I (25 female) became friends with lets call her Meredith (25 female) everything was fine at least I thought it was. During our friendship I did notice she would fake cry on command to manipulate her supervisor into letting her go home ( she gave her mom fictional illnesses) and would fat shame anyone she hated( for context I am a fat person myself). It all went downhill after we both started EMT classes and her 19 year old talking stageâs mother gave a sob story about his cousin who is in the classes with us. After that she started treating me cold and when I would ask what was wrong she would say nothing and continue to ignore me. I pressed and pressed until she confessed the previously stated. I felt betrayed but I forgave her at the moment. After that it was hot and cold with her so I decided to completely cut her off. The cut off was due to the lack of communication even after I kept trying to understand what happened or if I did anything. Did I make a mistake cutting her off?

So Iâve been talking to this girl for about 5 months now, weâve had our ups and downs quite often but we always seem to make our way back to one another through no contact. For context she is an avoidant attachment style and Iâm an anxious attachment style.
The other day we saw each other after 2.5 months of not seeing each other and the date went rlly well, beforehand however she made it clear that she was not looking for physical affection on the day coz she was just out of it, being a anxious person I immediately assumed she wasnât attracted to me and that was the reason but she reiterated that she was just going through a phase.
Like I said the date went well, but towards the end I slightly pushed her into kissing me, only because I missed her so much and wanted to show it so it was all with good intention, so she kissed me back and we went our separate ways but the next day she was dry and cold and said she didnât wanna talk and said she didnât have a reason she just didnât wanna talk.
Today I finally got my closure⊠she said that the reason was really bcoz she felt uncomfortable kissing me and that I disrespected her boundaries. I apologized profusely and told her it was a mistake I made out of impulse.
She said she doesnât wanna talk anymore but I mentioned how she shouldnât throw our connection away just because of this mistake, on our date she even said that âyouâre the most genuine guy Iâve metâ and âwe will be going on another dateâ Sheâs really upset and she said that this mistake I made meant a lot to her bcoz I couldnât respect her wishes, when I asked if the reason she didnât want to kiss me was bcoz she was still celibate or whether she just wasnât attracted to me anymore she said âNow itâs bothâ.
I managed to talk her out of a complete âbreak upâ but she said âYou disrespected my boundaries so yea I want a break, Iâll text you when I want to, donât bother texting me coz I wonât respond.â
This whole time Iâve been worried whether she just doesnât feel attracted to me anymore (emotionally or physically) on our date she reiterated that she is definitely attracted to me but is just celibate, now sheâs saying she isnât attracted and is still celibate, I donât know how to process all thisâŠ
I just want to show her my intentions are good, can someone pls give me some advice on how to re-attract her, how I can get her to be interested again, itâs so hard to believe that a simple kiss ruined our bond, I get that she didnât want to be physically but after all weâve been through and seeing how connected we are I thought sheâd understand and at least no go to such extreme lengths. And if some people imagine and claim that this happened, can they answer the following questions? (1) When was the Bible distorted? And in what era did the distortion occur? (2) Was the distortion done before or after the sixth century AD? (3) Who distorted the Bible? (4) Where was the Bible written? And in which country in the world? (5) Why was the Bible distorted? What was the purpose of that? (6) Can anyone provide historical evidence for this claim? (7) Where is the uncorrupted version of the Bible? What are the texts that have been corrupted? How can you distinguish between what has been corrupted and what has not? (8) How did the distortion occur? 2024.11.29 15:40 palmerade OBGYNs â is it possible to have an EXTREMELY short but functional cervix?
Female, 30, pregnant with my 2nd baby. My first pregnancy I had cervical length (CL) on the âshort end of normalâ at 2.5cm around 18 weeks. Was put on progesterone and it was a non-issue, I delivered at 40+2 after a fully dilated emergency c section.
Iâm currently pregnant again, and at a preventative 16w scan (essentially to see if I should go back on progesterone) we were all shocked to find a CL of 9mm with slight funneling. No dilation, closed. No symptoms, no cramping, no bleeding⊠totally asymptomatic. A cerclage was placed the next day, back on nightly progesterone, and the working theory is my fully dilated c section is in likely the reason for the shorter length this time around.
So far Iâve had 2 follow ups (Iâm 19w) and the cervix has looked exactly the same each time, no change.
Iâm being followed closely by my medical team but I guess Iâm looking for hope or reality check on my situation â I see a lot of stories of women getting a cerclage for incompetent cervix when their CL shortens drastically quickly, so maybe their CL started super long but their body is trying to shorten quickly. This makes a cerclage seem very effective to me! The cerclage (especially preventive) will hold them closed and their length is strong! However I feel like Iâm in a different camp â I donât think I have much length to begin with, but based on my previous full term birth it doesnât appear my body wants to function insufficiently (hopefully that makes sense). Do I have reason to hope a cerclage at 16w is enough to strengthen my cervix to carry past 30 weeks or is this length with or without a cerclage just fundamentally not sustainable for a pregnancy?

Our family loves front and backcountry camping. We often go on canoe trips into the backcountry and camp out for days. Sometimes we also go to actually campgrounds (that are dog friendly). We are getting a puppy in a couple months and are hoping to start taking her out on our adventures in summer 2025. Just curious how old your puppies were when you started taking them out? Did you do any type of training that you felt helpful to prep you for these adventures? Any other tips? :)
