So I’ve been talking to this girl for about 5 months now, we’ve had our ups and downs quite often but we always seem to make our way back to one another through no contact. For context she is an avoidant attachment style and I’m an anxious attachment style.
The other day we saw each other after 2.5 months of not seeing each other and the date went rlly well, beforehand however she made it clear that she was not looking for physical affection on the day coz she was just out of it, being a anxious person I immediately assumed she wasn’t attracted to me and that was the reason but she reiterated that she was just going through a phase.
Like I said the date went well, but towards the end I slightly pushed her into kissing me, only because I missed her so much and wanted to show it so it was all with good intention, so she kissed me back and we went our separate ways but the next day she was dry and cold and said she didn’t wanna talk and said she didn’t have a reason she just didn’t wanna talk.
Today I finally got my closure… she said that the reason was really bcoz she felt uncomfortable kissing me and that I disrespected her boundaries. I apologized profusely and told her it was a mistake I made out of impulse.
She said she doesn’t wanna talk anymore but I mentioned how she shouldn’t throw our connection away just because of this mistake, on our date she even said that “you’re the most genuine guy I’ve met” and “we will be going on another date” She’s really upset and she said that this mistake I made meant a lot to her bcoz I couldn’t respect her wishes, when I asked if the reason she didn’t want to kiss me was bcoz she was still celibate or whether she just wasn’t attracted to me anymore she said “Now it’s both”.
I managed to talk her out of a complete ‘break up’ but she said “You disrespected my boundaries so yea I want a break, I’ll text you when I want to, don’t bother texting me coz I won’t respond.”
This whole time I’ve been worried whether she just doesn’t feel attracted to me anymore (emotionally or physically) on our date she reiterated that she is definitely attracted to me but is just celibate, now she’s saying she isn’t attracted and is still celibate, I don’t know how to process all this…
I just want to show her my intentions are good, can someone pls give me some advice on how to re-attract her, how I can get her to be interested again, it’s so hard to believe that a simple kiss ruined our bond, I get that she didn’t want to be physically but after all we’ve been through and seeing how connected we are I thought she’d understand and at least no go to such extreme lengths. Pls help…

Any distortion in replacing one word with another, distortion in replacing one letter with another, distortion in replacing one vowel with another. This is the meaning of distortion and its types as defined and explained by Muslim scholars. The question is: Does this meaning of distortion apply to the books of the Bible? And if some people imagine and claim that this happened, can they answer the following questions? (1) When was the Bible distorted? And in what era did the distortion occur? (2) Was the distortion done before or after the sixth century AD? (3) Who distorted the Bible? (4) Where was the Bible written? And in which country in the world? (5) Why was the Bible distorted? What was the purpose of that? (6) Can anyone provide historical evidence for this claim? (7) Where is the uncorrupted version of the Bible? What are the texts that have been corrupted? How can you distinguish between what has been corrupted and what has not? (8) How did the distortion occur? Was it possible for anyone to collect all the copies of the Old Testament that were present with the Jews and Christians, and all the books of the New Testament that were spread across dozens of countries, hundreds of cities, and thousands of villages, whether those that were with individuals or those that were in churches, then distort them and return them to those from whom they were taken? No Christian, whether orthodox or heretical, has ever said that the Bible has been distorted throughout the history of the Bible and Christianity. One of the most famous discussions in the second century was the dialogue between Justin Martyr and Trypho the Jew. Both relied on verses from the same holy book, the Old Testament. Neither accused the other of distorting the Holy Book, but they differed in interpretation and application. 2024.11.29 15:40 palmerade OBGYNs — is it possible to have an EXTREMELY short but functional cervix?
Female, 30, pregnant with my 2nd baby. My first pregnancy I had cervical length (CL) on the “short end of normal” at 2.5cm around 18 weeks. Was put on progesterone and it was a non-issue, I delivered at 40+2 after a fully dilated emergency c section.
I’m currently pregnant again, and at a preventative 16w scan (essentially to see if I should go back on progesterone) we were all shocked to find a CL of 9mm with slight funneling. No dilation, closed. No symptoms, no cramping, no bleeding… totally asymptomatic. A cerclage was placed the next day, back on nightly progesterone, and the working theory is my fully dilated c section is in likely the reason for the shorter length this time around.
So far I’ve had 2 follow ups (I’m 19w) and the cervix has looked exactly the same each time, no change.
I’m being followed closely by my medical team but I guess I’m looking for hope or reality check on my situation — I see a lot of stories of women getting a cerclage for incompetent cervix when their CL shortens drastically quickly, so maybe their CL started super long but their body is trying to shorten quickly. This makes a cerclage seem very effective to me! The cerclage (especially preventive) will hold them closed and their length is strong! However I feel like I’m in a different camp — I don’t think I have much length to begin with, but based on my previous full term birth it doesn’t appear my body wants to function insufficiently (hopefully that makes sense). Do I have reason to hope a cerclage at 16w is enough to strengthen my cervix to carry past 30 weeks or is this length with or without a cerclage just fundamentally not sustainable for a pregnancy?

Our family loves front and backcountry camping. We often go on canoe trips into the backcountry and camp out for days. Sometimes we also go to actually campgrounds (that are dog friendly). We are getting a puppy in a couple months and are hoping to start taking her out on our adventures in summer 2025. Just curious how old your puppies were when you started taking them out? Did you do any type of training that you felt helpful to prep you for these adventures? Any other tips? :)

Sono sempre stata quella affidabile che doveva prendersi cura degli altri, mentre invece i miei fratelli hanno avuto il diritto di fallire, drogarsi, cadere in depressione e via dicendo..
Le premesse per crescere sana non ci sono mai state. Sono diventata isterica, alterno momenti in cui urlo e tratto di merda tutti, a momenti di depressione in cui penso di ammazzarmi, ad altri momenti ancora di super creatività e voglia di fare.
Mi sono un po' logorata e sento di essere arrivata alla frutta. Non ho combinato nulla di buono e sono talmente ansiosa da non riuscire ad interagire con gli altri senza rovinarmi l'equilibrio emotivo per una settimana.
Cosa devo fare? Al csm è già seguito mio fratello, mi vergogno ad andarci anch'io e non so nemmeno cosa dire. Per non parlare del fatto che mio padre mi giudicherà malissimo se dovessi andare in cura pure io.
Non ho idea di cosa possa avere, so che se dovessi chiamare mi sentirei in colpa e farei finta che va tutto bene per poi sprofondare di nuovo nel mio mare di pianti, ansia e urla, ma anche voglia di ridere e divertirmi.
Ho paura di non essere presa sul serio..
