I am a 12.9 HC according to 18 birdies. My rounds vary wildly though. On the same course I can shoot an 80 and come back the following week and hit 112.
The deciding factor is always whether or not I’m following 3 of the very first things we learn about golf.
If I am focused on rotating around a center point, keeping my eyes on the ball through the swing and swinging at 70%, I’m gonna play like a single digit golfer. Somehow 5 years after starting I will still go out and play rounds where I am swaying, looking in the general vicinity of but not at the ball and swinging out of my shoes.
How often do you guys have to “go back to the basics”? I feel like this isn’t normal for the average player, no?
