My stepfather, who is an artist, was approached by a stranger on facebook who wanted to purchase one of his works with ethereum. It seemed legit so he signed up for the website and invested like 50 euros to start out so he could disband if he wanted to. To do the transaction, the buyer asked for 600 euros. Of course, he declined, but the buyer bargained so that he would pay 70% and just needs 30% from my stepdad. I am verh positive this is a scam and I want to dissuade him from wasting his money. If it happened to anyone else, please tell me how it works so I can tell my stepdad to avoid doing dumb stuff on crypto.

I've been using Kody with RD for YEARS and never got this. I have Private Internet Access (PIA) but it's not in place. Yet. Mea Culpa! Could that be the reason my nefarious deeds have been exposed? So, two questions:
1) Will invoking a VPN hide me adequately? I'm a little gun-shy right now. 2) Has any of you run into this? I don't want to get another alert like this? 3) Are there any "safe" browsers? I don't access Kodi through a browser so I'm looking for a second line of defence.

Hi!
I am looking to buy new headphones that I mainly plan to use for flights and commuting.
So my main priorities are comfort and ANC that is good enough for blocking out noises on a flight.
I don't care as much about sound (I currently use Galaxy Buds+ so anything will be an upgrade and I'm not so picky), but I like good bass and listen to mainly hip hop.
I don't care about mic, battery, or other features.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S24 and will use them only with my phone if this matters.
The 3 headphones within my budget (200 USD / 190 Euros) that I am looking at are Bose QC SC, Sony XM4 and Sennheiser Momentum 4.
I have also seen Soundcore Anker Life Q30 and Q45 be recommended as budget options, so if anyone has experience with these I would love to hear your opinion.
Currently I lean more towards the Bose QC SC or Sony XM4 as they seem to have the best comfort and ANC.

I'm rewatching BvW1 and noticed in episode 2, the tribal council lasted just a minute and 45 seconds, from Jeff starting his first question to saying it's time to vote. They laid out the stakes and just got to it.
With the frequent complaints about how tribal in the new era is just people spewing metaphors without any real substance or gameplay (although there are plenty of exceptions), would you mind shorter tribals?
Personally I'm okay with it. If everyone's playing things close to the chest, and no revelations or major swings happen, just show us whatever interesting bits there are and let's get to it. Obviously if things go live, or if someone drops a bomb, spend time on it. But otherwise just get to the drama of the votes and the reveals.

I came out to my wife last November. This year has been really rough for us as a couple. I started HRT with out her knowing. Working with my therapist weekly to become secure enough to discuss it with her. It was really hard for her to hear. We cried, yelled, and talked. We almost ended many times. Parted ways. But..
Today we are going for a nice walk in the desert together. I'm listening to her emotions. Sharing mine. I am finally me as a woman and sharing this side with her is just so grounding, All this is from therapy, being authentic, and of course vitamin shE. A year ago my anxious dysphoric self could have never imagined I would feel this good And be this strong to be myself. I'm 50 years old. Reading all your posts here and seeing your lovely smiles bring me daily joy.
