People seek me out to hire me, but nobody actually wants to get to know me. Socially awkward. Never know what to say. I say all the wrong things and don’t ask good questions. I tend to be one of those people trying to solve all the probs. Apparently this is good in the work world, but not in the social world. Do I just give up and surround myself with animals and solitude? Why do I even want to be around people anyway? I’m in my 50’s and it’s been this way my whole life. I don’t bond well because most of what interests people is extremely uninteresting to me. Sports, pop culture, etc. Does anyone else have this issue?

Stuff i’ve done, stuff that my « friends » have said or done to me keep replaying in my head. recently i’ve been thinking of a memory i have of my friend trying to kill himself and before he opened up to me. whenever i think about that one in particular it brings me back to that place and idk what to do.
i got high last night and went through it all in my head. idk how to explain it but it felt like everything was doomed, like a really bad bad feeling about it all. i still remember things that he said to me and how i didn’t even internalize it and understand him.

2024.11.29 15:51 Embarrassed-Fox43 1 hour wake up

My LO (after terrorizing me during week 6) is sometimes now doing 3.5 hour sleep stretches at night (almost 8 weeks). But she always!!! wakes up at 1 hour of sleep. I have to either pick her up and soothe her or rock her bassinet. During the first 3.5 hour stretch it’s easier. But subsequent sleeps (usually 2-3 hours) it’s sooo difficult to get her settled after the 1 hour wake up.
Any suggestions for this? It she’s trying to transition to deep sleep, is there anything I should be doing for this. Am I making it worse by rocking the bassinet. I feel like if I don’t she will completely wake up and wail.
The 1 hour mark is usually when I’m finally falling asleep, it’s so tough How were we supposed to be our best with so little sleep??

Ontario. I filed two T1 applications against my old landlord. 1) T1 for illegally charging me a security deposit and than not paying me back 2) T1 for rent rebate for living in an illegal apartment. I talked to legal counsel, for the first one they told me I have a 99 percent chance of the LTB ruling in my favour. For the other I have to prove that the place was illegal. All I have are a few photos a the apartment. The apartment is in the basement of the landlords business, has no windows, vents, and has exposed pipes in the bedrooms. I called bylaw and they said it’s zoned for both commercial and residential use, I told them about the basement not being up to residential standard mentioning everything I said above. They said that it was most likely zoned for residential but not approved to be lived in. Also when I moved into the apartment the landlord told me not to tell anybody about living in the apartment in the basement and that I’m a worker at his business. I have no proof of this conversation, but he said it.
Are there any chances of the LTB ruling in my favour? Should I have had more proof? And could I be rebated in rent paid for the time I was living there? Any advice would help.

After 5.2 update there's been weird spikes in CPU usage and the game starts to lag, FPS drops to single digits. Although there's enough headroom for GPU (hovering around 70-80%).
Things to be noted

  1. I have resetted windows and this happened after that.
  2. Game is on SSD
  3. No other game has similar issue
  4. The game files were not deleted after reset, only the launcher was removed
