 | I really wasn’t a fan of 1 million, it was very overly spicy for me. Coach platinum was cheap but I don’t really see myself wearing it that often. I liked Hugo boss le parfum. I really enjoy maahir legacy, smells almost 90% like Sedley and I adore that pdm. I love love love queening and lattafa khamrah. Not sure what else to add right now. I don’t wear cobalt, I love the smell but on my skin it just doesn’t last for whatever reason. I have a buddy who wears it and gets all day performance. So I might need a new freshie or just something for the summer in general. I was thinking of getting greenley or paradise gardens. A family friend I've been pestering to get armed wants to buy a gun but believes due to a stint in a psych ward, they are legally unable to purchase a firearm unless they get clearance from a licensed medical professional or psychiatrist (they have neither anymore, it's been years they claim since the incident) as per:
11 Del. Code § 1448, § 1448A
The following persons are prohibited from purchasing, owning, possessing, or controlling a deadly weapon or ammunition for a firearm within the state:
Any person who has ever been committed for a mental disorder to any hospital, mental institution or sanitarium, unless such person can demonstrate that he or she is no longer prohibited from possessing a firearm by possessing a certificate of a medical doctor or psychiatrist licensed in Delaware hat the person is no longer suffering from a mental disorder which interferes or handicaps the person from handling deadly weapons"
They say that they worked in a psychiatry office once and they avoid clearing patients for liability reasons and haven't had a doctor in years.
With all this information I've been provided I still want to help them find a way to get clearance under the law as I believe them far more than mentally stable enough to possess a firearm, what avenues should she look into? Any tips and info would be a great help here, God bless!

I usually play without my microphone plugged in, but recently I needed it for a meeting. I plugged it in, but it didn't seem to work. I also can't mute the mic anymore with the button (the red light does not turn on).
After looking a bit closer, the microphone doesn't stay plugged in properly, and I can see that the jack socket moves inside the headset.
I'm just going to send my headset back for repair, but does anyone know how the jack is mounted inside? Is it supposed to be directly soldered to the main pcb? I don't really understand how it broke from me just plugging in the microphone...

Hi all I recently started playing TWW1 and have been loving it my first campaign is with Karl “summon the Elector Counts” Franz and I was looking for some tips on battles and Seige, I know the basics of battle but when I’m up against a similar size army since they don’t really start the fight I have to which kinda leads to another great start to the fight and I then I go back and forth on using my crossbow men to either hit their ranged or use them to hit their frontline to support mine, some general tips would be much appreciated.
I did my first Seige and I use mortars to open a wall and had another wall on the other side so I used my reinforcements to hit the other side but the battle kinda stagnated and I took way more losses than I should have if anyone could also give me some seige tips. thanks 😃

I have a relatively new predator 212, only mods done are an air filter adapter and a straight pipe, it ran fine for a day but now only wants to run good while on choke, the second I flip the choke to "run" it starts to idle slightly lower and barely throttles, is there anything you guys would recommend, I have been cold starting it each time, I usually let it run for about 5 seconds before I start throttling it.

Currently have the nest doorbell (old version, wired). I'm planning on getting the Eufy E340 floodlight. I like that you don't need a subscription and was considering replacing my doorbell as well.
I know you can see the camera livestream on the Nest Hub, but when someone presses the doorbell, will the stream automatically start? Also would I be able to play the chime on the best nest hub (or even on the nest mini speaker?).
Also how are the controls on the Google home app? For both the doorbell, and for those who have it, the floodlight.

My wife and I are going to start IVF in the new year. I have been told I am higher risk of OHSS which is something I'm a bit concerned about but not overly worried. We are in Scotland. I hope that this post makes sense.
I was wondering if anyone knew the timescales for 1. If I end up having OHSS and have to freeze any embryos how soon after this can these be transferred? and 2. What is the timescale between a failed transfer, and a new transfer (so if it doesn't implant when can you try again?) I'm just asking out of curiosity as I can't seem to find any details on these sort of timescales online.

I just ordered Oriveda REISHI PRIMO & Lion's Mane L+ combi package.
Upgrading from using the 5 defenders from Real Mushrooms.
From everything I read on here Oriveda is the real deal. I normally take the 5 defenders on an empty stomach. Should I continue to do the same with Lion’s Mane from Oriveda when it comes in? Also has planning to take Reshi an hour before bed time.
Taking these and the 17 other vitamins/supplements just for better health.

2024.11.29 15:49 HappyTheDisaster The problem with melee+ranged Dual Wielding in Darktide.
The addition of dual wielding has always been a big request within the darktide community, which makes sense, since it was available in the previous games and the use of chainsword and bolt pistol is an iconic visual within 40k. But yet, fatshark has not implemented this setting defining combo. We need to ask ourselves, why? To answer that we need to look at the previous tide games that had dual wielding, which is the Vermintide series, and how they are different from darktide.
The major most important difference between the Vermintide games and darktide is the enemies and the weapons they use. A notable portion of the enemies types we fight against in darktide use ranged weapons, and many of those enemy types are used in large quantities, such as gunners and stalkers. This makes ranged balance within darktide more complicated than in Vermintide. Because in Vermintide, the majority of ranged enemies were specialists that didn’t come in massive groups, meaning you won’t have to use as much of your ammunition on them, instead leaving surplus to deal with tough melee enemies. This difference meant that ranged weapons were simply not as important in Vermintide as they are in darktide, that’s not to say their weren’t builds in Vermintide that made ranged more important and that their aren’t builds in darktide that trivialize the importance of managing your ammo, but across the board, shooting the correct things is more important in darktide.
Why should this matter for dual wielding though? Because in Vermintide the dual wielding option we had for a melee+ranged combo used no ammo, it was based on a cooldown system. We couldn’t have that implementation of dual wield in darktide for obvious reasons, most importantly the fact that it adds even more complication to the ranged balance of darktide. So that meant that fatshark had to come up with a satisfying yet different way to implement dual wielding in darktide, one that wouldn’t conflict with a melee weapons ability to block, won’t conflict with a ranged weapons ability to shoot like it’s secondary counterpart, make the single handed melee weapon equivalent redundant or conflict with a melee weapon’s ability to use its special. Understandably, they couldn’t find a satisfying way to implement a dual wield melee+ranged combo and we didn’t get it for darktide’s release and haven’t since.
So how would I come up with a way when the professional developers didn’t? My guess is they did come up with a similar idea. The issue is that the idea requires way too much resources to reasonably do with the budget they were given when they could use those resources elsewhere. The idea being a new animation for when you are wielding a one handed melee weapon and a one handed ranged weapon, keeping your ability to switch between the two weapons and use their mechanics, but having some bonuses and negatives for doing that. Examples such as being quicker to swap between the two but longer reload times. Another idea is for pistols that have a melee special where your melee weapon replaces the pistol whip, giving it the damage profile of your melee weapon. The issue with this idea is that you’d need a new animation set for every combination of pistol and one handed melee. New reloads, new weapon swaps, new weapon bashes, etc. It’s a lot of resources being spent on an experimental weapon system that may not be satisfying to the consumer player base and may not be used by as many people that would make it worthwhile. We need to remember that development of any kind is a problem of time and resource allocation, and when ever we want to see something implemented to a game, we need to ask ourselves how reasonable is the request and would others find the appeal.
