Hello, I’ve played console my entire life and have recently decided I am wanting to buy a pc. I just don’t know what to get for anything, I have no knowledge on pc’s prebuilt or parts but would like to build. I’m looking at a range of $1,200-1,500 for the whole setup with my main game being Fortnite most likely. I just need some help figuring out what parts are going to work best.

My brother-in-law wants to get my nephew an Xbox Series S for Christmas. He doesn’t have internet at his house and he doesn’t want him playing online games because he’s addicted to playing Fortnite/Call of Duty when he is at his mother’s house. He only lives a couple of miles from my house, so he would have to come to my house and download games to play at his dad’s. I know this would be terrible too because it’s going to take forever. My brother-in-law hasn’t had a console since the PS3, so I know he doesn’t realize how big games are or how annoying not having internet with it is going to be. My nephew is 8 years old and I don’t want him to be super disappointed. He has a Switch with Animal Crossing, Breath of the Wild, and a handful of other games he doesn’t play because he doesn’t have the attention span after playing such fast paced online games.
Is anybody else in a similar situation? Can anybody suggest games for an 8 year old that are offline when he loves pretty much just playing Fortnite and Call of Duty?

Hey appealers and waiters,
Just thinking I would pass this information along, I spoke with a VERA Rep that shedded light on the appeal and process. I am currently on day 127 and waiting in the queue for a rater.
If your appeal has been remanded by the judge or HLR, there is a huge backlog (as if this wasn’t evident). The remanded appeals are the most delayed because they include the most work to make sure they get it correct this time.
These appeals require more experienced raters to handle the case, so the teams are smaller than the first time claims.
The National Work Queue is only in two locations: Seattle, WA & St. Petersburg, FL.
The only way to jump the queue is through financial hardship.
The holiday season is another factor.
For those of you currently waiting, the good news is that the back pay would be a nice financial bonus. I hope this helps. God Bless 🙏🏾

I've never had back pain issues until this November. My osteopath says that it might be the lumbar support of my chair because the chair is too big (my height is 165cm). I have good posture while sitting and sleeping. I play basketball and I don't have back pain, but when I sit on this chair a few hours my back pain starts to appear. I wonder if someone had the same issue as me. The chair might be too big for me and that is why I'm having back pain issues. What do you think? I like the mesh cushion though that is great for summer. This might be a dumb question since I would think Lightroom/Photoshop should run on a current Intel Core I7 processor, but Adobe says 2GHz is the minimum processor speed. I see gaming laptops with a Core I7 that says CPU speed is 1.5GHz then further says Turbo Boost Speed is up to 5.5 GHz, Performance Cores are 2.1 GHz and Efficient Cores are 1.5 GHz. Can I assume this is fine? I'm a little bothered by the 1.5 GHz being below the 2 recommended by Adobe. Do you have to figure out how get it to run in Turbo mode to work best? I assume a new I7 would be better than my 6 year old I5 that will no longer be supported by Windows after next year, but I have been running Lightroom and Photoshop on it for many years.
