Hello everyone,
I don't know if this is the right sub for this, but hopefully you guys can help out.
I will be going to a friend's wedding in Manila, I'll be coming March 27 - April 4th.
I'm not too sure where to stay (what would be safest for a tourist, central for walking around, etc.) My buddy lives in Trece Martires, so we are not staying with them, they will be coming into the city.
I've reserved three places so far, Diamond Hotel Malate, Makati Diamond Residences, and I'm Hotel Makati.
Which out of those three would be the best place/location?
And any other suggestions for better places/locations would be super helpful as well, thank you.

Just moved to Texas in August. I haven’t changed my ID yet from Louisiana yet. Doing that in January since they are ending car inspections (long story). Wanted to pick up a micro compact while I’m here for cc. To take over for my compact.
Can I even buy one here now? Or do I have to do it in Texas? Kinda feel like I’m in a gray area.
Going to get a Texas LTC when I get my license. So will be easy to deal with in the future.

His name's Larry, great guy. I've worked for him for 10+ years now. He's been a really great friend and mentor. Coincidentally, he's done quite well for himself in the market. Anyway, I asked him "Larry, do you ever remember seeing space stocks back when you were a broker?" He thought for a second and said "No Buy_Ethereum, I don't think I remember them even being a thing up until the past year or two."
So I've been racking my brain over that thought for the past few days, and I finally realized something. Humans have been around for 500,000+ years. And since day one they have been looking up at the stars and trying to figure out how to get there. I think it's just wild that WE are the ones who are here, alive, finally getting to experience this and actually be a part of it by investing in it.
Especially now that NASA has decided to bid their missions out to the public/private sector. They have literally said "We are trying to develop a lunar economy." They said they know there will be failures, but they realize that the only way we are going to go to space is through capitalism. And frankly, we NEED to go to space, not just for capitalistic reasons but for our own survival. It's essential we do it as a species, and it's finally happening.
I just think this is such an exciting time to be alive! I'm proud of you boys for being a part of this. Happy holding 🫡

I know the remote losing contact with the box was an issue a while ago, but thought it was fixed with a past update as I have had no such issues in a long time. But the last few days, the remote keeps bricking. I put brand new Duracells in it, but that did nothing. The only way I seem to be able to get it back on track is by pulling the power plug and rebooting. I've had it since it came out in 2019, and love the performance of the box, but my remote constantly bricking is getting to be a bit much. Any new ideas on fixing this?
