2024.11.29 16:40 sam_n_eric Access docker volumes on host (Windows) now that docker-desktop-data distro has been deleted.
The title says it all, thanks to the kind folks at Docker removing the docker-desktop-data distro, I can no longer access my volumes from Windows. I also had a drive letter mapped to it so I could access the volumes from Ubuntu in WSL.

Hola, community. Cuento que estoy bastante estresada con el trabajo, con poco tiempo para asimilar cosas de mi día a día, viviendo muy a mil, perdiéndome tiempo con seres queridos.
Mis vacaciones recién llegan en enero (lo cual, las necesito tanto). Y en mi día a día, tengo insomnio, no puedo dormir fácilmente. Salgo de trabajar a las 00:30hs. Hasta cenar, atender mi perro y limpiar un poco el depto, ya son las 03am y termino durmiendo a las 05am. Me gustaría acomodar un poco el horario, pero vengo muy despierta del trabajo. A la noche más que nada, solía entrenar. Me gustaría volver a hacerlo, y por otro lado, siento que el horario por la mañana en pleno verano, no me estaría motivando, aunque estoy dispuesta a empezar de todas formas, por salud física y mental.
Para poder dormir, que no sean pastillas (porque es lo que vengo evitando), que me recomiendan?
Probé con tomar té de tilo a la noche y mucho ya no me hace efecto. Hasta hubo un tiempo que temía dormir porque soñaba cosas bastante fuertes y me despertaba con mucho dolor de cabeza. Como mucho duermo 3hs o 4hs. Hay días en los que si recupero el sueño, pero es un solo día cada tanto. Me está afectando a nivel emocional.
Espero recomendaciones. Gracias!

I am 59 & have three main pension funds. One with L&G with £120K, then two with Standard Life. One is old and has about £109k in it. The last is my current one and has £51k in it. I am still working though getting fed up!
My idea is that were I to retire tomorrow, I only need to worry about immediate income for the next 3-5 years. Everything else can afford to go up and down in a higher-risk FTSE tracker fund or two. If it drops for a couple of years, then there is time for it to recover before I need that money.
With that in mind, why not take two of these pension funds and put them to work in low-fee Vanguard tracker funds?
Or should I be more risk-averse than that?
