I'm doing my class 5 road test at the ICBC in clearbrook plaza and im SO NERVOUS cause i feel like i developed a lot of bad habits since getting my N
Any tips? Certain places I should watch out for in that area? What're some common reasons people fail here or in general?
Also, is heads-up display allowed?

My hood latch cable is broken, and the latch is stuck on lock. I can’t even semi open the hood. To make matters worse I don’t have anyone to borrow or anything to make a ramp to even access underneath, I can’t fit. So I’m stuck because I’m trying to put oil in my car because I’m sure it doesn’t have any, and I can’t drive it without fear of my car locking up because of barely oil in it.

i get really emotional and discouraged when i think about my life and how i ended up where i am now. i’m a 23f with nothing, no job, no car, no home, no id, no help. i have only my mom in my life who has two minors to take care of, so when i moved out she got a smaller house enough for them. my dad has been in jail since before the day i was born, and his family never made an effort to be there for me. my grandma helped me growing up as a kid, she would take care of me, take me to school, feed me, etc when my mom couldn’t do it on her own with just me.
growing up i never pushed myself to do anything and i always wanted to do things. i wanted to try soccer, art, music, all these things and whenever i would bring them up with my mom, she constantly shot me down and made me feel discouraged, saying that i never stick to anything and just waste her time and money. so i rarely ever did, because when i did, no one showed up. no one showed up to my awards, no one showed up to my games, no one showed up to my plays. no one showed up to my performances… i always thought about how i wish i could though. how it wouldve helped my socialization skills. how i couldve been so much greater in life if i just knew to push myself. i was encouraged to work at a young age, started at 16. I was going to go to school after high school, but i couldn’t so it while working to pay for my school, i burn out so fast with things that don’t make me 100% happy or that are more difficult for me. now i’m 23, no degree, and can’t get a solid job. moved out of my hometown into a bigger city because it’s the only place i could go. i even danced at clubs for extra money to get me up and out.
i look at everyone in my family thats so well off. 27 year olds with paid off cars, apartments, being able to go on trips. i did have it all once, but i lost it. and now i’m here. stuck at my inlaws house who hate me. barely even a job. i don’t feel well anymore. i cry everyday of my life because i can’t seem to get it together. i feel like not being here any longer. how can i support myself when i was constantly reminded about how i cant stick to something or can’t do anything right…

Hi All,
After a bit of advice regarding parking fines. Car park is shared between residents and a dental practice. Dental practice have recently had UKPC cameras installed. I had to drive a company car for a few days, but forgot to let the dental practice know to register it on their system. I've received 3 parking fines from UKPC, 1 of which I appealed (the others their website wouldn't let me saying I have already appealed, presuming all 3 fines are connected?). They've responded to my appeal and requested additional evidence which I provided. In my response I mentioned that there are a total of 3 parking tickets relating to this and listed the references. This was done through their website and I don't have any screenshots of this conversation.
I have now received a letter from ZZPS debt collectors, requesting £170 for one of the other parking fines (which their website didn't let me appeal). I called them and explained the situation, but they didn't care and said that it will be going to solicitors etc. next week. I have tried calling UKPC directly, but it's impossible to get through to a human, all options take you to an automated response.
I'm still waiting for a response (after I provided requested evidence) on the ticket I appealed.
To make matters worse, since it's a company car, every time they issue a new letter, the leasing company charges us for passing it on.
Should I just pay the £170?

2024.11.29 17:40 totallynotyourmom_ Got the nexplanon implant, my whole harm and hand are swollen, I'm panicking.
Please help me, I got the implant this morning, my whole arm is swollen, including my hand, my hand is notoriously swollen. I went to urgent care after calling urgent care hotline, they told me the compression thing was to tight so they losen it. The problem is, the swelling is still there, no notorious bettering and I'm starting to panic.
Has this happened to anyone, if so how did it went?

I recently learned that the closest thing I had to a boyfriend in high school experienced a pretty publicized family tragedy. I sent condolences to another member of their family, but didn't reach out to them, in fear of creating discomfort. I honestly did not expect to be affected this way. I just hope they're alright.
