2024.11.29 18:50 Traditional_Ebb_5441 Oil leak through exhaust stud
Hey everyone 18 WRX Base about 80k miles
Recently I’ve been smelling some burning oil in the cabin, went to look underneath and noticed the oil dripping from drivers side rear exhaust manifold stud and then dripping onto the downpipe.
I took it to a mechanic here in San Diego and from what he says, it’s a cracked head from the stud being drilled in too far from the factory and cracking over time, I’m second owner and as far as I know the manifold hasn’t been removed, I’m new to Subarus but I’m just wondering if this is something anyone else has come across before? He’s saying a cheap temporary repair would be to pull the stud and Hi temp silicone it to stop the leak if possible, but may require a new head if that doesn’t work. Any ideas thanks!

I have no idea what's going on. I got a weird popup when I opened whatsapp on my phone, something about a verification code was requested but no way to say I didn't actually request that, so I had to go all the way through the verification process which then made me reset my account entirely and removed me from all of my group chats which is a huge problem. What is this? Is there anything I can do to fix it?

 | Yesterday afternoon after having Thanksgiving dinner my son and I went for a drive through the canyons of the Texas hill country, and a doe crossed the road a little ways ahead of me. I slowed down in case another one came running out. As I got closer a BIG ASS BUCK stepped out, and just before my car passed him he took off like a missile and rammed the hell out of the driver’s side door. He hit it hard enough that the door is jammed shut and I had to crawl out of the passenger side. I seriously thought he was going to come through the window until he put his head down to ram me as he got closer. Anybody here with high demand babies??… I’m a first time mom. My son is 12 weeks now and he was an excessive crier since he was born. At first I thought it was colic but now after everything we’ve tried and nothing really helped much I’ve started thinking that he is a high demand baby. After trying hypoallergenic formula, reflux medicine, gas medicine, massages, chiropractor, his fussiness still there. He definitely cries more than the average. We can’t take him anywhere cuz he will start getting fussy and crying. He can’t remain calm for long periods. He won’t take pacifiers, baby carriers, swings, car seat (can be a hit or miss)… He might chill for about 20-30 minutes and after that out of nowhere he starts getting fussy again. He follows me with his eyes and gives me some smiles when he is chillin but after that it’s just fussiness and crying all day!! Warm shower, bouncing or loud sounds are the only things that really seems to help but bouncing all the time it’s exhausting!!
My nephew is just 5 weeks older than my baby and he is the total opposite (never cries or we’ll just when he has a need) and I have to admit that I feel jealous when I see him because my baby would never remain that calm.
Does this sounds like a “high demand” baby or am I just exaggerating? Please give me some advices, sometimes I just feel like losing my mind!!

hey so just wondering i have this issue its kinda slight most people wouldnt notice it, this only started like 3 months ago where if i flipped a gun or saved it the ragdoll physics would be more stiff when it shoots someone compared to when you just spawn it in, the only mod i have that effects ragdolls is the ragdoll enhancement mod that came out not that long ago just wondering if anyone is experiencing the same thing
