I gave Amazon a second chance by buying a pair of Ray-Bans, but I shouldn’t have. I ordered the 3647-N model from a third-party seller, and as usual, the box arrived damaged. I still don’t understand why they send these products in a flimsy paper envelope instead of a proper box. I could literally order a $5 candy, and they’d send it in the sturdiest box imaginable.
Anyway... The case, booklet, and info sticker seemed fine, but then I unpacked the glasses: both lenses were covered in a weird oily substance. I wiped it off with lens cleaner, but it seems there’s something else going on. Under normal light, there are strange patterns, and when fog is applied, they become clearly visible. (It happens in both lenses, both sides)
Is this a red flag for knock-offs?

I have applied for over 300 jobs in digital marketing and have not had any luck yet. I also have no work experience as I just left education. If I were to get an iPad, my main interests would be games and media (possibly notes/drawing) but I’ve heard 50/50 when it comes to minis. Tbh, I’m afraid of the 10 gen being too big, but the mini being too small. For reference, I have an iPhone 14 and my index fingers don’t reach the top when I’m holding it. I feel that a mini may be the perfect size, except for when it comes to drawing/writing.

Where are you guys going to get your clothes altered? I have a few pants I need to get altered but I want to make sure they don’t get ruined since I’ve heard many horror stories of bad tailors in the city. Looking for someone good and not overly overly priced.
The pants purchased are pretty expensive and I'll like someone I can trust and go back to. I have several style of pants that go from bootcut to baggy, to tapered all for different styling purposes and my legs are pretty short compared to torso although I am fairly tall so I want someone that can make the jeans look aesthetic and take their time.

Hi all,
First time buyer here finally getting around to some painting and decorating.
I wanted to fill over some interior drill holes left in the bedroom by the last owners but I've seen so much conflicting advice and I feel like I'm losing my mind.
I've removed the rawl plugs already and cleaned the holes. I had originally tried to fill these with Painters Mate but I was too hasty and used the wrong thing and so I'm back to square one and want to get it right this time.
Would anyone be able to advice on best practice for filling these?

How do I stick to growing my hair out (because I really want to) when I also love having short haircuts.
Basically just that. My hair growth rate is fine, I had long hair before, so I am used to the copious brushing etc etc. But everytime my hair gets somewhere between mid back and just below the shoulders my brain is like bbbzztt have you considered a chin lenght bob?
I thought this was my time. I even measured my growth (14 cm in 7 monts) but the curse has struck me.
How do I banish pixies and cute french bobs from my brain?
If anyone else has this, how do you get past it. Does the little voice in your brain whispering "cut it" ever stop or do you just learn to live with it.
