I have a Keylab 88 midi controller.
I have pianoteq 8.
I have an audient ID14, a pair of Sennhauser head phones. a pair of Yorkville 8" monitors.
I'm trying to use OcenAudio to make a recording of a piece I composed.
I can adjust volumes in the ID14 mixer app so my loudest parts are at about -6 db.
I can get the desired effect in my earphone just fine.
I can check the wave form on OcenAudio. I'm not clipping.
24 or 32 bit makes no difference. 44, 48, 88, or 96 Kb/s seems to make no difference.
But if I play it back, it comes across as muddy. It doesn't have the sharp clarity that I heard in my headphones when I made it.
I'm working on a Mac Pro 2012 with 12 3.33Ghz procesors, 96 GB ram, 2 solid state drives. It's not like there isn't enough compute power.
So:
* Single instrument.
* No effects.
Keyboard -> Computer -> Audient -> headphones/speaker works.
Keyboard -> Computer -> OcenAudio -> Recording.
followed by
Recording -> Ocenaudio -> Audient > headphones/speaker
is muddy.
Is this a problem with ocenaudio?

And where do I go from here? I’ve never been so disturbed watching a show in my life. I still can’t process it. I can’t even bring myself to turn anything else on bc Im just sitting here thinking “what in the fuck”. Thinking back on the first season, I would’ve never guessed it could get THAT dark and miserable. I’m happy for Dylan and Emma and just heartbroken for everybody else. Truly an amazing series. Bravo

Not sure how they'd integrate into x4's combat but I really miss the missile frigates from x3. I like to think the premise would be relatively sound. They could be modified destroyers with torpedos in place of main cannons, and limited to seeker turret options but have a missile cargo of several hundred.

Hello there
I wanted to put some LED strip around the Big windows which are in front of store. I would like the strip to be inside so i wouldnt have to get weatherproof or have to worry about extreme temperature. I have One large window with two big Glasses and small aluminum frame in middle. So two boxes side by side. Each are 5 ft high and 7.5 ft long so with 2 windows perimeter is 50 ft. I was initial planning to get 5050 SMD store front light from vevor, but I'm now trying to get brightest and best type of light. I wanted to have colorful so Plain whites are out of question. After tons of research, its clear that best way to do is get power supply, controller and LED strip separately (hopefully from same place) instead of getting crap from amazon. They are so cheap but not bright at all. So help me out if you have any suggestion on 50 ft long project. (1) should i get one 50 ft led strip with one controller and one power supply but i can do it a way so led gets power from both ends? (2) two separated strips with its own controller and power supply. here i cant find anything thats 25 ft long each, i would have to get 32 ft and cut it (3) three 16 ft and put in series with power on both end?

Me and my boyfriend have been dating for 2 years, we met online, but now we fly to see each other regularly. In the beginning of our relationship he made clear how he didn’t want me to make new guy friends my age that would be a “threat”, and so I agreed and told him the same. 5 months after we started dating he met a bisexual girl that was underage through his girl friend. Then they began texting each other and now they are friends and talk almost everyday. At first I was confused on why he got a girl friend because he told me not to get guy friends, and then claims that she’s not a threat for 2 reasons: bisexual and underage (at the time). She is now 19. 2 years ago, he mentioned how he would send a silly gif to the girl constantly as an inside joke and I didn’t care, and 3 months ago, after I asked him about it again, he told me that he kept it going and he has been having this “streak” (his words, not mine) for almost two years. I told him how I felt about, how I wasn’t a fan of it, especially because he told me I couldn’t have a Snapchat streak with his (6 year) friend (that’s not a threat in any way and himself doesn’t care if I talk to him(the friended asked me to do streams with him, not me)). I explained to him how I stopped my streak because he wasn’t comfortable, and made up excuses of why I was stopping to his friend. My boyfriend hasn’t stopped his own “streak” even knowing I’m uncomfortable. He got really defensive, said how I wanted to ruin something fun and innocent that he thought was cool, and still hasn’t stopped it. My issue isn’t that I’m not part of it, I simply don’t like it. He sends a gif and then tons of messages celebrating it, saying how is party time and checking if she took her vitamins, I remember when I was at his house and he would go somewhere else to text her this. This has made me feel distant from him and not be so “ crazy in love” let’s say, because when I talk about what I’m not comfortable with, he keeps doing it, shows that he doesn’t care what I think or feel. He says how he feels controlled and trapped and how I only have problems with girls. I know he wouldn’t be doing this with a man, that’s for sure. He said how he realized he did it so much that he didn’t want it to end and how it’s a “him thing”, how he would’ve done it with anyone, and not because it’s her. I asked him why he never told me about it and he said he thought I wouldn’t care (when I told him in the beginning when we first met that I was a jealous person). Sometimes I think about this and I think how silly it is, because she’s also from another country and they only talk online, but sometimes it truly bothers me that he doesn’t care how it makes me feel. To make things clear, I trust my boyfriend that he wouldn’t cheat on me, I know nothing will happen between them.

Flying from DC to Capetown South Africa direct flight and am a very nervous flyer. Flight is about 15 hours and everything I’ve heard is we just need to do the direct no layovers.
Two questions:
- I get prescribed Xanax for flying already but those seem to be short duration. Does anyone have experience with an actual sleeping medication. Should I talk with my doctor about a sleeping aide or is the Xanax going to basically do the same thing.
- In regards to the medication, is it any worth in buying a premium economy seat for a united flight. Price difference: is like 1,300 for economy and 3,500 for premium economy. I’m a taller guy about 6’4. Would also buy my girlfriend, a premium Econ seat so double the above price.

Hi Everyone, my son is 2 weeks shy of being 2 year old but is not yet speaking. He says mama and papa but not as 2 clear syllables but as papapapa and mamama. He at times pick up some words (with their meaning), like he used to say boberry for blue berry or dudu for milk, but then stops it in a day or two or week. My husband is worried about he has autism, besides speech delay, he is also a very active child, he loves running when taken to open spaces, can sit for long though when his favourite cartoon is played. He makes eye contact, responds to his name and have beautiful social smile from early age. The eye contact/response to his name is however not always, like when watching TV, playing a game he really likes. At such time we have to call his name multiple time to get his attention. Aslo, whilel his expressive language is delayed, he comprehends our language pretty well. He does point to things he wants, but before he started pointing, he used to take our hand to the object / place he will wanted. Still at times does a mixture of sometime pointing and something taking our hand. He is not a picky eater, eats everything that is offered. He had sleep issues always, which we have largely attributes to teething (his teeth starting erupting early and have been very painful) and blocked nose most of the times. He prefers interacting with older age kids than kids his own age. With kids his own age, he plays on his own. My husband thinks he is also stimming - he has recently started doing this continuous grunting noise when he is excited while we take him out for play. Certain hand gestures. Now everything I lood in my son has started confusing me as autism symptoms. I tried taking m-chat r test but is has yes/no questions, as you would have noticed my son does both the variation of some asks. The score was 6 with medium risk. Just worried it it's really autism or are we being anxious parents. Please share your thoughts and experiences. P.S : we have an appointment booked with developmental pediatrician, but it will take weeks before we get our turn
