Problem/Goal: Hello 28M so here goes, my company Christmas party is coming up, and I already know what’s gonna happen. Since I’m the newbie, I’m probably getting dragged onto the dance floor. 😅 Like, I can’t escape it. I’m not gonna lie, I’m both excited and a little scared kasi, I’m no dancer. More of a kinda awkward stepper, but we gotta survive this, right?
Heres my dilemma: I’m not about to do some crazy moves and end up looking like I don’t know what I’m doing. I’ve seen the veterans at these parties. They’ve got moves, they got swag, while I’m just trying to figure out how not to look like a disaster. Kasi you know how it goes, newbie ka, automatic ka na sa stage. 😅
So, here’s my plan: I’m thinking of starting with something chill lang, like a simple side step. Just move with the beat and keep it lowkey. Pero I need some pro advice. You guys, what’s your go-to move when you’re just trying to vibe and not look like a fool? Kasi I’m thinking of a shoulder shimmy or maybe even a body roll. Pero baka naman overdo ko, di ba? Kasi hindi naman tayo "dance floor pro".
I’ve seen people do that move where they’re just bouncing on the spot. As in parang naka "stay in place" lang. Does that work, or will I look like I’m just trying to act cool? Should I just go for it or play it safe?
Honestly guys, I just wanna survive. I don’t wanna be the guy na wala sa rhythm or yung tipong awkward pa sa dance floor. Any tips or memorable moments you guys can share? Paano kayo nag-survive sa first company party dance?
Tulong naman dyan. Lahat ng tips, mga embarrassing moments, or any advice would be much appreciated. Kasi I’m pretty sure, no matter what, it’s gonna be a blast. Let's goooo!

long story short, I was ghosted by a guy I had a “talking stage” with for 5 months, and we never got to meet (crazy, I know). More context in this subreddit and in heartbreak.
The gist of it is that he ghosted me for whatever reason and I found out by finding out he blocked me from seeing his story, which I saw him partying in after a claim that his sick father took a turn for the worst and couldn’t talk much. This triggered my unresolved anxious attachment that I thought I was over with my ex. I called him out, he sent a voice note saying it wasn’t me, and how he’s never enjoyed texting conversations with someone so much before, and would always try to meet up with me but our schedules never aligned until he had to go to Antigua for his dad, as mentioned above. In the apology he never mentioned why he blocked me from seeing his story, and that made me angry because I felt like he was not telling the whole story and in trying to understand I completely freaked out, accusing him of using me for my body (nudes, voice notes, sexts, etc) lying about his dad’s illness, his character, his “feelings” for me, etc and more or less just calling him a coward and just wishing he would tell me me why I was ghosted.
This first happened in March. His last message to me was March. I kept asking him to just tell me so I can let go a total of like, 4 times. My last message to him was giving up in May.
Now that time has gone by, I feel immense guilt for the words I said and how I reacted. Even if he didn’t ghost me for any reason, my reaction definitely made him lose any guilt and reassured him that he made the right decision. It was immature, and even though he ghosted me and we had a good connection, he technically didn’t owe me anything I guess. I feel shame and guilt and was planning on reaching out at the end of the year to just end the year on a good note and to make sure I don’t bring him into 2025. Closing the portal of hate Katt Williams opened this year.
I looked at his instagram for this first time in months off my burner on Sunday and he posted a story of himself kissing his girlfriend at the heart sculpture in Toronto Distillery. This broke my heart and made me cry, realizing I clearly still have feelings for him. Although I still have romantic feelings none of that would be conveyed in the apology, I just want to say to him i’m sorry for how I reacted and that it was just an overreaction and projection of my attachment and how It was wrong for me to accuse him of heinous things and criticizing the content of his character. Although it’s just an apology and I doubt he wants to hear from me, is it disrespectful even if I don’t mention that we “talked” ? I just want this weight off my shoulders.
Any thoughts?

I’ve gotten the most evil and vile comments that ever received in my life. I never knew it possible to have so much hate in your heart but now I see. People that don’t know God don’t know what love is, which is why people like atheists are devoid of love. They’re all just harborers of hatred.
If I’m being honest, this just makes it harder to love people because I know how evil people are, but I never knew we could be this evil. Even when I wasn’t following Christ, i wasn’t nearly as bad as these atheists. I want to be able to love them despite their negative comments but I just can’t. They are doomed to their own destruction

My parents (56,56) live five minutes from my husband and I. My mom watches my sister and my children while we’re at work, and we pay her. We personally pay her 1,000 a month to watch our kids. Usually we do thanksgiving together, but this year our parents informed us they were going out of town for both thanksgiving and Christmas. They invited us to thanksgiving up at their cabin, but it was too late a notice for us to find a pet sitter. It was also only after I point blank asked them about the plans. They had been dodging the question and this was three weeks before thanksgiving. So my husband and I planned thanksgiving at my house with my sister and her baby. I should also not that all our kids are 5 and under. Day of thanksgiving, we call my parents and find out they decided not to go to the cabin because of fog. I invite them over to spend time with us but they say no, they’re looking forward to spending it with just themselves. They live five minutes from my husband and I. I questioned if they were tired of seeing us everyday, since they watch our kids. I’m a little hurt but they’ve done similar things before so I’m not shocked. I won’t lie though it did sting to see all the pictures on Facebook of families together, excited to spend holidays with kids and grandkids. My sister is very upset and confused by this and we spent thanksgiving dinner talking about it. We found out my parents trip to Mexico for Christmas was canceled and I suggested to my sister that we make our own plans for Christmas and invite my parents. That way we’re not waiting on them, and hurt when they don’t act the way we want them to. I feel like that girl waiting by the phone to see if here toxic fling is going to call to hang out. Except for it’s my sister and I waiting to see if my parents want to prioritize spending time with us on holidays. So AITAH for taking Christmas planning into my own hands this year. The way I see it they weren’t going to originally be here anyway, until we found out Mexico was canceled.

Minha família mora no Vale dos Sinos no RS. Estamos sofrendo há alguns dias com uma facção “Os Manos” cobrando uma suposta dívida que meu irmão havia com eles. Meu irmão faleceu há 2 semanas e não sabíamos de nada de dívida que ele possuía com agiotas. Falaram que a dívida é de 350 mil reais e precisamos pagar os juros até final do dia no valor de 24 mil reais. Caso contrário todos serão mortos. Afirmam que possuem o endereço de todos os familiares. Fugimos da cidade, fechamos nossa empresa. Não tenho certeza se é golpe, armação… talvez estejam se aproveitando da morte do meu irmão e tentando arma isso. Já abri BO, procurei o MP. Talvez seja golpe ou armação… talvez não. TLDR: People come and demand we play doubles and let them play in with us on a court where we brought our own net.
For context, I live in a city with many tennis courts that have pickleball lines on them, but you have to bring your own net. My friends and I often play early in the morning and bring our own net. We often play singles as many in the group have a tennis background and prefer that style of play.
Inevitably other pickleball players will show up and ask to play in with us and that we stop playing singles and start playing doubles because more people can play. Sometimes we let them join in and other times we let them know we are going to continue playing singles games and they are free to use the court afterward.
Recently more and more players become upset if we do not switch to doubles and let them play in. They begin demanding to play or just hanging around and making rude remarks as we play. They say things like this is the standard for pickleball or for this city. Or that we are monopolizing the pickleball court.
Maybe I’m selfish but it seems odd to me that we’re obligated to let others play pickleball with us when we brought the nets and that playing singles is frowned upon. From my limited experience this is not the standard in tennis and my friends with a tennis background agreed that this is not normal behavior. For those of you that play on public courts is it expected that you switch to doubles when others show up and you let others play in on a court you were already at?

Hallo an die liebe Schwarmintelligenz.
Ich hab mich finanziell etwas an die Wand gefahrenen und würd mal gerne wissen, was ich jetzt im ersten Moment tun kann, sodass ich nicht still rum sitze und Dinge unnötig schlimmer werden.
Ich kriege keinerlei Sozialleistungen, weil ich nie richtig Vollzeit gearbeitet habe über einen längeren Zeitraum, sodass man mir ALG oder ähnliches bewilligen könnte. Ich war eine Zeit lang selbstständig und bin dann zurück ins Arbeitnehmertum gerutscht bis das dann auch sein Ende fand.
Ich bin arbeitslos, was ich natürlich ändern will und bin außerdem verpflichtet Unterhaltszahlungen zu machen(weiterer Grund für keine Sozialleistungen weil erhöhte Erwerbsobligenheit).
So wie es jetzt steht kann ich für den kommenden Monat weder Unterhalt noch Miete zahlen, weil auf dem Konto kaum noch was drauf ist und demnächst geht dann auch noch die Kreditrechnung ab was mich dann endgültig in das nicht geplante Dispo drückt.
Ich hab bereits überlegt etliche Dinge zu verkaufen(diverse elektronische Artikel, wozu ich 0 bisher 0 gekommen bin) und war auch schon im Gespräch mit einem Pfandleihhaus, allerdings nehmen die dort keine auf eBay gekauften Artikel wenn man nicht zu 100% den Erwerb usw nachweisen kann.
Wenn's hart auf hart kommt, kann ich für gewöhnlich meine Eltern mal fragen, damit sie mir was leihen, allerdings siehts bei den selbst finanziell nicht gut genug dafür aus.
Für Leute die es interessiert oder es was zur Sache tut, ich bin um die Mitte 20 und a bissl depressiv.
Kann ich sonst etwas tun außer Vermieter und Ex über meine Zahlungsunfähigkeit zu informieren?
Was könnte das alles für folgen nach sich ziehen?

I’m fresh out of high school, been working for a while and finally got $2386 saved to be exact.
I’m in my first year of uni and I had to quit my job to prioritize school exams this month so unfortunately that money isn’t getting bigger for a while.
I’m not a finance guy so I don’t know anything about stocks or anything like that. Though I have had a credit card since March (debt’s paid) rarely use it tbh.
I’ve seen Weathsimple circle around here or there but never really looked into it.
