Now, lamay na ng lola ko for the next 9 days. However, this december 2 until 10 na yung bimonthlies namin. How do I manage my time? Which one do I sacrifice? I have no idea what to do anymore... do I attend my lola's wake and sacrifice my grades? But how about my scholarship? Or how about baliktad, where i prioritize ko yung grades ko kaysa sa lola ko..? Keir Starmer met representatives from the Board, JLC, UJS and CST at Downing Street Communal leaders have held an urgent meeting with Keir Starmer in Downing Street to discuss âthe abhorrent rise of antisemitismâ and how the government can work with them to address the growing challenge.
Attending the talks with the Prime Minister on Friday morning were representatives from the Board of Deputies, Jewish Leadership Council, Union of Jewish Students and the Community Security Trust.
A call was made for Government support to promote cohesion and tackle extremism â whether from the far-right, the far-left or Islamist sources.
It also discussed the communityâs sentiment in respect of Israelâs war of self-defence against Iran and its terror proxies.
They raised concerns about the recent ICC decision, restated the cross-communal call for the proscription of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of the Iranian regime, and underscored the plight of the hostages, including British hostages.
Dominating the meeting â slotted into the PMâs schedule just one week after communal leaders requested it â was concern that the threat level to the community had got worse in recent weeks, after 14 months of serious problems.
It was pointed out problems have grown as a result of the increasingly extreme actions of activists from groups like Palestinr Action outside buildings used by Jewish organisations, schools and on demonstrations.
The pressures facing the community in workplaces and elsewhere in society was also emphasised to the PM.
Downing Street confirmed the meeting with Jewish community leaders which it said had discussed the âabhorrent rise in antisemitism and how the government can continue to work with the community to address this challenge.â
Board of Deputies President Phil Rosenberg and Chief Executive Michael Wegier, Jewish Leadership Council Chair Keith Black and CEO Claudia Mendoza, CST Chairman Sir Gerald Ronson and Chief Executive Mark Gardner, and UJS President Sami Berkoff and Chair of Trustees Daniel Dangoor took part in the meeting.
Starmer was told this situation represented a threat not just to one single community, but also represented a threat to ânational security.â
The Union of Jewish Students representatives also expressed concern to the PM that in relation to antisemitic incidents on campus, it was no longer possible to submit some complaints anonymously, leading to some students fearing repercussions if they did so.
Communal leaders said Starmer was both âengaged and concernedâ as he heard concerns raised about the actions of groups like Palestine Action. Discussion focused on strengthened legislation around public safety and on the prosecution of hate crimes.
The PM welcomed the announcement of the Boardâs Commission on antisemtism, led by Lord Mann and Penny Mordaunt, and again stressed his own support for inter-faith work in testing circumstances.
Discussion also turned to the on-going crisis and conflict in the Middle East. Starmer raised his own meetings with the family of British-Israeli hostage Emily Demari and spoke at one point of the âtortureâ she and her famiky continued to go through as a result of their capture by Hamas terrorists.
The UK governmentâs response to the ICCâs call for arrest warrants for Israelâs Benjamin Nentanyahu and Yoav Gallant was also raised at one point, with communal leaders pointing to French moves towards offering the Israeli leader immunity from arrest.
Nearing the end of the meeting, the communal leaders also raised concern amongst the charitable sector over the rise in employee national insurance as outlined in the budget. This concern was noted by the PM.
Jewish News understands that communal leaders have further meetings planned with other government departments, including talks on antisemtism in the NHS, with the health secretary.
Following the meeting, Jewish leaders said: âWe requested this meeting last week in the context of serious anxiety from the Jewish community about rising antisemitism. We are grateful to the Prime Minister for agreeing to meet us so quickly.
âWe raised the communityâs deep concern, about the seemingly relentless antisemitism we have seen at protests, at Jewish community buildings, on campus, online, in workplaces, the NHS, the cultural sphere, and even against Jewish pupils on their way to school.
âOutside the Jewish community, businesses with real or imagined links to Israel, and indeed our politicians, have faced harassment and criminal damage. Some have even been chased from their homes, places of work or places of worship.
âWe conveyed our shared view that this continued crossing of red lines is not just a threat to Jewish security. It is a threat to national security.
âWe found the Prime Minister to be informed, concerned and engaged. He and we have committed to engage across Government departments to ensure the action we need to reclaim our streets, campuses, and community buildings from racist thugs, and ensure a secure and thriving future for the UK Jewish communityâ.

One of the things I have just realised the changes to spellshot bring, is the ability to cast spells from spellhearts as, although the base dedication only gives you a couple cantrips... you have the spellcasting activity.
Looking at them a thought came to me.... I put a reinforced stock on my gun... mostly as an emergency mele option at low levels.
However... it is it's own weapon... the runes from my gun don't apply to it... which would mean it can hold it's own spellheart
Which would mean... at level 8, with flaming stars.... 2 fireballs per day.
Am I missing something or am I just 900gp away from becoming a fireaball meme?

Over the last year Iâve started experiencing severe migraines that have only accelerated. Like most of you this journey has been rough, but Iâm doing everything I can to kick these migraines (supplements, yoga, eating right, sleeping well, seeing a neuro, etc.) Recently Iâve been trying the migraine abortives pathway and Iâm struggling to understand if they arenât working or Iâm not giving them a proper chance. For context, I have IBS and have a strong sensitivity to any type of drugs.
Rizatriptan - took 1/4th pill, bad diarrhea, difficulty focusing and low energy, had to take off work. Migraine somewhat felt better but not worth the side effects
Nurtec - took 1/4th pill, heart flutters, sweating, anxiety, feelings of allergic reaction. Unclear if migraine improved because I was concerned about my heart on it. Will not be taking again
Ubrelvy - took 1/4th pill, head feels⊠stuffy/fuzzy, difficult to concentrate, eyes feel very focused/alert, light sensitivity eases. Primary migraine pain eases but replaced with a light throbbing in back of head. Migraine still returns after medication subsides. Currently trying half pill (50mg) to see if this is a viable treatment
As I write this Iâve had a migraine for over a week which is painful and causes dizziness, but I can deal with that if I know when/how to make it end. My understanding of abortives is that they are supposed to kick the migraine, but thatâs not exactly my experience. Based on my comments, am I using these abortives properly and they donât seem to work or is there something Iâm missing?

Iâm having trouble with my second Olight Warrior Mini 3 flashlight charging. The first one charged once, but after that, the charger stayed green and wouldnât charge the flashlight. They sent me a second charger, but it didnât work either. Then they sent me a replacement flashlight, which worked for a few charges before it stopped charging as well. Now Iâm left with three chargers, two flashlights, and Iâm out over $80. Looking through these posts, I see Iâm not the only one having this issue. How does this company stay in business?

Just as the title says, when i enter a game (for example job simulator), I can't pick anything up with my right sense controller. The left one works just fine. It seems like none of the buttons on the right sense controller work in game, while they work just fine in the ps5 home screen. I already tried resetting the controllera but it didn't fix it. Is this a fixable problem or will I have to return the whole set and ask for a replacement?
