setup on the left and a terrestrial setup on the right, and I’m planning on planting all of it and was looking for a light recommendation. I am planning on putting my tiger salamander in the tank once it’s finished. They don’t have uvb needs so I was looking for a good led light that will grow the plants and show the natural colors of the plants. I was just in org and jumping around in someone’s fishing waters jumping around and yelling “Jump” over and over again. I then jumped off the fishing dock yelling “cannonball”. He was mad thinking I was scaring the fish. I then apologized but he then said I was reported.
I think he was joking. But then I started to think I shouldn’t be doing this as if I actually get reported I might get banned. And blizzard support sucks. Am I right to be worried?

Back in April I applied for the Disability Tax credit and got approved in August. It's now November 29th and I am still waiting to see what the reassessments going back to 2014 are.
Does anyone who got approved know how long it takes them to finish the reassessments?
I called the CRA and they told me to "be patient" and it takes time. But idk 3 months seems kinda excessive. I know it's 10 years but it still seems like a long time considering I started this process in April 2024.

My GTPE lease is coming to an end, I really like the car and want to keep it and drive it to the ground.
The car was in 2 minor low speed accidents in the first year, they were bumper and suspension damage, fixed to OEM quality and haven't had a problem since.
Pros of buying out my lease:
- Cheap ($29k, GTPE)
- No observed issues with the car
- Lower resale value due to accidents (although I want to keep it til it dies)
- Often has lower mileage
- I can get a newer model year (longer warranty)
- Costs $7-8k more (but spread over a few years, it's not really much)
- Potential issues with the car when I know mine has been running well

OK, I just finally caught up on the entire comic because I previous see it only made it to about episode 15.
The story is crazy good. It is definitely one of my favorite in the "possessed" category.
Normally they fill a bit predictable but I love the way this one plays out from the system to the missions to her using her knowledge to slowly adjust characters taglines and change the story.
Anybody else completely invested in this comic?
