She's very extroverted. It's been happening for a while now, and she does this only to me. Not too many times but enough for me to notice. I like her but I don't know how to proceed. If she really does this out of additional courtesy, she's really gonna feel awkward if I make a move. Like she does talk to me but it feels like she doesn't want to be there, wants to leave. I haven't ever initiated btw

Hello, looking for advice from experienced mechanics. My son (20) just started a new job at an auto repair shop. He had been previously working at a grocery store since he was 16. He's always fixed his own dirt bike and made small repairs on his truck, but now he landed his dream job of being able to work on cars for a living. He will soon be needing his own collection of tools for the shop, and I want to get him a starter set of and impact and sockets for Christmas this year.
I have done some quick research, and I'm seeing a few different brands and prices. I'm willing to spend a few hundred dollars on this, because I want him to have something durable, with a decent warranty and sockets that will hold up in the garage.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'm seeing everything from really cheap ones to Ingersoll Rand and Snap-On which can go up to around $700. Is it necessary to buy him something that expensive? Or is there a more middle of the road one that will be good for a few years until he can buy whatever he wants?
Let me know your experience with these things, I really appreciate any advice. Thanks and sorry this post was so long.

I just got a Steam deck yesterday, and I wanted to replay all the Arkham games, while the other tittles work fine, Arkham Asylum always gives me and error when loading after pressing play.
I searched online, used the protons but the results were either the same error or infinite loading, I AM on the verge of going up at this point.
Btw, I dont know how to use Linux, since all my life I have been using Windows.

We just got a new couch and the only option for spacing is to put it in front of this window in our living room. I have a very slim table inbetween the 2 separating them. The curtains up now are from the old set up.

I'm a psychonaut experienced with psychs, focused on harm reduction, responsible use and trying out new things. I've never had a negative body reaction to any psychedelic before and generally never had a 'bad trip'.
So 20 days ago I took ~12mg of Moxy orally, for the first time (trusted DN source). I know it can be considered a pretty high dose but I have a higher tolerance to tryptamines in general. I didn't mix it with anything nor was I on any meds.
The physiological reaction to it was TERRIBLE - to my huge surprise and disappointment. I had an agonizing vasoconstriction. It was so bad my balls went super retractile and my dick almost turned blue (it was the smallest I've seen it lol). I felt so much pressure in my entire body and my muscles were jerking and twitching all over the place. I eventually had to resort to killing the trip for the first time in my life.
After this unfortunate event, some of the muscle groups keep twitching non-stop, especially ones affected by neuropathy due to pinched nerves in my lower back. It is not painful, but extremely annoying and distracting. Also it worries me that it didn't go away almost 3 weeks after. I'm feeling more irritable as well and having increased anxiety levels ever since.
Has anybody had such a reaction to 5 substituted tryptamines? Any ideas on what the heck was/is that and what neurological mechanism could be involved in such a symptomatology?
I'm getting a bit concerned here and any thoughts will be appreciated. Thanks fellow riders!

I have wondered and googled this for years especially as I raised my kids through toddlerhood.
Weâre big on naming emotions but give never been able to give them a word for âyou were surprised by something that was disappointing or devastatingâ which is different and worse than âyou are disappointedâ or âyou are devastated.â
Shock is the closest I could think of but itâs not uniquely negatively charged.
So we used the term âyou were bad surprisedâ
They are all older now but, uh, recent events in the country made me think of it again.
Am I missing a good word?

In a bureaucratic Catch-22 situation. In order to confirm my bank details with a merchant, I was told that I need a Proof of Ownership letter from Chase. I got the letter but the last four digits of my card were wrong. I told Chase that the last four digits were wrong. They told me that the physical card number is different from the virtual card number, and that they can only give Proof of Ownership documents containing details of the physical card. They told me that I can take a screenshot of my virtual card details and send this as proof. However, the merchant doesnât accept this as a valid form of Proof of Ownership; they need a Proof of Ownership letter. So, what the hell can I do then?

So I got my iPhone 12 screen replaced two days ago. I think I possibly have a broken digitizer as well, not sure. When I got my phone back the first time, touch was not working. So he replaced the screen again. It worked. Had to factory reset my phone cause of lock out. I live pretty far from an Apple Store so I went to a licensed place. Any ways, yesterday morning I experienced ghost taps. Then nothing. This morning, ghost taps kept going to contacts and then I exited, then ghost tap swiped right and then left and all the way left and went to search and it typed âvâ.
Freaked me out so I quickly turned my phone off cause like what? So now Iâm here. No ghost taps so far.
Question is, could it be the digitizer or something more sinister?
I kind of regret turning the phone off to see what wouldâve been typed.

I have some issues with how the tie fighter, default LN model, is stated up, specifically it's maneuverability being equal to a Y-wings, when regardless of where you look, films only or legends or Disney, it's more manueverable than an xwing, and it's equal or better in speed.
Outside of wondering how this came about in d6, other than a need for a Mook enemy ship to blow up in masses, is there a set of more grounded/realistic stars out there?
