I always thought asexuality was super normal growing up (not that I have it much thought). I never thought sex had to be apart of a relationship in order for it to run smoothly. When growing up not knowing the word asexual, I thought of it like celibacy and abstinence. I was actually surprised how looked down upon asexuality is… it’s probably because I grew up religiously with abstinence well taught. Did anyone else think this way to?

Hey everyone! I wanted to share my tattoo removal experience in case it helps anyone feeling frustrated. I’m two years in now, and while progress has been slow, I’ve learned a lot.
In the beginning, I was really discouraged. I could still see the tattoo halfway through, and people would comment, especially when I had bandages on it. Living in a hot climate made it even more frustrating. Early on, it takes time for your body to adjust to the laser, and there’s a lot of ink to remove, so results aren’t as noticeable. This can make you feel like it’s not working.
One tip: take regular photos! It’s easy to miss progress day-to-day, but looking back at photos helps you see how far you’ve come.
After two years, I’ve become more patient. I don’t care about comments anymore, and I feel confident I’m moving in the right direction.
Also, don’t just choose a place based on price. If possible, go to a dermatologist for tattoo removal. They might be as affordable, or even cheaper, than places like Removery, and you’ll get better results with more experienced professionals.
Stay patient, track your progress, and take care of yourself—you’ve got this!
