2024.11.29 14:30 TraumaTracer Now that I've finished the expedition, if I return to my main save can I still claim the optional milestones when they're completed, or would I need to stay in the expedition until they are?
I've never completed one ahead of the optionals before, and not since they changed it so you can use your main save for expeditions. How does it work? Can I return to claim rewards later, or does everything need to be claimed at the same time? I want to return to my main save but I don't want to miss out on the pets.

His drake takes the form of a wise gold dragon with a fire breath. The playstyle is going to be a mounted archer, so I gave him the piercer feat, along with the close-quarters combat feat(heās a human so he gets1, and the dm lets us get an extra one), and his ranger fighting style is going to be an archer.

2024.11.29 14:30 Old-Talk3509 Post Office Refused to Ship Ladoos and Ghee, Threatened ArrestāIs This Legal?
I had to send some ladoos and ghee (already inside an airtight plastic container and then inside an Amazon delivery box) to one of my relatives. However, when I reached the post office, they told me that they couldnāt send it because itās against their guidelines to send edibles and liquid items inside a parcel. I had packed it very carefully, almost leak-proof, but they didnāt listen.
First they said , item will get damaged , to which I said itās my responsibility ,you please send it . Then they said rats may eat it . (Fuckers ) plastic container is already bought so that rat canāt eat it. Rats wonāt even know whatās inside. As per common sense nothing wouldāve had happened as I packed (planned ) it considering every possibility (like rats and mishandling) . They said Ghee is a liquid item,so I showed them that itās already 10-15 degree temperature and itās already frozen . They just didnāt want it to be shipped.
When I said that I would complain about their behavior, the head of the post office said, āGo and complain first, and then we will do something.ā He also said that he could get me arrested because I was putting pressure on them.
Was that right? What should I do? Should I take any action or just let it go?

Hi, looking for a good work/school/everyday laptop. Should NOT be used for gaming, graphics editing or other high end stuff. Should be able to do some basic compiling though. I'll be reading, looking at videos/movies/youtube, internet stuff, etc etc. I do want it be smooth and snappy, no lag at all. It might need to run a VM, I doubt it though.
Needs to have the following:
- At least 16gb of DDR5 RAM, possibly 32gb (future proof...?)
- At least 512 nvme harddrive, possibly 1Tb
- At least 14", possibly up to 16"
- Should be Intel I7 or AMD Ryzen 7 or higher
- Battery life should be good
- Ideally have at least one USB C high end port
But....the dreamy side of me wants some kind of 4k screen with my laptop. The XPS 16 has a nice 3840x2400 OLED, but it is like $1800! Yikes!
Any other thoughts? Should I be looking at something besides a Dell?

2024.11.29 14:30 YourUsernameSucks21 I am an English teacher and I have this student who is an aircraft mechanical engineer for Ethiopian Airlines, he wants to practice his conversational skills with mel. I have several questions to ask.
First class I got to know him, and to my surprise is a very good English speaker. Usually even other students with degrees in engineering, make many grammatical mistakes, such as using present/past tense words incorrectly even though they can read and write perfectly. This student however makes absolutely no mistakes, and itās very clear heās far more intelligent than me. I discovered he would just like to have some conversation classes. I think we had a great first class and he was eager to return tomorrow. He seems like someone who enjoys what he does, and he likes explaining his job.
He talked about how his job is to overview maintenance for 10 specific airbus models, and work accordingly with their flight cycles. The 5 catagories of the maintenance review is: Airframe, Engine, Software, Cabin and Structure.
Each category has their own specific set of engineers. Every week he he does a presentation I believe in preparation of the upcoming flights.
So my question to other aerospace engineers is, what are some interesting discussions and topics I can bring up in our next class? The class flows very naturally, and time seemed to have flew by rather fast. Though I have a general idea of what we will be discussing next class, I would like to know what are some topics that aerospace engineers are very interested in. And more importantly what are topics I should NOT discuss. I considered bringing up some past Ethiopian airline incidents but I donāt know if these are on the ādo not discuss listā

2024.11.29 14:30 Satsloader Helm Contract Bug (PS5~) & Feedback
Unable to Accept Helm Contracts. This bug has been active since the launch of Season 4. It is consistent, but also intermittent. The only way to permanently fix it is to hopefully join a functional server. Sometimes this takes 3,4,5+ tries. That said, this bug can make its self appear even when previously nonexistent on a good server. There are work arounds, which seems to be: accept 1 contract, leave the helm, sell 1 food to a vendor, rejoin helm, accept 1 contract, rinse repeat.
To anyone not experiencing this bugā¦ it takes longer to accept contracts than to FUND ALL 76 FACTORIESā¦. So let that sink inā¦
1st: This Bug should be a Top Priority (Directly under losing control of our ships mid combat) as itās literally a broken feature when active.
2nd: Why are we still only able to accept 6 contracts after 4 seasons?! Please š increase this to a minimum of 10. 12 would be nice. We have an entire map full of active contracts we can join at any timeā¦ but for the helm we can only hold 6? Improve that, Iām begging you.
