These threads are always great. Once you've discovered all the cheese and established ways to beat the game easily, what do you do to challenge yourself? What RP ideas do you adopt?
I'm currently doing the following:
- one male recruit has to create a "sisters of battle" style faction to help the holy nation
- CANNOT pay for recruits. Must only rely on free recruits or rescued slaves
- cannot use shops, only bounties, stuff like fog prince heads are fine (thinking of giving up on this, the start becomes way too slow without food)
- always on the move, no grinding - so no setting up in Vain to scavenge beak thing meat if i'm low on food

2024.11.29 16:50 novemberlibrarian Umbilical hernia (not cord)
So my LO (8 weeks) has been battling infant dyschezia since about 2 weeks. As a result of all the straining, grunting and pushing while trying so hard to pass gas and poop, he gave himself an umbilical hernia. His belly button is now a large bulge filled with air that goes back into the abdomen when pressed and comes back up when released.
The paediatrician said that it is nothing to be worried about and that most cases resolve by themselves with age, the rest of them requiring surgery when the child reaches a certain age.
Has anyone else dealt with it? Did it go away by itself? Not looking for medical advice, just anecdotal experiences. I worry about this incessantly.

Here's a build I built pretty fast, and I don't see nothing too wrong with it except maybe the power supply, I think going 700W is a much safer option, and there are better PSU's out there, so let me hear your recommendations, and generally what you think of it. I already have a great SSD for 150 so that allows for improvement on the original build budget.
I think the CPU and GPU will work great, however I don't know how many additional fans I'll require. I believe 3 intake fans in the front, and 1 exhaust fan are relatively okay, because 3 intake fans also largely help the GPU..
I'm also not sure about the case, maybe you have a better recommendation for that, I just picked the Fractal one that already have a couple of fans. Keep in mind I'm not gonna buy all of this now, because this isn't Murica' where most PC part prices are reduced by a HUGE amount, or it's the other way around, Europe prices are skyrocketed, because all im seeing the picked CPU go for is like 450(rare)-550+ euros, and that ain't it.
I am debating whether or not to buy a 4k monitor, but those usually go up to 144 Hz (the ones with reasonable pricings) and the 1440p ones can have way more Hz for the same price, so I'm also torn between those.
