2024.11.29 16:30 RashGambit Stomp to power amp - cab speakers cutting out?
Got a bit of a weird one here.
So chain is guitar directly to stomp, L/R outputs into a Harley Benton Thunder 99 stereo power amp into a 2x12 v30 Harley Benton cab via stereo L/R from the power amp. Stereo switch is turned on at the cab too.
As soon as I turn either the power amp or the stomp volume past a certain way, all volume cuts to the speaker. I imagine this is what happens if your amp doesn't have enough power to drive the speakers? Note: I have also tried using the headphone out into the line in on the power amp, same result.
To troubleshoot, I swapped over to my GX-100 and tried both the same configs as on the stomp. Got the volume up to uncomfortable levels and no cutting out.
What gives? Are we saying that the stomp has more of a power requirement for the speakers than the Boss unit?

2024.11.29 16:30 lizuid “Strawberry tongue” with cough and flu symptoms
I’m 26F and I take Wellbutrin, Ritalin, and Bisoprolol for ADHD and POTs. I have had severe flu like symptoms since Tuesday, vomiting, fever, fatigue, headache, body aches.. I slept for most of Wednesday and Thursday with no improvement. Yesterday I started having a sore throat, occasional cough, and congestion. It feels like the flu but my daughter was tested for Flu on Monday and it was negative, and I believe I got this illness from her. This morning I woke up still feeling awful, like a dried husk and very achey pain, and when I went to brush my teeth I noticed the lower portion of my tongue was bright red and the rest was whitish. There are some small additional patches. I can upload a photo if that helps.
When I googled the tongue thing all that came up was scarlet fever which doesn’t usually present with a cough or congestion. I know I have to see a doctor but I’m wondering if it’s something that can wait for primary care, or if I need to go to ER or Urgent Care.
Any ideas and recommendations would be much appreciated, thank you!
