2024.11.29 14:49 Prestigious-Job-6371 Spark plugs: should they be replaced per manufacturer's maintenance schedule (or is it OKAY to wait until a few symptoms start showing?)
 | The car is a 2007 Corolla, at 150K miles on original DENSO/NGK spark plugs, I think the manual calls for replacement at 120K but so far there have been no symptoms of anything at all, I think they can go even longer. I already bought the spark plugs for replacement, just haven't done the job yet. Main difference between the two is that the 2021 I’m looking at has the v6, and I do like the 2021 design more, but I’m coming from a Jeep Cherokee to get better gas mileage. Currently about 22 avg, best I’ve seen is 24 on the highway.
What is the maintenance difference between the 4cyl and the v6? I know there is a performance difference which is enticing but if it’s significantly less reliable it might not be the best option for me.

2024.11.29 14:49 MechaSandvich Myers feels even weaker than before.
I was looking forward to the Myers buff but I have to be honest I think he's worse than before, and possibly even Freddy/Skull Merchant tier now. And no, I'm not saying this due to the Iri Addons, but basekit.
Stalking from afar being buffed is nice, but stalking up close being nerfed makes Myers miserable to play. And stalking up close is usually better than afar. The nerf to up close has made Myers near unplayable on indoor maps and maps with a lot of line of sight blockers like the Coldwind variants with lots of Corn.
That said I don't think this would be hard to fix. Just give Myers the same stalk speed on both ends and he'd be fine, and this would be a buff. But as it stands this definitely feels like a nerf.

I got Camo as a rescue when he was about 18 months old. Since then we have lived in Florida, Pennsylvania, Alaska, and Ohio. He has been on a 3 month road trip across the US and Canada in an RV, and done the entirety of the AL-CAN highway in both directions twice. Other than a twinge of arthritis in his lower back and hind legs, he is fit as a fiddle and I hope will be my little chaotic guy for many more years to come.

I can already predict what people are saying “Why is this game online, then?” Because if there wasn’t, people would begin to have the idea of there being an online mode. Which would theoretically make people hypocrites.
Yeah, this game obviously has problems. No fucking shit, it hasn’t been a full year yet since the game released, so chill the fuck out.
The tournament was to showcase the game. Despite the game having problems. And now people are wanting to delete the game? Well..bye. Don’t know why you’re here if you’re just going to do nothing but complain about how dogshit the game is.
“Then why were there rules set up? Why was there a tournament held?”
Because tournaments are the only way people can play against each other online when out overseas. Dead by Daylight has tournaments and even THAT is not competitive. People make it competitive because they’re nothing but sweats and they want the win. Why do you think toxic fanbases form? Toxic fandoms are born because
- They want to win
- They complain about characters that they don’t like and want to twist the narrative.
Yeah, there’s money at the end. But that just solidifies my problems with people: Greed
They are greedy as fuck just because they are presented money. Yeah, it’s awesome having that much money. But at the end of the day, it’s a fucking game. Have fun with your heart’s content. Don’t be pissed that you lost a tournament. It’s okay to lose.
But don’t complain that this means that the game is dogshit.
These games are the developers’ choices. Not yours.

2024.11.29 14:49 laurenblair Early wakeups for 4 month old
My 4 month old has been waking up between 5 and 5:30am every morning crying. The first few mornings this happened, I fed her bc I thought she was hungry. However, I have ruled out hunger by feeding her when she wakes during the night. While we have not yet done formal sleep training, we have been working on FIO for a while and she is pretty good at self soothing. But not at 5am! Here’s our schedule: Desired wake time 6:45 (but will take 6:30) 4 naps; totaling about 4 hrs daytime sleep WWs are 1:15/1:30/1:40/1:45/2:10 Huckleberry has helped us get to this point and she BARELY makes it thru these WWs Barely ends up being around 7pm which she barely makes it to.
We are able to get her back down after 20-40 min but it’s brutal, for obvious reasons.
Is she sleeping too much during the day? Do we just need to ST so that these wakeups stop?

I've never had a relationship, and when I first started crushing him, I realized looks were something I had to put aside. I focused on the fact that he was nice, stood out in class, and, most importantly, smart. Aside from his looks, he and I do get along, but we don't share any interests (yet), and the thing is, it's going way too fast.
I've known him for about 5 days and saw him for the first time 6 days ago. He was quite upfront with me, complimenting all of my hobbies and fashion and said that eh find me attractive. He also noticed small things about me, like the mole on my forehead, which made me blush is when it's your first relationship you have a preconceived notion of that 'prince'.
He is not that prince and according to my friends he is even uglier than they imagined.... Along with that I feel like he has put me on this pedestal due to the strong first impression I gave him. I'm one of those people the more you get to know the more you realize I'm an abysmal bitch LMAO, but I genuinely don't know what to do. I'm in junior year I think it is time to get into a relationship but I'm shallow and horrible because I'm not sure if his looks are something I can put aside and date him for.

I know this is really dumb, but my family has a super fun tradition every Black Friday (I won't give details because it would make it extremely obvious to anyone who knows me who I am if I explain any of it; it's very unique to my family) so I made alternate plans with some friends to be almost as exciting. But the plans got cancelled. I feel like I found out Christmas was cancelled on Christmas Morning. I also have autism, which I'm sure isn't helping. I usually accept changing plans without much trouble but this is actually destroying me. And I don't want to tell the friend who cancelled on me that because what would be the point of that beyond making them feel bad too? But damn it, this was REALLY important to me! These were load bearing plans for my psyche. This is so dumb but I can't handle this specific day not getting to be special anymore!
