I've posted here before, but I'm an event planner (@nightalliancemi on Instagram) looking for more venues in Greater Lansing to plan entertainment events - think live music, DJ nights, karaoke, and more.
If you own or manage a restaurant, bar, community space, etc. and would like to host some events to generate revenue and bring in new crowds, please comment below!! Please do not suggest places that you don't have any personal/professional connection to. I'm also cool with working with house venues!
I'm already in contact with Lansing Shuffle, Altu's, The Avenue, Lansing Makers Network, and The Fledge. However, I'm looking for more options, as not everyone in this list is available to plan things right now.

I got a call from Stafford Group about a complaint against me, claiming they wanted to resolve it. I’d never heard of them before, and when the receptionist transferred me to a supervisor, they didn’t include the typical “this is an attempt to collect a debt” disclaimer. The supervisor mentioned it was about a loan from 2019 with Zoca Loans, which doesn’t show up on my credit report. I’ve used Zoca Loans in the past but can’t remember if I fully repaid this one. When I asked for a copy of the original contract, they said Zoca didn’t provide it to them and that I could only get it if I went to court, which would add court fees. Isn’t this against the law? Isn’t the creditor required to provide the original contract to sell a debt they claim I owe?

Wtf happened? A new director or something? I originally watched the show 3 years ago and loved it. I did a rewatch all of yesterday before beginning S1, still really good! Now I’m on the 4th episode of Season 2 and the show took a complete 180 (in a bad way). Half the original cast is replaced and have WAY less aura than S1. The pacing is worse too impatient. Super disappointing!

I'm looking to buy a 65 inch TV for watching movies. I'm looking between the TCL Q651G ($600 CAD) and TCL QM751G ($1000 CAD).
I'm not super picky about TVs and only need it for streaming movies on Netflix, Crave, Disney+, etc. I'd prefer to buy something less than $1k so I'm leaning towards the TCL Q651G but I've heard its not as good as the QM7.
What are peoples thoughts on either tv? Or are there any other TVs out there that are better quality?
