Hello,
Not sure if this is the right place to post this. My 18 yr old daughter wants to go into policing which I am honestly not keen about. My ex was an officer and he got out of it for various reasons but mostly because of the work life and risks. She has some health issues (autoimmune and chronic migraines) and weighs 103 pounds. She is underweight. I feel the night shifts and the stress would be not ideal and I worry about her safety. I welcome any thoughts from those in policing. Are there jobs as an investigator where you do not have to be a street cop? Thanks in advance

Yo estoy pensando en irme, y de hacerlo me iría de ciudad también y de provincia.
Si me fuera, imagino que no van a querer regulariar la situación tampoco.

I've been thinking to get one with all the Black Friday sales but then I saw these YouTube videos about people hard wiring them and running cables through the door to get the rear camera setup. I'd really like to avoid that.
Can I just buy two cameras, plug one of them into the lighter in the front of the car and then plug the rear camera into the lighter in the back of my car? And will they start automatically when I start the car or do I have to crawl in the back and press some button every time?

I've been almost entirely homebound for about 17.5 years now, usually not bedbound although earlier this year I was bedbound for a few months. I'm in my late 30s.
I feel like there's so much normal life stuff that I don't know how to do. I can't remember how to drive and my license has expired. When credit cards changed I didn't know how to use the new chip ones and didn't learn until years later than everyone else.
I worry that even if I get better, I won't be able to adjust to being a functioning person.

Hi my car insurance is due to be renewed by mid of December. Currently I'm with admiral. Last time when I took car insurance I was on non-uk driving license but within a month I got my UK driving license and even after having a new UK license admiral didn't hike the rate for me. Unfortunately last month I got a SP30 conviction from driving 34 on 30. And admiral didn't hike my premium for that too. But now during renewal they have increased price crazly. And on compare the market also if I say that I'm on New UK driving license with SP30 it's showing me crazy rate. So I wanted to check is it possible that I buy insurance with my old license from other country and then change to UK license like I had to do last time. Because my license form other country has 10 years of driving history. Also can I declare about the conviction later. Moral police please stay away. I'm just try to save some bucks. Thanks 🙏
