"Get onto the train" does not sound natural to me if you mean a passenger and a passenger train. "Get on the train" does. Edit: I have found many examples using "onto" using a book search, so I'm wrong ... Choo, chug and chuff are onomatopoeic words for the sound a steam train makes. In BE, choo-choo and (less commonly) chuff-chuff are onomatopoeic words for "train" (or more specifically, the engine) - they are used when speaking to very young children and thus, by very young children. Curious if hiring a porter is a wonderful splurge or just awkward - I’m hiking it solo in December, staying in a mix of Refugios and camping. I’m curious if anyone has done it and if you eat with your porter or hike with them (which to me does not sound like what I’m going for on a solo trek). I’ve done a lot of backpacking so I’m fine carrying on my own, more a question of would I enjoy more or be faster if I could offload some gear.

Obviously it’s a dramatized story but some of the driving trips, especially on Narcos: Mexico are ridiculously long in real life and not connected by a major highway system especially in 1980s Colombia and Mexico. Like when Felix DROVE from Guadalajara to El Paso. The craziest one is when Felix and Isabela get kidnapped leaving Cali and driven all the way to Medellin and they all get out like it’s a 45 minute trip. It’s 9 hours! Through mountains, and some roads are unpaved!

Oil change made a huge difference The first year from the factory she was getting an average of 26mpg on a straight shot up the highway for work every day. I changed the oil at 5,500 miles, and for the last 2,000miles ive been getting 30.4mpg up and down the mountains of TN.
