Hey everyone. I currently have an R7 with EF 16-35 and an EF 100-400 with a 1.4x extender. I'm looking to fill the gap between the 2 lenses. I'm comparing the RF 24-70 F2.8 and the RF 24 - 105 F2.8. Has anyone compared the two? Any pros or cons? Is the 24-105 worth the $900 over the 24 - 70?

I’ve been trying to find some information about the logistics around getting around Gotland.
I’m planning to visit Gotland and more specifically the Bergman Center on Fårö Island in perhaps May next year, as part of an Interrail trip - ie not driving myself.
From what I can see, there is a bus that would take me from Visby to the ferry to Fårö, but then on the other side I would be stuck 8km from the Center. Unless we go after mid June, when the bus would go all the way.
I’m just looking for any alternatives to get to the Bergman Center, even a guided tour that would take me around both islands would be perfect but I have not found anything like that online. Are there any operators in Visby that we can arrange with in person?
Any advice appreciated.

Hi everyone, first post here. Yesterday a radiator pipe burst in our apartment, which flooded the entire place. The handles that were supposed to be on the pipes were removed and replaced with a bolt that needed a wrench to turn off the water. We tried to use a wrench, but since it took a couple minutes to uncover the valve, it was so hot and too much steam that it was too dangerous to turn off ourselves. So we had to wait almost 40 minutes while steaming dirty water was bursting out of our wall, which ended up flooding our entire apartment and filled our apartment with thick steam. When the plumber came they figured out the windows were old and leaking cold air, the pipe had burst previously and looked like wasn't properly repaired, and there should have been a hand valve NOT a valve that required a wrench to turn off. Basically the building is just wiping their hands clean and telling is too bad, just go back to living there. They cleaned the water, but there is a ton of water damage on the floor and walls (because of all the steam). Tons of our stuff is destroyed, the room that it happened in had our computers, which we tried to remove as quickly as we could. I asked if we could break our lease, because now I don't trust the building, but they said we can't and we would have to pay the remainding time. Keep in mind there have already been 2 (smaller) leaks in our unit, so I really think the building is probably garbage. I don't really know how to proceed, we have renter insurance, the building manager just told us that we can return to our unit and will be replacing the baseboards.

My best friend had a lump in his calf muscle in January this year and it turned out to be a sarcoma type called an ossifying fibromyxoid tumour, and his leg was amputated above knee in August this year.
In June last year he bought his house and on the Zoom call to the mortgage salesman he was upsold critical illness cover, on which he has now made a claim.
It’s now been approximate 16 weeks since his leg was amputated and he submitted his insurance claim. If valid, the claim pays out his entire mortgage.
A few weeks ago they contacted him saying they just need to request his medical history from his GP, and today they called him up asking for a clarification on a few things.
One of them was a major red flag, saying in 2010 he had an MRI scan due to a prevalence of fatty lumps (lipomas) and was subsequently diagnosed with neurofibromatosis. He responded that this is literally the first time he has ever heard that term, he had no correspondence from his GP clarifying this, and he has undergone no treatment whatsoever. Furthermore, his surgeon and medical team surrounding the sarcoma never brought up this neurofibromatosis as a possible cause of his cancer, never mentioned it, and so on. He literally knew nothing about it.
He was told the investigation team are treating it as a potential discrepancy and he will now hear the outcome over the next week.
On the Zoom call he was upsold this insurance, briefly asked for his medical history, and there was no follow up appointment nor any stressing that he needs to acquire his medical history from his GP. He answered truthfully and honestly to every question to the best of his knowledge.
If he is rejected, where does he stand (pardon expression) legally on his chances of appealing? Should he go to a solicitor first or the financial ombudsman?

As someone who prefers Xbox over PS because of its ease of use and above all its consumer friendly approach I wanted to ask something on the line of achievements.
And that is, do you guys think Xbox would need a platinum equivalent for when you complete all of the achievements in a game ? What do you think it should be called ? Or if you think it doesn’t need one in the first place and why.
