2024.11.29 17:40 Affectionate_Seat_35 Should I be concerned about my headache?
18F here. My headache first started when I had a cold about a week ago. This year’s strain made me cough a lot, and towards the end of my cold, I started to feel a pressure in my head, particularly in the top, slightly towards the right. I’ve also had a really bad headache with pain in the back of my right eye that lasted for the entire day about a week ago and I’ve had lasting symptoms since, although not as bad as that day and occurs in spikes that die down after a while.
I don’t have many of the concerning symptoms, but I do feel lightheaded when I walk, a slight “shift” in my vision occasionally, and just being generally tired. I’ve also had a soreness at the base of my neck these few days.
I wouldn’t really call my habits healthy. I go to sleep pretty late, around 2 or 3, but I sometimes make up for it with a nap. I have pretty bad posture when I study, and I also haven’t really exercised since my cold, which lasted for around a month. I don’t drink too much coffee, just one cup (~12 oz) in the morning.

Rylee and Stephen's freestyle is definitely up there for me. As well as Danny and Witney's contemporary. They were both beautiful dances and probably my two favorites overall.
I also really enjoyed Joey and Jenna's halloween dance, as well as Chandler and Brandon's halloween one.
I feel like this season had many entertaining dances.

Or is that even a thing? I’m so over this company. But I don’t really want to put a ton of money out of pocket for a lot of new equipment with a whole new system. Are there any companies that can take over with minimal impact? I have one camera, window sensors, glass break sensor, multiple door locks, and the panel.

In England - So I've recently found out that I haven't being paying my water bill every month like I thought.
I rang our water company a few days ago to have the direct debit details changed, they looked into my account and informed me we actually stopped paying the bill, as the account was automatically closed in March/April 2023. I know it might sound a bit daft that I never noticed this on my bank statements (I'm normally really on the ball with this stuff) and I also don't recall receiving any notification of the account closure.
The property I live in is a new build and I've been the only occupant of the property since I first moved in spring 2022. The company explained that another customer had either rang in or set up a new account online and used our address (claiming to have moved in, but obviously not the case), and as they take this at face value, it triggered their automatic protocols and shut down my account.
When I set up our water with them, I know I gave our address correctly as we received a couple of letters about plumbing insurance. When I rang them a few days ago and checked my online account with them for the first time in ever, our address was different. Not completely different to the correct address, but the formatting was wrong and the address it was changed to didn't exist.
They claimed this other customer had their address corrected on their account in April 2023, which to me, makes even less sense why our account was closed! I also received a refund after the account was closed of £260+ but didn't realise this either. So now they say I have an outstanding bill of £750, and technically owe them from when the account was first opened with them in spring 2022 to the last meter reading in August 2024.
I spoke with the company again today to raise some questions. I asked why we were refunded at all, given they were bill payments? The adviser explained the refund was the amount that the account was in credit, therefore, they couldn't keep the money once the account was closed. This makes no sense to me, as why would we owe them 2 years-ish of bills, is some of the account was in credit?! They couldn't explain it.
I also feel that our account shouldn't have been able to be completely closed by a mistaken enquiry. I think someone messed up here and someone 'moving in' to our property and us 'moving out', should have been verified before being confirmed and allowed. They claim they notified us of the account closure when a PDF bill was issued on the account in 2023... which again.. just seems like a subpar excuse.

I’ve now requested to follow their formal complaints procedure to have this properly investigated and plan to escalate too OFWAT if needed. Do I have a leg to stand on here? What's the likelihood of them agreeing to reduce some of the bill / could some or all of this be written off?

I have a brother who is overseas, and I have no idea what to do, if I even can do anything. He "loses" his phone all the time and goes AWOL, and scares the crap out of my mother, because it'll be months before we get a random text/call/email usually stating that 'things are good and just living the life' We don't know what he's on or how badly: we do know that he's not wanting help, but we know he's using and using hard stuff. He's gotten into bad fights and we got told he tried to kill himself byt also got told that he didn't. We don't know what is going on and it sucks even more when you can't even find where he is. I'm so scared that we're going to get a call saying that he's dead and I don't think I could handle it. Even though I'm so scared, I also feel like we've lost him already. I can't keep watching my mother go through this time and time again hoping and praying that he's alive somewhere, it's killing me

Hello, Looking for help. My wife wants our pond pump to work. Full disclosure: I am not knowledgeable about solar set-ups. Current set-up purchased from discount pond shop. Inverter: Salmac 600watt 24 VDC 120 VAC output. Pump is a Matala MPC-60. We have two DC55-12 deep cycle batteries and 3 200W solar panels charging it. The panels keep the batteries charged and everything works for a while, but once a season the inverter stops working. My suspicion is that the inverter is undersized. The Mátala info says it draws 339watts. Trying to get this for my wife for Xmas. She bought the system from Discount Pond Shop and they replaced the inverter once, but with the same model. I have an older disabled aunt who is not comfortable using cups or discs. She is in her mid forties so hopes she doesn't have to deal with it much longer. I got her some underwear but she still trusts pads more. Are there reusable pads that anyone can recommend? Other products you'd suggest for anyone to stock up on? I personally like the Flex Cup which has a release since my doctor warned me a regular cup could pull out my iud.
