My friend applied through a recruitment agency and was verbally informed within two weeks that he had been selected for the role. The recruiter mentioned it would take about two weeks to issue the offer letter, as the company is undergoing a reorganization and the role will be a new role as the result of the reorganization. They explained that they hadn’t anticipated closing the role so quickly but wanted to secure my friend’s interest in case he was actively looking or received another offer.
After two weeks, the recruiter forwarded a message from the company’s HR director, stating: "We anticipate releasing the offer letter by the end of next week. Thank you for maintaining his interest in the meantime."
In the third week, the recruiter shared an update saying: "The process is still underway but is taking longer than expected due to outstanding internal approvals. We aim to extend the offer by next week."
It’s now the fourth week, nearly Friday, and there’s still no update. My friend is concerned about whether he is being ghosted. The company is a large automotive company based in Germany (30K+ employees), and approvals are handled by their HQ.

Hi, earlier this year I had my car clamped as I didn't realise my tax had run out - I assumed the direct debit rolled over but it didn't. It was only untaxed for a few weeks, the DVLA clamped it & I paid to have it un-clamped immediately after taking out new tax on it.
Today, I have received a letter from HMCTS saying I have a £300 fine due to the owning of an unlicensed vehicle. I've never received a letter prior to this one warning me of any unpaid fine & upon looking into it, the fine is from having the car with no tax.
My question is if this is correct - I already paid the DVLA when the car was clamped & at no point did anyone tell me of any other fine I needed to pay. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm in England.

I am posting here because I am desperately trying to figure out what to do and most don't understand ENM. Found out my committed boyfriend of 8 years was cheating. Our backstory: he was a swinger who introduced me to Lifestyle. I love the sexual energy of Lifestyle but he tried to make me into something I am not which caused a lot of issues at the start of our relationship including broken boundaries etc. I am NOT a swinger and due to a LOT of past trauma the idea of sharing him with other women is NOT acceptable to me. He knew that, was okay with it and we settled onto a Stag/Vixen dynamic which has worked out very well for us.
Our relationship hit a standard rough spot this year with lack of communication, etc. I thought we were working through it (at least I was was trying to work through it). That's when he went onto dating apps.
Found out in September about a casual hook up he started. Actually caught him in October. He says she flirted, he loved the attention and things happened. I thought that was the end of it.
Found out 3 weeks ago he was "dating" a unicorn on the side since April (2 days a week for freaking 6 months) which allowed him to go back to threesomes and swapping, etc. SHE didn't know about me and when I caught him, she dumped him immediately. I realized that - why did he have to work on our relationship when he had her on the side?
So now he is left with just me again.
Our sex life has always been a nothing-off-of-the-table amazing dynamic. Neither of us had ever had a partner who was so perfect for each other down to kinks and everything. I love the stag/vixen dynamic but have always insisted that it could only work if we were solid in our relationship. WE come first.
He's always insisted that what we have is perfect yet I've always feared he would miss swinging. He says now that it was all meaningless, he loved the chase and attention and what really matters is what we have. I am not convinced. He knew my hard line and intentionally broke it.
I don't care if you are Lifestyle or not, cheating is cheating. I am so pissed that he chose to break the ONE rule I had instead of working on the relationship. Finding someone this compatible is hard and so I am struggling with whether to stay or not.
Am I fooling myself in thinking he can go back to our dynamic now that he's had the other again on the side?

After grad, I started looking for a job as hr recruiter (ito talaga focus ko) or kahit ano basta alam kong kaya kong gawin, pero until now I still haven't been able to land a job, almost 5 months na rin :(( Ang inaalala ko baka maging bad impression na sa mga recruiters kapag umabot ako ng half a year or a year and still applying pa rin para sa first job ko.
If I'm being honest, medyo nakakapanghina at nakakatamad na kasi lagi na lang "keep your lines open" tapos maski rejection letter wala man lang akong natatanggap which is super nakakainis sa mga nag rerecruit.
If you’re also a psych graduate, did you stay in this field? If yes, what kind of job were you able to land? And if not, where did you shift to?
