Need some help with trying to troubleshoot an ongoing issue. The trans has an intermittent very hard shift. It revs up and slams into gear. I have rebuilt the trans and replaced the vss sensor, tps sensor, the connector that goes to the trans solenoid, checked the wiring, and probably a few other things I can’t think of now. It could run just fine and not drivable the next. Please let me know if anyone has some advice.

I just spent 40hrs on the core game, no DLC, and was loving slow-roaming around so much, avoiding the final mission, expecting some epic quest connected to the Arasaka building. Instead, apparently my choices lead me only to !!. So gutted! Not because of the act, but more that I don't feel any narrative connection to my choices leading to that ending. (Without wanting to hit spoilers of how, could someone confirm that it's possible for V to survive in a different ending?).
By contrast, the ending of Bioshock Infinite leads to a !!
I'm torn whether I wanna sack off the franchise or buy the DLC immediately, and watch the anime show in tandem. Either way, I love that I originally bought this game on xbox one, years ago, sold it within 24hrs due to bugs, then rediscovered it years later now, to totally fall in love with it. It took me the whole game of pissing away attribution points to the wrong fields, until I finally learned about and purchased the SYSTEM COLLAPSE quickhack. Man, what a joy !!
Gonna start reading Neuromancer the novel to scratch the itch under my chrome, either way. Keep it real, chooms!

Just a question. I was misdiagnosed with bipolar disorder last year and my psychiatrist had me on a very strong antipsychotic that messed with my mental health, hunger, and weight gain while I was taking it.
After reevaluation, he told me to wean off of it within 10 days, which I did. That was a month ago. And now I feel very nauseous in the morning for like 4 hours, and I also only sleep a max of 4 hours a night while feeling well rested.
Can these types of medications mess up your body’s chemistry?

2024.11.29 15:47 OOO_Katai_OOO After playing Metaphor I think FF7 Rebirth deserves the GOTY...

I want to make a comparison between these 2 games because I strongly disagree with the narrative that sees Metaphor as a masterpiece, a goty or a game superior to Rebirth, everyone's tastes are unquestionable but certain aspects are also objective such as:
- In Rebirth you can go from Kalm to Junon on foot and enter buildings without loadings with the party always visible on the screen, while in Metaphor there are continuous loading in dungeons, in cities in cutscenes or even just in the animations to open a chest.
- The Battle System of Metaphor is rounded and in the endgame reaches a fun variety but it is also an emulated and less free system than Shin megami V, while Rebirth evolves an unique Action-Hybrid where the turns are replaced by dodges, parries and melee attacks different for each Party Member without losing anything in strategic terms.
- Metaphor's Dungeons are supported by its excellent Battle System but the design is mediocre, where the most repeated mechanic is "enter the hole" while in Rebirth they vary for each Party Member, you have the section with Yuffie where you climb, Tifa's with the grappling hook, Barret's with the rails and shooting... there is no comparison.
- While in Rebirth we are in front of a graphic prodigy, Metaphor on the contrary is almost indecent, a game can also have the polygons of the ps1 and be beautiful but in Metaphor god save me from letting my gaze fall on the character models instead of the portraits to avoid making me vomit, I would say that this is the weakest aspect of a great jrpg but with the graphics of a ps2 game even worse than an Atelie.
- Both of them play decently on the soundtrack, unfortunately I have to say that the tracks in Metaphor are a bit few and repetitive.
- I don't want to focus on the Narrative because it's subjective, I'll just say that excluding the key points mainly influenced by Nomura at the end, the characters in Rebirth are interesting to discover, with well-written dialogues and excellent character acting.
I didn't like the plot of Metaphor. As much as I have great respect for Ashino's productions that are always complete and written to inspire people rather than to preach... I found the battle-shonen tone of Metaphor very limited given the themes covered, with very anonymous Party Members, especially those in the second half. The Antagonist on the other hand is very beautiful, I give them credit for that.
- The variety and quality of Side Activities in Rebirth is not comparable to that of Metaphor, with the rideable chokobos with different mechanics for each region, the races, the minigames, queens blood, crafting, bosses with unique mechanics linked to environmental interaction, the Open-Map is not dispersive with unique loot, it's a game of another level.
- Finally, I suffered a clear neglect of certain aspects due to a DISCOUNTED Re-Release in Metaphor, such as the absence of dubbing in Social Links or a Social Link with Louise. For me the modus operandi of the re-release is a serious flaw, also because there's no way I'll replay it in 2 years while I would have gladly given 30€ for a DLC.
Ultimately Metaphor is a beautiful game with a fun endgame combat but I haven't seen the 9.4, the masterpiece, the rival of Rebirth... I must have missed it among its 1000 black loadings so as not to put the animation of the protagonist turning... It's a very good game, a full 8, but Rebirth is on another level and for me it deserves a goty.

Hello,
I've struggled with loneliness for years and am really unsure of how to proceed anymore.
I feel lonely 90% of the time. The only time I don't is when I'm hanging out with someone, and then sometimes I still do. And as soon as I go home or they go home, I'm immediately back to feeling a deep sense of loneliness and like there's a giant hole in my chest. I work from home some of the time and usually feel lonely, and then also feel lonely when I'm in office.
The thing is I've built up quite a big friend group here now, I go to clubs after work such as archery, I try to keep up with old friends and play with them online, and organise times to go and see them in person (they live in different cities). I'm still struggling to go out to the pub by myself but I'm working on it. But I would say I just feel lonely most of the time, despite all of this.
I tend to book my calendar really full seeing friends and things, with work on during the day and things on most nights (I might have 1 night free in a week sort of thing), but I still feel sad and lonely despite this and I feel like I can't really get much more social than I am really.
I think part of the feeling comes from knowing that I need to book ahead to go and see friends and everyone is so busy... so then if I have a free evening and start to feel lonely it's difficult because I have no options.
Does anyone else feel this way? If so, how do you cope with it?

Made two new cardboard notebooks. Getting the hang of it now! Still playing with this idea. Made my 3rd & 4th diys with a thicker cardboard for the covers.
These have lined, dotted, and watercolor pages inside so I can use them as a daily driver for notes, to-dos and quick sketches.
I’m incorporating some of the packaging stickers in for aesthetic and stability on the spine as an experiment.
Happy with how these turned out!

So yesterday was of course thanksgiving and I have my mom(50), my brother(30),My neighbors (m28) (f27) my husband(25) and myself (26). For a good portion of the night my mom and brother were loud and obnoxious. Yelling”i need a gonna take a shot!” My brother made a comment to my neighbors “ yeah I can tell your not from texas it’s by the way you act.” I think he tried to do it in a playful manner but it came across rude. Then my mom and brother made comments about me saying “ Lindsay always gets embrassed by us she just hasn’t had enough to drink.” Well comments like that went on and on the whole night then I step outside to let my dog out. I come back in and my mom brought up the subject abortion and my neighbor the man and my mom both antagonizing each other and just yelling. The neighbors leave because it was getting out of hand. Once they leave I blow up at her, I didn’t yell but I said “ did you really have to bring that up ? Does that make sense at all” she the said “ oh I get it you won’t give me grace but will give him. You just care about your friends . You know I don’t feel comfortable being here.” I then told her to leave. She left and my brother stayed trying to get me to go apologize and work this out. I told him “I’m not going to talk about this I’m setting a boundary and I think you should leave as well.” While I was talking to my brother. My husband was outside talking to my mom he told me she said “she is choosing her friends over me and how could she act Iike that” My husband then told me my mom was getting into a victim blaming mood. Then they left.
I put my heart and soul into hosting thanksgiving. This isn’t the first time my mom has ruined a holiday. My mom even called my dad and lied to him that I said to her to “Get the Fuck out” which I didn’t say. I have been treated like shit by her and my brother. I have decided to cut contact . I guess what I am asking is am I in the wrong?
