I'm one of the people that things the prequels had the best fight scenes and score, the OG trilogy is classic in a way that nothing can beat, and sequels were mid (at best). The fights were slow, the story was boring, everything about Rey made me think like Han: "That's not how the Force works!"
In my opinion, if they want to remake it, by all means; I don't think I can enjoy it any less than I already did, and it might, *might" be better.
I want to know what everyone else thinks, however.

2024.11.29 15:41 TheRealMoussaSissoko Can I upgrade 1-2 things on this 8-year old PC or do I need to rebuild the whole thing?
My PC: Motherboard: ASRock Z170M Extreme4
CPU: Intel i5-6600K @ 3.50GHz
GPU: GTX 1070
RAM: DDR4 16 GB (2x8) 2400Mhz Corsair Vengeance LPX
Storage: Samsung 980 NVMe 500GB (plus some other drives)
I game on a 60Hz 1440p monitor and for a long time now I can't get a smooth 60fps experience on many games that I enjoy. I like playing a lot of FPS games and even if I can hit 60fps, it doesn't feel smooth - there's lots of stuttering - especially if lots of effects are taking place.
For example, I played the Delta Force demo and even though in sections it's smooth, during gunplay my FPS drops significantly.
Another example is The Forest 2, no matter how much I tweak/lower the graphics, can't get smooth experience, even at lower resolutions.
If you were to update only 1 component, maybe 2, what would you go for? My idea was to keep the motherboard and upgrade the CPU or GPU but I have no idea any more what's compatible and what's worth upgrading to.

It is usually quite 'sticky' for want of a better word. For years I have tried to make a sauce like this and I can never manage it. Is it really just a matter of massive amounts of gelatin? I have tried reducing home-made chicken stock (made with an instant pot full of wings and other joints), reducing it all the way down to barely anything and it is still much looser than what I want, especially when I add a drop of wine etc. I also cannot get it to be the right color, it often ends up an opaque dark brown or purple.

I’m not here to shame your category, your profile, gender anything.
I got OA-88 (slot2) I think I’ll be somewhere in 98.xx but am I satisfied? No, my quants didn’t went well— will clear sectional, ofc but I knew it was easy and made really silly mistake.
Some of you would’ve done the same in varc, dilr or quants. No matter how you’ve scored- 60,70,90,100+ if you’re not satisfied with your percentile, so proud of you.
Remember there are people who are always willing to settle for less, but not a lot of people who take risks or hustle. I had 92 percentile with a month of prep, dropped the idea of cat almost joined a job, dropped out of my masters college because I wanted to get MBA now, and I felt that I can do better. I studied for 6 months this time and had mock scores ranging 65-83. Well ig it was kind of accurate.
The thing is I’m still not satisfied. Will join a college of if I will get one, appear for OMETS and will still appear for CAT in future just to be in that 1%ile because I like challenges and maybe you do too, that’s why the disappointment.
Ab whatever may happen, let’s take a deep breathe and prepare for the next exam.
I can’t believe we all collectively spent 10hrs on this scaling score shii. Haha.

First, I like Brittani, LOL! Yes, she's a mess, but she's also weirdly endearing? I love how dramatic she is what with throwing down napkins on the table and shouting, "What about me?!" And her asking to extend grace to Mary was also nice.
Bronywyn blasting Whitney and Angie felt a bit unnecessary - I'm now side-eyeing her. I was also a bit taken aback when she called herself a you-know-what in front of everybody at a sit-down dinner. I get that self-deprecating humor is her shtick, but wow.
On a side note, Heather was hilarious. And I too teared up watching Mary and Robert Jr :(

Se você gosta de ler, com certeza já tentou escrever algo. E, por capricho da vida, essa fase geralmente floresce na adolescência. O resultado disso é que ao invés de relíquias, você acaba criando micos documentados.
Entre as pérolas que encontrei, uma se destacou. Depois de ler "Divina Comédia" – completamente fascinado pela tragédia dos amantes – resolvi fazer minha própria releitura da história. Agora imagine só: o épico genial de D. Alighieri reimaginado como uma fanfic adolescente. Sim, era isso. Meu talento literário conseguiu transformar um clássico da literatura mundial em algo digno de um conto extraído diretamente do Wattpad – outro lugar que eu ainda nem me atrevi a entrar, mas que sei que tem muita coisa vergonhosa.
Reencontrar esse conto foi hilário. As excessivas palavras rebuscadas, o tom niilista brega e as descrições sem sentido. Impagável!
E vocês, têm algum tesouro (ou vergonha) da adolescência guardado por aí?

So i FINALLY started to progress on mu compulsions. My compulsion is checking behavior. One of the hardest one for me is when I add songs to my playlists. I have to check up to 20-30 times to see if it's on the right playlists
I realised how stupid it was, and even if i didn't check according to my experiment there's about a 98% chance it's on the right playlists even if I don't check at ALL
So now i check mostly 2-8 times, which is way better. But now new compulsions (that are even more stupid logically) starts. It's like this disgusting ilness just want to keep me as a slave no matter WHAT. I'm so sick of this
Anyone with same experince?
