2024.11.29 18:40 katto Itinerary and private day tours recommendations
I will be visiting Iceland for a very short time at the end of April (2 nights) and I want to make the most of it. I will be travelling with my cousin who has MS, so we want to be able to do things on our own time / schedule and are therefore looking for private tours.
I am overwhelmed with the shear number of tours offered. I don't really want to do a patchwork of tours because it seems to become very complicated, so I am trying to find a company that can do it all.
Really, we are looking for a company that can pick us up at KEF and give us an overview of the city before checking (or after) into our hotel (Apotek, good choice?). We get there late pm on the 29th, so, that seems to be the best option to not tire my cousin too much. The 30th, we want to do a full day Golden Circle tour with a few extra things (like the Kerid crater, see horses). Then, on the day of departure, May 1st (our flight leaves at 5pm), we want to explore the city by foot (my cousin can walk for a bit, with breaks in between) and check out food, shops, cats (maybe by car with a guide) and then get driven back to KEF.
Does anyone have a good company that I can contact for this? There seems to be a lot of separate day tours or small tours and transfers out there, but if I can get one company / tour guide to do everything, it seems like the best solution. To add to the confusion, a lot of the tours offered that I see online seem to be offered through a 3rd party, so it is hard to know what quality of tour will be offered. Any suggestions? Thanks!

the laptop itself is ice cold and when i turned the laptop on the fans went to max immediately and slowly died down over the period of around 30 seconds, is this a problem with sleep mode or an hardware issue.

Are there polygamist families with one husband and multiple wives living together in an all-adult household? I feel that the Browns had two counts against them and their polygamous lifestyle. First, was Robyn joining the family and throwing everything out of balance. Second, it seemed like the kids getting older, requiring less parental involvement, and moving away removed a big incentive for the women to continue to work and live together.

I recently quit smoking weed on November 27th 2024 and was wondering if anybody else had these symptoms when they quit when I first wake up it feels like I'm in a dream but I guess that's because I'm not use to the sober feeling I smoked every hour of every day since I was like 9 and now I'm 20 and quitting it's been almost 2 days since I quit and my stomach constantly hurts I feel sick like I need to vomit all the time and I'm tired non stop I've slept almost all day one day and all night and will still feel tired my dreams are also really weird my appetite comes and goes the moment I go to eat I feel sick I was just wondering is there something wrong with me or is this normal?

I'm talking like 5 times my hourly wage for having to go out of my way, deal with the stress of the dealership, spend my own free time dealing with a mistake the automaker should not have made to begin with. Why should I be out the most valuable resource one can have in this life (time) because the automaker was lazy with their engineering and made an oversight? Unacceptable. Every victim of a safety recall should be paid $150, minimum, simply for the inconvenience of the egregious act. "But muh PROFITTTTTSSSSS!" Well, fuck off, my time is more important than your profits.

2024.11.29 18:40 scubanarc Ollama unloads and reloads the same model when hit from different processes on different endpoints, even though both request the same model.
I have a docker instance of Ollama running, and the only model in the models directory is llama3.2:latest.
I hit the API and tell it to load llama3.2:latest with a duration of -1 (never unload). Then I hit the /api/generate endpoint and everything works great. The already loaded model is used and the response is fast.
Later, a different process hits the /api/chat endpoint, requesting the exact same model name, and Ollama unloads then reloads the model.
Is it because of the different endpoint? How do I tell Ollama to only load that one model and keep it loaded?

2024.11.29 18:40 PeanutMcGoo I couldn’t run for 60 seconds in May of this year…
Started running in May of this year, took me a month to be able to jog a kilometre but for some reason I stuck with it. Now I can even run the mountain climbs (on good days at least, ha ha). This November I ran a hundred miles, and enjoyed most of it. Thanks to this sub for providing a sense of camaraderie and motivation while I lurked!!!

I cant seem to book a flight from KUL-LGK (or any flight for that matter) from batikair.com. I get a "network error" and it spins. I tried from my iphone and 2 other computers and same issue.
On the iphone you get a different error "Booking error, Please search again". When i use google flights i can find flights and can book thru 3rd party vendors, trip.com, brovofly, etc. But i prefer to directly book through the airlines. Anyone else seen this issue. I tired to email no response.
