2024.11.29 17:36 JamesTiberiusChirp knock-off flanges for wearables (Elvie, Momcozy s12, Willow Go) -- do they work? Which ones?
My LC says I need a size 12mm flange. I also really want to buy a wearable pump, as it breaks my heart when my babe cries and I can't soothe or hold them because I'm tied to my spectra. I also want to be able to multitask, and go on a walk while wearing a wearable. But the wearable brands only go down to a size 15mm flange, so if I'm going to get the right size, I need to buy knockoff flange inserts. I've heard some of these pumps are extremely picky about everything needing to fit together exactly right to work properly. Are knockoff flanges going to be a problem? If you have used them, what brands work with these pumps? I'm currently torn between the momcozy s12 pro and the elvie (not the stride), though would consider others.
I've been using 15mm on my spectra, though my LC says it's still too big, so maybe in a pinch it would be ok to use a non-knockoff 15mm in the wearable as long as it's not my main pump, but it would be nice to have flexibility if I end up preferring the wearable. 9 If anyone wants to throw their advice/review in on the regular (not stride) Elvie vs Momcozy s12 pro as a bonus, I'm mostly deciding between those two. Can you wear a momcozy s12 pro under a winter jacket? Which is quieter? Can I go for walks easily or would they leak?

 | So yeah I tried to fruit one of my cakes, I wasnât particularly happy with it but at least it didnât show contamination, as the other ones did ^ smell when I opened the jar was as it should be, now it doesnât smell at all I think. I changed to fruiting conditions like 4-5 days ago. The cake also broke while trying to get it out of the jar - next time Iâll use wide mouth jarsđ”âđ« What concerns me is there is like some new myc growth. I dunked and rolled it. The new growth can be seen on first picture on bottom right. I brined my Thanksgiving turkey in buttermilk for a day and a half. Dried it off then injected it with Tony Chacheries then sprinkled on a rub of salt, pepper, garlic and lots of paprika . Left it uncovered in the fridge overnight and deep fried it for Thanksgiving. It was by far the best turkey Iâve ever had in my 69 years!

2024.11.29 17:36 BlueDucklingFluff AITA for not wanting my in-laws to hijack every break?
I will preface this by saying that I am on the autism spectrum and very introverted. I have a job that requires me to talk and interact with people all day so by the time I come home I am mentally exhausted. When I get home I have to make dinner and get my kids to their various activities. My spouse does not get home from work until around 6 pm. They help when they can with the kids.
My in laws live fairly nearby, while my parents live in another state. My MIL is not a monster-in-law like I read in other stories but she is very manipulative. She never asks straight out for something but goes about it in a backwards manipulative way, which irritates me to no end. She has absolutely no life outside her family. No hobbies, no clubs, is retired and always bored. So she wants to spend every weekend and holiday with us. Holidays I understand but I am so drained every weekend from my interactions during the week and I spend the weekend catching up on laundry and recharging. My in laws will always have an excuse to pop by. They used to just show up but at least now call in the morning and say something like âwe have an errand in your neighborhood and will stop by afterwardsâ. There is no time given so we frantically clean house and then sit around waiting for them to show up. My spouse was raised in this lifestyle and sees nothing wrong with it. He will occasionally tell them no when we have plans, and will sometimes take the kids to their house instead so I get a break. He did put his foot down on it years ago and they stopped just showing up unannounced. I donât always do well with the social norms and I know how his family pretty much lived at his grandmaâs house growing up and his mom has that reference. She makes snarky remarks about me not wanting to see them or how my parents get to spend more time with the kids than she does (absolutely not true as my parents see the kids about 2-3 times a year). She is never content. Everyone gives in to her so they donât have to deal with her passive aggressive attitude. So AITA for complaining about them always encroaching on my breaks? My spouse told me I was after I told him I didnât want them coming over this weekend. We were just at their house for 6 hours for Thanksgiving and I would like to spend tomorrow cleaning and decorating for Christmas. I may be missing something, though, due to my introverted nature.

Hi everyone, would appreciate your assistance in investigating the type of parasite my quails are bearing.
The outbreak started when I had found a wild roaming common quail and didn't properly quarantine him.
1 parasite is found in at least every dropping appears to be pinkish coloured with a black head.
Any help would be of assistance as I would prefer to treat them with a targeted dewormer then a general one. ( Also any treatment options would be sublime )

My university is threatening to turn over my account to collections due to a misunderstanding with the expectancy of a former employer covering all cost. I was given a deadline of 11/30 to may a payment in full, but when I logged into the system (11/29/24), the payment portal does not show a balance or allow me to pay anything. It seems the financial office has closed for the holiday, and while I have the money to pay off the account, the system will not allow me. Given this account will likely be turned over to collections now, if I am able to pay the debt off, show documentation of my outreach attempts and the blocked payment portal with todayâs timestamps, is there any hope this will be could be removed from my credit history?

Is there any people who can figure out if i actually have vertigo or brain cancer? So this started for like 1 year ago if not a half year ago. Itâs causing my daily basis and i canât walk properly or stand perfectly without this effect coming into my brain and eyes and it feels like i am going to faint or something. Some people online just say weird stuff and I donât know if itâs true which is i have done som research on it to and getting the same answers as âvertigoâ or âbraincancerâ which i am afraid of. And now you you might wondering why the hell donât you go to a doctor. Well because i donât have money for it. I am going back to my country soon for a check at the hospital but what worries me so much is that itâs so much pain and Itâs so hard to handle that much of a pain. Now back to the question. Have anyone had this issues before this âvertigoâ thing? I donât feel like vomitting but eating less per day because the situation is really difficult right now.
