2024.11.29 18:33 Appropriate-Force740 Thinking of leaving, am I being lame?
I’m an American au pairing in Germany, I’ve been here for a month so far and am only scheduled to stay until the end of December so it’s a very short stay. I have an absolutely wonderful HM and am only responsible for two kids and some light housework. I’m not trying to throw in the towel or feel bad for myself, but I cannot seem to get things right. Again, my host mom is incredibly kind and patient and empathetic. I was seriously ill for a week about two weeks ago and she told me to take things easy and I was able to rest and take care of myself. I was sick again yesterday, and her kids have been home sick as well so the house hasn’t been in the best shape. The majority of the time I have been very on top of cleaning up behind myself, making lunches and dinner on time, and getting the kids to and from school on time, even early most days. I do better with an itemized list for daily tasks so that has been a mild point of contention, but she is a very clear communicator which I appreciate. When I got here my HM looked into signing me up for language lessons and a gym membership, but the local center doesn’t offer two month courses and the gym membership fell through. The issue is that I have been really homesick and depressed as there is nothing to fill the days besides housework and doomscrolling. I haven’t been in the best state of mind so I haven’t been super fun and active with the kids, and today was a nightmare. I thought I was turning things around after having a conversation with my HM about my mental health and quality of work, but I completely missed the mark again and feel totally incompetent. I dropped off one kid at school, came home and made breakfast for the kid staying home sick from school, did some laundry and dishes, and then it was time to make lunch and get ready to pick the other kid up and do a Christmas outing. When I got home my HM was extremely upset(rightfully so) because I managed to shrink an entire load of her clothes in the dryer, the eldest hasn’t cleaned her room, and the dishes from lunch were left on the table. These are all reasonable things to be upset about, especially the laundry. But I feel like I am on top of the dishes and everything else and there just wasn’t time to get to things today because of the outing immediately after lunch. I am just feeling really discouraged and I don’t want to inconvenience her any further and I don’t want to just quit, so I’m really confused and frustrated and just feel…dumb. Any advice would be much appreciated, I love brutal honesty/tough love etc. thanks for reading my very long post.
TLDR; I keep fucking up, my HM is very nice but I fear I’m not competent or mentally well enough for this.

2024.11.29 18:33 lemoneyesx Accidentally spent 125 gems on a pony and I'm crashing out now 😭 can someone help me figure out what to fill in the fields of the customer care form
I really want a refund since I REALLY don't want him and it feels horrible to go down to 395 from 520 so I decided to fill out the customer care form bcz iirc you're allowed one refund from your gems right?
So what am I supposed to fill under store, issues and sub-issues section, and whenever I fill in the issues field it asks for manufacturer, model and firmware. I'll be really grateful if someone helps me get my gems back I'm horribly devastated.

I just turned 21 a month ago, you must know as a girl the marriage talk starts after you turn 20, so it's been a topic of discussion in my house. I am an extrovert who loves to talk and stand by my opinions(if they are right), i clap back to criticism and demeaning jokes, and loves joking around when given the situation. Since i don't accept shit from anyone, I've been told that you won't get any proposal like this, you will ruin whoever guy's life you are gonna marry or you should tone it down a bit if you ever wanna marry. People around me think that i should be a lot submissive cause i am an independent girl and do most of my things by myself. My dad died when i was 14, even with an older brother i still learned to rely on myself rather than others.
What do you guys think about a girl like this. Do guys still want an innocent submissive wife who says yes to everything you say, doesn't speak when made fun of and can't speak for her rights. Are we still living by those standards of 90's??

After the update, some css that hides the url bar when it is inactive (supposedly by setting the z-index to be behind the tab bar) has stopped working.
I've tried to tinker with it but its really hard to debug.
