 | So, there was a little âincidentâ this past weekend and my husband may gotten sick on his jacket. He has had this jacket for a LOONNNNNG time. It says dry clean only. Most of the tag is faded too. He wants to risk washing it normal. Itâs a Woolrich jacket with a satin lining inside. I was either gonna spot clean it the best I could and then take it to the dry cleaners OR try cold water, gentle cycle and lay flat to dry. 2024.11.29 15:51 Crossbows The prioritization feature is so fucking stupid.
It seems with each new iteration of Outlier, they take one step forward and one step back. On Marketplace, youâre supposed to have freedom to choose different projects, but that simply isnât the case. I donât know what engineer added the prioritization feature, but it completely defeats the purpose of MP, and theyâre, no offense, quite incompetent if they do not realize that. I know companies want their projects done, but isnât the entire point of being an independent contractor choosing what work youâd like to do? Iâm okay with doing this project, I just donât want to be forced to only do this one project.
I already know this project is going to be rather stringent and annoying because the prompts are designed to make the AI fail and I have to fix their responses and then make another prompt and response, but, again, the onboarding to teach you how to be perfect is littered with grammar errors and a training video wherein the guy doesnât actually do the task (youâre supposed to write a follow-up prompt and he literally just wrote âfollow-up promptâ) and says umm literally every other word.
I donât know. Is this company one big social experiment to see how desperate someone is for money? I feel like a lab monkey.
TLDR: the prioritization feature is really dumb, and it forces you to deal with the awful onboarding experience more often than Iâd like. If I wasnât constantly shifted from project to project, I could actually improve at that project and not have to do unpaid training that is almost entirely useless.

 | Hello, I just had this issue with the camera on an iphone 15pm that's running iOS 17.6.1. Those colorful parts appeared all over in the main camera, 1x and 2x, and it didn't snap pictures at the time, not with the screen button nor the side volume physical button, it did change camera lenses and the other ones did not show the screen issue, but still didn't take photos. I was in a rush didn't try to kill the app and open it again, I just rebooted the phone and it now works normally without the screen issue. Some things to note, it has many apps that require me not to update to the latest iOS, it only happened once in the main camera app which I normally don't use as I film in Blackmagic's app all the time, I wanna know it's if it's a known bug or should I take it for warranty. The phone didn't get bumped nor kicked or fell ever, no water damage either. Has anyone had this happen before and got to know if it was a bug, or a software issue or something else like the camera flex or another piece of hardware? 2024.11.29 15:51 RoutineWorld4269 Genuinely tired of my husband & his "parenting"đ
My husband has sleep apnea but refuses to see a doctor. This mans snoring woke me up at 3 in the morning, and I couldnât go back to sleep, tried for 2 hours. Couldn't, so so I got up at like 5 to clean the house and make deviled eggs for Thanksgiving. We cosleep occasionally & well his alarm woke up our toddler way too early, and I had to be the one to settle him back down.
We also had tickets for Moana 2 at 10 in the morning. So, when I did wake up our son. I was the one to get him woken up & ready for the day, I made breakfast, packed the diaper bag, and handled everything while my husband locked himself in the bedroom to get himself ready, then sat he on the couch until we were "ready." He does the bare minimum but complains weâre "late" and everything else. If i'm luckyâŚhe might dress him once ive picked out an outfit or put on his shoes. The cherry on top, I made breakfast, but my toddler barely ate. The plan was to get a somewhat healthy meal in & then treat him to donuts. But no we skipped it, even though my toddler was still hungry (bc he barely ate breakfasteverything was to rushed & chaotic). Out of frustration my husband said no we aren't going to get donuts "due to lateness" I argued popcorn & candy isn't good for breakfast his response...neithers donuts. NO SHI BUT ITS BETTER THAN POPCORN WTF..I argued we'd miss the credits at most!!!! đ He refused, Whatever, I ignored it. Didn't want to start the day with a fight.
Next Part: Seeing the in laws on Thanksgiving I spent the day mingling, playing with the kids, helping around ect. It was exhausting. Didn't really see my husband much. Later on I found him on the couch (his dad on the recliner) laying down. (both) ASLEEP. I joked about it annoyed & everyone acted like it was normal. His mom giggled it off as "better theyâre out of the way."
When we got home, I eventually asked for a nap because I was exhausted, from being up since 3am but, he started yelling at our son from the couch instead of actually parenting anytime hed do something my husdidnt agree with...WHICH IS EVERYTHING (it feels like) Im very relaxed if hes not in daner, or breaking things, being voilent, ect i leave him to do his thing. My husband complete opposite. Anyways, he's yelling from the time I left... Within 10 min he yells âYouâre done bedtimeâ , which then ofc led to a tantrum. Not trying to undermine his parenting, I went with it. I'm the one who got him dressed & ready for bed. I'm also the one who fought him for an hour to get him to sleep. Meanwhile my husband laid there asleep, snoring. Only waking to complain/yell about our 4 year old doing summersaults and rolling around the bed kicking & thrashing, screaming , crying ect.
The next morning (today), I got up at 6am to clean once again, got like 30min to play my game and breath. By 8 My son woke up upset I wasn't there in bed with him, had to deal with that and my husband just got up & got on his game. Anytime our son would do something he disliked he'd get upset đ and eventually would yell, still not getting off the couch. Anytime he'd complain i was the one who had to step in & stop the behavior. The only reason I'm able to type this is because I walked out & said deal with it. Find a way. No yelling get off the couch act like parent. He's in the living room watching yugio.
Iâm exhausted and honestly f-ing done. FED UP. When I bring this up, he gets defensive, blames ADHD, or guilt-trips me. (Hes tired, hes trying, our toddler doesn't know respect, the house is always dirty ect) But I have ADHD and both mental & physical health issues, and I still manage to handle everything. I manage do it, even though I have chronic pain & am disabled. I donât know what to do anymore. And this man wants more kids we've been trying - but the longer we try it's like do I even want this with him, as he is now? Short answer: NOT REALLY
