How bad is the CARB legal tune that comes with the Whipple kits? I've done some searching online and found some old posts from many years ago saying it's a trash tune that does not drive smooth and you should definitely get it professionally tuned after. Does anyone know if the tune has been updated by Whipple in recent years at all? Is anyone currently driving around on the tune that comes from Whipple with their kits?
I'm planning to do a Whipple on my SS and wanted to keep it all CARB legal for less headaches, but if the tune is that bad I guess I could just have 2 tune files, and switch it back to the Whipple carb tune when smog time comes around, drive it with the carb tune for a few days so all the emissions checks in the tune get cleared out, then flash the professional tune back onto it once the smog is done. Or worst come to worst have a guy i know pass it for me, but I don't want to rely solely on that because he charges ALOT to do that and the option of having someone pass it will not always be around.

Last year I naively dated a guy who was separated but not divorced. He at least seemed really into me. I woke up this morning thinking about how loved and desired he made me feel, how he thought my O-faces were beautiful, about the time he stopped and looked at me and told me how I was the embodiment of his sexual fantasies, the feeling of deep emotional as an as physical intimacy. All the while for 6 months me swore up and down that he wasn't attracted to his ex anymore, that they hadn't had sex in years, that she was exploring a non-binary gender identity whole he preferred "more traditional feminine performance". I shrugged my shoulders and said, "You know it is what it is". I know other people whose partners underwent some gendesexuality transition and one been imagine how it can blow up a relationship.
Then all of a sudden he went back to his wife. She (or I guess They) invited him over for dinner, came on to him and within 48 hours he broke up with me almost giddy with anticipation after having not had sex with her in literally years.
I feel like it renders everything be said and did a great big lie and this is what hurts the most. I find that I really am having a hard time completely getting past this. Was he actively trying to reconcile with her the whole time (he hung out with her regularly "as friends". I made an active effort to believe him and despite this sounding off. Mutual friends vouched for the state of his marriage and for his character. I made excuses around his inexperience with relationships (they met in college and his wife was his first everything and they'd been together for nearly 20 years, married nearly 15. I was literally the 2nd person with whom he'd had a sustained adult sexual relationship in his entire life. I tried various ways to tell him he can't be friends with his ex - especially so soon after - but he didn't really believe me).
If I'd listened to my (somewhat toxic) trust issues with men this would never have happened - but then I would've have had so many moments where I felt truly loved, cared for and desired. I'd have missed out on a level of intimacy that I had ever quite experienced before.
The mutual friend who helped facilitate our 1st date confirms that I wasn't being gamed, that he really liked me and say emphatically that cheating/dating 2 women at once is not his style.
FWIW I've heard from mutual friends that they're back to their same old dysfunctional patterns and has been changing up his antidepressants so that he's become really lethargic and basically lost his libido. I can't say that I don't have a drop of schadenfreude.
HOWEVER - it's also starting to filter back to me through mutual friends that, for instance, he said he could feel a generation gap between us (I'm 10 years older) because we didn't have the same pop culture references and I thought to myself that that was crazy because 1) He didn't seem to have his own music collection and listened mostly to Alexa and the most current thing need listen to is recent Beck. Everything else was broad genres like jam bands or r&b/soul. I played music from a random list I had and he was just LOVING this song that happens to be from the 80s and asked me what it was a couple of times so he could listen to it himself. I was kinda surprised. In general he resented himself as a bit of an old soul 2) One of the mutual friends said that in light of his long relationship with his wife really I was really the "interloper" which really made me hit the ceiling as I was not an "interloper" - he invited me into his life, going through mutual friends to test the waters if I'd be interested, telling me AND his friends that the relationship "had simply run its course" and that he got married as kind of an administrative procedure in order to do the Peace Corps together (they didn't allow couples unless they were married) and that the marriage had been dysfunctional since shortly after the wedding.
Right before he broke up with me we were laying in bed post sex and he said that in the beginning when he and the wife 1st separated he thought he wanted to date casually but now he realizes that he wants, others to be in a long term relationship. I presumed he was talking about us. I felt like we were on the precipice is a deeper relationship and then bam he goes back to the wife - unless maybe that was a warning.
WERE WE EVEN IN THE SAME RELATIONSHIP?
Anyway, it feels like he's now engaging in revisionism in hindsight. That or he lied to me for every minute of that relationship for 6 months, which I feel like takes a LOT or lying/acting skills which I don't/didn't think he was capable of.
If he wants to engage in revisionism I will go a step further and pretend the entire relationship never happened as clearly it was all lies.
Before people tell me to just move on already I've actually dated someone else already and have been actively out meeting guys, but this relationship was more substantial to me and so this burns me up more than, say, the guy I dated after him who ghosted me about 2-3 months and I didn't give a shit because I'd already been struggling with how to end that relationship.

Tengo 21 años, estoy cursando la universidad, dato que últimamente estuve bajo mucho estrés, estos últimos días no.
Bueno, hace un tiempo, probablemente un mes, me han saltado las ganas de masticar plástico, en específico ese plástico nuevo, ese olor a plastico industrial nuevo y limpio característico de los zapatos recién comprados (más en los zapatos escolares blancos o de al por mayor).
Cómo decía , este último mes fue un pensamiento recurrente, las ganas de masticarlo eran constantes pero la universidad me mantuvo ocupada, sin embargo estos últimos días sin nada de exámenes me encontré mordiendo mis propios zapatos en busca de saciar esa necesidad. Y si, funcionó, pero solo por unos segundos, al fin y al cabo no era lo mismo y la textura también es el máximo influenciador, sin embargo es lo más cercano.
He intentado con otros plásticos, como los de los vasos de cafe; los de polietileno, con los palos de chupete,con sandalias, hasta agarre un cable de cargador viejo, pero simplemente no son lo que mi mente quiere. Y es que tampoco tengo un zapato de esos nuevos a la mano jajaja. Así mismo tampoco funciona otros materiales como latex, cartón , madera, hielos , etc. No es para nada eso
Vale recalcar que no estoy embarazada, no son de esos antojos de embarazo, sin embargo pensando en todo esto recuerdo que cuando tenía menos de 8 años, quiza mucho menos solia morder los zapatos mios de la escuelita. Así que hay un antecedente, pero estaba demasiado pequeña y solo lo recordé ahora mientras escribia esto.
Que debería hacer ? A alguien le sucede?

So I Xochitl Luna-Sullivan as you know lost my husband and two seasons ago my girlfriend also died in a house fire, we weren’t going out for long (although I did live with her for like a day and then moved back to my old place ok, decisions are hard) but I feel cursed and empty. So like any single mother with a childish mother in law, I took myself to the bar and drunk all throughout the night up into the afternoon which is when I passed out and pissed myself.
I text Eleanor that I was coming back and she seemed fine when I got back, but when she caught me drinking later she seemed shocked. I screamed at her that me and Karmine don’t need her and that I have to deal with them two all the time, on top of losing my husband, so she should leave.
She didn’t say anything and strolled away but I wasn’t done. Karmine kept trying to tell me about her silly fairy stories like she normally does so I yelled at her to shut up and she told me that she wants a new mum and she hates me when I drink, so I told her to go to her room and that she hurt my feelings. Now my watcher is unsure about such a drastic plot change and Is regretting all her life choices as am I.
Was I in the right to curse them out ?
