Disclaimer before I get into it. Iām calling him straight because he identifies that way, calls himself that. I may not believe heās fully straight, but itās just easier to say it this way. Also, I know the perils of falling for someone you work with. Sometimes It can work, sometimes it cannot work. I just want to understand things a bit more.
I started gaining feelings for a man 28 years older than me, in his late 50s. For some reason, in the first year of working with him, feelings just built up. I found him attractive, I wanted to spend more time with him. He identifies as straight, he flirts with women, he talks about women, heās also very straight acting. For some reason, I gained feelings, but I also felt a sort of shift with him. Maybe this is the gaydar. Heād text me out of work. Heād touch me on the shoulder when saying goodbye. He has a nickname for me and the way he spoke to me compared to others.
But then, a year ago after a very drunken night, both of us drunk, we went back to his hotel room he was staying in. I guess drunk me saw this as the opportunity. If it would happen, it would be now. He told me to stay in his hotel. I told him I didnāt need to as I had my own room, but when we got in, he invited me into bed. I asked if he was sure, and he was. We did stuff. He liked to watch me and let me do stuff to him, but he wouldnāt touch me. However, he did kiss me.
After, he asked me to never speak about it again. We came up with stories if anyone saw us go back together, and he told me he never wanted to discuss it as he doesnāt want to be offensive. Itās what I predicted, but I respected his boundaries.
I guess it was awkward the first week after, but we went on Christmas holidays and then didnāt see each other for a few weeks. Heād comment on my social media posts over the break, and when we came back to work things seemed fairly normal. Not the same as before, but more normal than I expected. Eventually over time, things became almost how they were before. Heād text me out of work again, but not as much as before for sure. He eventually started touching me when leaving for the day again, and calling me by the nickname he had for me. He sticks with me when we go on nights out, heāll put his arm around me, have fun and laugh.
He may be very comfortable with the choice heās made after our encounter, and know he wonāt do it again, but I didnāt expect that. The way he still is with me, it makes me think maybe heās got feelings. Maybe not romantic, but does he care for me in some way?
I donāt think heās closeted gay, I think heās bi curious, and Iām the closest human he can get to satisfying that curiosity. I just expected more awkwardness, more embarrassment and a distance between us. But there isnāt? I almost feel like at the right time in the right place, it could happen again?
Iāve accepted I have feelings for him, even if Iām not sure how as we only see each other at work and work nights out, which are never often. It plays on my mind. I feel almost lead on, but then is he aware heās doing that? Maybe Iām good at hiding feelings and showing things donāt bother me? Maybe he likes my attention? Maybe he forgets himself?
I donāt know. I feel trapped in something that will likely never go away unless I fall for someone new or leave the job entirely.

Opinions? Iām looking for a vehicle for a family member. It would be her first car. We found a 2014 Mazda3 isport hatchback with 74k miles for right around $10,500. I pulled an auto check on it and it says clean original title and that it had been in 2 accidents prior with damage to the left rear side and bumper. One was listed as minor and the other has no additional info.
Also, arenāt touch screen displays standard on these? The radio looks like an older one. Maybe replaced? Asking to see if it would be a hassle to switch it out for her if she decides on this vehicle.

Iām in a challenge living situation I (mid 20s female) recently moved into a unit with my roommate (late 20s female)
When I viewed the place I asked her if she had any specific living preferences I should know about and she said no that sheās pretty chill. So I was like great and moved in November 1st, and within a 2 days complaints started.
Firstly she told me I shouldnāt keep any of my stuff on the kitchen counter because āshe likes a clear spaceā which I thought was insane because she has her stuff all over the kitchen counter including a big appliance. The thing that triggered this was mixing bowls stacked in the corner because theirs not cupboard space which she moved and I said fine. But obviously thatās not sustainable because I feel we should share the kitchen evenly with storage and space and itās not because her stuff takes up most of the drawers and cup boards.
Secondly she complains that sheās a light sleeper whenever Iām in the kitchen in the night. One night I came back late from my evening activities and was making a meal and she complained I was closing the drawers too loudly? Which I wasnāt I was being very cautious and Iām generally not loud in the kitchen anyways I was just warming up food.
On top of that she asked me not to do the laundry at all during the week because sheās a light sleep and goes to bed at 830 pm and that I canāt do it earlier because itās too expensive so I should only do it on the weekend. Which I said no to and said Iād agree to do it once during the week and on weekends but this still seems unreasonable.
Now the worst offence is that sheās currently away and has her friend living in her room while sheās gone. I donāt know this person, never met them, donāt even have their contact. When I brought this up to her that itās not okay she basically said to deal with it and that her friend is allowed to use the space how she wants because itās her room. To which I said thatās unfair because itās a shared space so you need to communicate directly when guests are coming over to stay the night or longer. When she said her friend was going to be coming while she was away she said āsheāll be coming aroundā and wouldnāt give any more detail.
Idk what her problem is, I told her when she gets back we have to have a chat about how we share the space so weāre both comfortable but sheās been on the defensive since day 1 and itās not even been a full month yet (which we both have been away for half of the month)
Any thoughts on how to deal with this?
