I’m (F in my 20s) in the throes of anticipatory grief for my mother who has a few months to live. The diagnosis was very sudden, mom is quite young (60s) and we are very close.
I have been crying so much recently that my family want me to see a doctor. I have done over the last few months - repeatedly - to get ever stronger antidepressants, which I am taking. I am going to bereavement therapy every week, doing chores, leaning on my friends over the phone, reading books about grief, doing everything I can to function and to try and cope, but I’m still crying for hours and hours and hours every day.
Should I see a doctor again? What more can they do? My family says that something has to change as the intensity of my grief has them all at breaking point.

Newbie here so sorry for the probably idiotic question.
Taking my first out of state solo trip in Spring 2025.
I’m going to confirm before going but I’m pretty sure my private health insurance should cover me out of state (again, will check and confirm before leaving because health insurance is way too complicated…) but would travel insurance still be worth it?

A little backstory. And this will be long, sorry. Me (38f), my husband (43m), and my two children (9m, 4m) live in California. My family (parents, sister, brother) all used to live in CA, about 5 minutes away from each other, until 2022 when they all moved to different states. My brother has 5 kids.
For Thanksgiving, my husband’s family decided to meet at his mom’s house in Texas. My brother also lives in Texas now. I called my brother and asked him if we could visit them, too. My plan was to land at an airport closer to my brother on Tuesday, spend the evening/night with them, hang out in the morning, and then drive to my MIL’s house on Wednesday - about 3 hours away.
I notified all the people, we bought tickets, reserved cars, etc. My oldest is ecstatic. The kids haven’t seen each other since 2022.
My brother tells me we should get a hotel room for the night. Then he tells me we could only go to his house Wed. morning. I’m starting to feel unwelcome and like an inconvenience. I keep telling my brother that I just want the kids to get a chance to hang out.
We arrive and the plan ends up being: we will go to hotel, my brother will bring 3 of his children and pick up dinner, and then we can eat at the hotel. Side note here- brother called to tell me that one child has a “lingering cough” and the other child has a slight fever. He wanted to give me the option to back out. I said it’s fine, my youngest has a lingering cough, too. The kids want to see each other. People get sick, it’s not the end of the world.
So we’re eating and my youngest son, who’s had a cough for about a week, was coughing. My oldest talked about going over to their house Wed. morning, then my brother says “actually, his cough is concerning, so I don’t think it’d be a good idea for you guys to come over.”
So AIO for being upset that we traveled to another state to visit and my brother refused to let us come over because my son has a cough?

 | Backstory: I’m a private nanny. I get paid $22/hr. Mon-Fri. 5 hrs a day. When I watch two of her kids instead of one, I get paid $24/hr. I was supposed to work for my client from Nov 18th-Nov 22nd (five days). I took Nov 22nd off, so I’m only getting paid from Nov 18th-21st (four days). On Nov 22nd when I called out, she told me she already ran payroll for five days. So that next week, she’ll run it for four days. I was supposed to have Nov 25th-29th off. But last minute she asked me to come in Nov 25th (Monday). I had two girls that day, so I get paid $24/hr for five hours. Yesterday, she asks how much I’m owed so she can pay me. I said $560. ($22 x four days = $440) plus Nov 25th ($24 hr x 5hrs=$120). Her response is: Nov 25th Monday $24 /hr x 5hrs = $120 Tuesday - Thursday 22/hr x 5 hours x 3 days = $330 120 + 330 = $450 She says hers is correct because on Nov 22nd, she technically already paid me for five days even though I took that day off (I called out last minute) and that she technically overpaid me I think I’m correct because the four days is already set in stone (I worked Nov 18th-Nov 21). So Monday Nov 25th is an additional workday. Am I missing something?? Help me understand what’s not being seen. And be nice please! Although I haven't had the GES done yet, my GI doctor thinks I have gastroparesis after taking one semaglutide injection almost 9 weeks ago. I'm currently being prescribed reglan and while I don't have the nasty side effects, I can't say it's helped with the heaviness/early satiety/fullness. Right now I'm having really hard time getting calories and taking in fluids. How do you guys manage this?

I’m putting together a ”movie night” themed gift for a couple, and one of them is gf and dairy free. Does anyone have suggestions for popcorn seasonings I can include? Obviously, anything cheesy or ranchy is out, but there are lots of spicy varieties that look interesting. Obviously I’m looking at ingredients lists, but I know gluten can hide in things a non-gf person wouldn’t recognize. Little help?
