I'm traveling with my girlfriend who's never dived before and looking to get certified. I've already been to Koh Tao a couple years ago for my own diving certification and would like to check out a different island/spot.
Is there another place in southern Thailand that is beginner friendly and about the same price as Koh Tao? Bonus if it has other things besides just diving.

I have been applying for Data Science roles in any industry for three months now in Germany (remote) and Hamburg (on-site and hybrid) without relocation preference, since moving here. Currently, I'm working part-time at a consulting start-up, but as a side second earning. I have experience primarily in the Retail and Electric industries. Despite successfully getting three first-round interviews and advancing to the second round in one, I was ultimately rejected. I'm still actively applying but in the last month, I haven't received any new for interviews invitations, I've revamped my resume, but I still feel it needs further fine-tuning. Does anyone have any advice on what might be missing from my resume that is causing a lack of interview calls, particularly in the working experience and skills section?.
PD: I recently had my residence permit in Germany approved.

What yall recommending now, I’ve got 2 options that I can think of, (I won’t sell konate regardless this gw cuz I got him for 5.3 so price drop doesn’t affect me)
1) go for son and Taylor instead of Bruno and konate(depending on Bruno’s performance today) and rely fully on premiums but then I won’t have any money in the bank
2) Bruno>odegard, konate>temporarily for Gomes/dunk and I’ll have 0.8/1.2 left
3) I was thinking maybe go for Johnson for bruno and Trent for konate, I’ll have like 0.2 left then, I’d love to pick up Gabriel too but he is too expensive and I’d want the third arsenal spot to be free in case smth unforeseen happens

So I got E1S1 Acheron this patch and grinded a lot of jades to try and get her E2 as well but unfortunately lost to Himeko at ~80 pity, but now that I have a guaranteed, are there any upcoming 5 star units that could work well with her?
I don't have Jiaoqiu, Aventurine, Black Swan, Kafka, Sparkle, Robin, or Fu Xuan (only harmony 5 star is Bronya, Nihility is Welt, and Preservation is Gepard). I plan on using E6 Pela with S2 Pearls LC in her team but the other 2 slots are up in the air + I'll need a second Nihility since I couldn't get her E2, are there any upcoming characters (rerunning or new) that'd be good options for E1 Acheron?
(I am slightly torn between getting Firefly as well because I really like her, but leaning towards getting someone optimal for Acheron)

2024.11.29 16:29 Symon_Pude Are such 'Emergency chords' useable?
I'm a guitar beginner, but I do play other instruments, so I have some understanding of music theory, which helps. I deduced a way of fingering major chords (and with slight modification minor chords) and wondered if this is something that is basic and helpful.
I figured since a major chord is tonic, a third and a fifth, one can get all those tones with three strings quite easily. For example, x-2-2-1-x-x would give B-E-G#, which is an E-chord; x-3-3-2-x-x would give C-F-A, which is an F chord (all those chords are in second inversion, with the fifth being the lowest) In some cases it's also possible to add another finger to another fret to add a lower tonic. (e.g. 1-3-3-2-x-x gives also an F chord) But this is a whole lot more difficult to grab.
The nice thing about this to me is that you can basically use the same fingering for any major chord, as long as you stay within the Strings 3-6 and start with the correct fret. Since I guess it can be used as an alternative when you don't know the right fingering for a chord, I dubbed them 'Emergency chords' for myself.
Can an expert tell me whether this is a well known concept or does anyone know examples where this can be used/is used?

While I'm comfortable with the size of the bathroom and the first bedroom, I'm a bit concerned about the living room and kitchen space. The house will ideally be for 2-4 people, and I want to make sure it doesn’t feel cramped. The second floor has plenty of space, but it’s the first floor that I’m unsure about. I’d love to hear your thoughts and suggestions! Note that most of the dimensions record from the outside wall which will be 13 inch thick so you need to factor that it.
