I, F(19), have a coworker, F(18), who often smokes before she comes into work.
We work at a family-owned grocery store in a small town we both live in. I have been there for almost 18 months now, versus her two or three months. I’m a cashier and she’s a stockecarryout person so she’s supposed to always be doing something.
Now, I wouldn’t mind her smoking before work because she at least doesn’t smell of it. But, she doesn’t hide it at all. She has told me multiple times when she comes in (around people as well) that she has the munchies. She will come in with red eyes and yknow, obviously be acting high.
She has even gotten to the point where she has asked me and another cashier, including our manager, for $5 to get some food (without mentioning she smoked). I have nothing against people who smoke, it used to be my whole friend group, but at least do your job right and fast if you’re going to.
It makes her slow, walk slow, bag slow, take stuff out slow, and often enough she’ll just stand at the register and stare into the distance (while also getting into customers way).
I know of a girl who has been fired because of the exact same reason, and I don’t want this to happen to her too.

Hi,
I'm in need of help for a new pc build. I thought someone here might be able to help:

Basically the Mainboard is struggling to boot up. It takes 1-3 tries of loudly powering up.
I've already disconnected or rearranged the RAM, GPU and tried out a different better PSU with no change. I suspect the Mainboard does not support the CPU but as per ASUS specifications it should have support since one of the later patches. It's up to date 11/2024
I'd rather not have to switch to another board and find out the CPU was defect all along. Does anyone know what's wrong?

There is no official notebook but there is a game called Scribble in the device that does the same thing but has less functions since its just a game to draw/write but for me it works. My only huge downside on not having official Notebook is because im an artist and i wanted the storyboard paper sample the kobo libra color has 😭. As many of you know, Minnesota Rep and one Presidential candidate played The Campaign Trail and was said to have really enjoyed it. Back in March, I got the Mayor of Ottawa, Canada, Mark Sutcliffe to play the Campaign Trail while he was in the green room of the TV station I work at right before he did an interview. He enjoyed it as well.
I think it's really cool that we in the CTC community got a couple of politicians to play The Campaign Trail. That's why I think as a way to market and promote the game, we should try to get more politicians to play it and maybe even film a little video of them endorsing it. For example, "I'm Dean Phillips, Congressman from Minnesota and one time presidential candidate, and I loved playing The Campaign Trail Game. You should give it a try!" I think doing this would energize our community, maybe even attract more followers, and also get people engage in elections and politics.
The politicians we get to try the game don't have to be high profile people either. It could even be a city councillor or county official, as long as they were elected to their office by a vote of the people. With that said and with the job I'm in, my goal is to get Pierre Poilievre to try the game and endorse it. He's been through the TV station I work at a few times.
