My brother is 63.5 years old, makes 38k a year, and is single. He is finding it hard to get by and has borrowed money from me numerous times. Between rent, auto costs, food, electric, heat. . . it's tough. He is in the process of applying for SS and taking the earnings limit hit knowing he won't get anything until around May. I'm not sure that it's a bad idea since everything he loses is recalculated and will increase his payment (now $1310) at FRA.
Am I missing something? Also he doesnt' think he'll make it past early 70's due to family history and his own medical issues.

My friend is 3 months late on paying rent, she is unemployed living in Kitchener. I visited her today as I am driving her to a few job interviews. The landlord knocked on her door while I was there asking when rent will be paid. My friend explained her situation. Landlord told her the building has the right to deactivate the FOB keys to get in the building if rent is not paid on time again. I didn't think anything of it but in hindsight, I don't think the landlord should have said that.
Through my own research (aka Google, lol), I know that a landlord cannot change the locks. But apparently FOB keys to get in a building are a different story? I sent an email to the Ontario LTB as well on behalf of my friend. How is she supposed to get inside herr unit if she can't get in the building?
Obviously the solution is for her to pay the rent on time, but can anyone shed some light on this before I hear back from the LTB - can a building deactivate FOB keys for a non-paying/late-paying tenant?

Looking for suggestions of new cars that have 2 informational screens. I currently have a 2017 Honda Accord Hybrid and I have the full color touch screen that I use for my Android Auto display and a non-touch screen panel above it, that gives me my radio channel, song info, time and some other stuff.
I have gotten really used to the 2 screen set up but notice that most new cars seem to have only 1 screen. Most look like they have just installed a tablet (of varying sizes back on the mask and model of the car), but none seem to have 2 screens.
Looking to upgrade to some kind of crossover or SUV, but at this point, looking for any new models with the 2 screen set up.

West End Wok has been my favorite Chinese food in STL ever since I moved here back in 2012.
The owner was in there regularly and came to know my husband and me, asked us how the house was going, etc. whenever I went in there. Super nice dude.
I've noticed in the last year or so when I would order from there, he hasn't been in there at all. I noticed around the time I stopped seeing him, I started seeing more "branding" if that makes sense, i.e. their website was overhauled and the staff were all wearing West End Wok t-shirts.
Anyone know if he maybe sold it or stepped back and is letting someone else manage it? I don't know that the quality is necessarily worse, but we don't order as much since we moved a bit further from their store. Google isn't being very helpful, so I thought I'd ask the community. Any info?

Resumindo a maneira que cheguei nesse estádio, no meio pro fim de Outubro eu passei por um término conturbado que me abalou muito, cheguei a ficar um tempo sem comer e dormir.
Só nessa brincadeira todos aqueles que são próximos à mim já estavam me comentando sobre o meu estado físico, me pedindo para procurar ajuda profissional etc e tal.
Quando eu estava começando a voltar a cuidar de mim, eu peguei uma gripe/virose bizarra q me derrubou de novo, muito provavelmente por conta da minha imunidade ter ficado baixa nesse meio tempo. Soq dessa vez é pior, além dos sintomas horripilantes de dor nem água estou conseguindo ingerir direito.
Hoje eu me olhei no espelho e tomei um susto, nunca estive tão magro em toda a minha vida, estou acabado, mal me reconheci naquele reflexo.
Bom, eu só sei que quando estiver apto voltarei à minha rotina de alimentação e exercícios, não quero ver o cadáver ambulante que vi hoje nunca mais.
