I believe this is clearly an indication that GSC wants to make a game that we want to play. I'm sure that more is on the way, and I'm very impressed with how quickly such an impactful patch was put out. Keep going, guys. This is great.

I (M26) have had a great SWE job for the past two years as a full stack web developer. However, during this time, I haven't done any homework to learn new skills/technologies. I am worried that in the long run, this will hurt me severely. There are a few subjects I would like to learn more about, but after a full day's work, I just don't have the motivation to read a textbook. Does anyone have advice on how to stay motivated to learn more after work? Any insights on how important this actually is? If it's just a matter of discipline, then any advice on maintaining discipline when you're already in a comfortable place? Any anecdotes of similar feelings and what you did about them?

Bit of a vent/warning to UK based Redditors
So I was in a car accident on Tuesday. No fault claim with dash cam footage to show other car came into my lane
However what happened over the next few hours and days has been a horror story.
So I was mentally a bit shaken immediately after the accident, on my drive to work an idiot just hits my car out of nowhere. I call my insurance, file the claim, start preparing the dash cam footage and photos of damage.
My insurer (Hastings) tells me how they will pass my details to other companies, such as Enterprise for the car replacement, some garages for repairs etc.
Somehow, it seems my details have been leaked to fraudulent companies. I got so many calls in the space of 5-6 hours that I went into autopilot, answering questions they asked, giving descriptions of the accident etc. I assumed that because they knew my phone number and name that they had been delegated by Hastings.
Two of these callers asked for my national insurance. Despite being mentally exhausted and overwhelmed with the bombardment of phone calls, this made me suspicious and I asked why they needed my NI number. The guy replied very calmly yeah no worries, it’s just so we can check your claims history to make sure you haven’t made claims with other insurers before. Which typing it now sounds stupid, but at the time, given all the factors such as how he knew my name, he seemed legit.
So that’s how I gave away my NI number to scammers - they somehow knew of my accident and the companies involved within hours, and impersonated them to steal confidential info. No idea how they had my details to begin with.
Then I received a phone call from Enterprise (legitimate enterprise) who informed me of the process to hire a replacement vehicle. Half an hour after this call, I get a message from Enterprise (the name of the sender was ENTERPRISE, no phone number visible). It asks me to upload photos of the car from all angles, the VIN number and then my drivers license. Given I had just been on the phone with Enterprise, and they called me by my name in the text, I assumed that again this was legit. So now I’ve also lost my driving license to fraudsters
Guys if you are ever unlucky enough to be involved with insurance if any kind - NEVER give out your National Insurance, photos of ID and definitely not bank info. This sounds obvious when you are calm, but immediately after an incident you may be more vulnerable mentally given your faith in your insurer - I am normally very careful, but this made me realise just how evil scammers can be.
I hope this post may help even one person avoid sharing their confidential info with scammers. If anybody has advice on what to do given the loss of my NI and drivers license numbers, would be appreciated

So my anniversary date was the 21st of this month and they never refreshed. Talked to my managers and said call the Best Buy HR # which they gave me. The HR lady just said that they DONT refresh and you only accrue hours starting January 2025.. What!?!?

Buenas. Estoy estudiando en FP superior y hay un profesor (tutor de nuestra clase) que está teniendo conductas que no son buenas.
Empezando académicamente es infumable asistir a sus clases debido a que no explica o cuando explica te explica desde el origen del mundo hasta la actualidad dejando solo sin explicar lo que le has preguntado.
Sé que por ahí en delegación me van a decir que me joda, pero hay más eventos.
- había una muchacha joven, llamémosla L. Le estuvo llamando absolutamente todos los recreos durante una semana para decirle que dejara el grado (ella no quería), porque había escogido hacer el curso en dos años para compaginar con su trabajo. Llegó a decirle cosas como "tú no sirves para esto" o "déjale la plaza a alguien que la quiera de verdad". Esta muchacha acabó incluso llorando en una ocasión porque encima, y eso lo sabemos todos, este hombre te trata como si fueras tonto siempre y se ríe en tu cara si le parece a él. Que pasa que la muchacha no podía hacer la modalidad de dos años para un curso porque tendría que sí o sí tener clase con este hombre este año y al final no tuvo más remedio que quitarse.
- A otra alumna le hace comentarios sobre su color de piel. Con cosas como "cuidado no te pongas negra" y más por el estilo.
- A otra alumna también la intentó convencer de manera muy insistente de que se saliera del grado. Porque era su segunda opción.
- A otra alumna más la usó en varias ocasiones como ejemplo de cómo no hay que ser porque le parecía que con una actitud positiva no iba a llegar a nada en la vida.
- A está última alumna y a mí nos dijo (contexto: tengo varias alergias en la piel y tengo que llevar cierto tratamiento y ella tiene piel atópica) que no nos teníamos que llevar al viaje que íbamos a hacer nada de cambios de ropa (también tengo alergia al sudor aunque leve) ni cremas porque igualmente nadie nos iba a mirar.
- a mí en una ocasión me dijo que ya dejaría de peinarme cuando de verdad fuera (para lo que es el grado). También me ha dicho varias veces que mi ropa no sirve para mí grado. Lo hablé con una profesora que es con la que sí hacemos prácticas en las que sí tenemos que cargar y estas cosas y me dijo que yo no había llevado ropa inapropiada.
- A un alumno sobre el viaje que íbamos a hacer le dijo, por tener TDAH, que él no podía ir porque este profesor no viaja ni con menores ni con enfermos mentales.
- A mí, fui subdelegada aunque he dimitido, me obligó a comprar un material y elegirlo, pese a que yo le repetí en varias ocasiones que no lo quería hacer porque no lo iba a hacer bien, me obligó. Me molesté en comprobar con el delegado (que encima es del palo de soltarte en la cara que es superior intelectualmente a ti y a toda la clase de manera tan literalmente que asusta, pero luego de sus funciones nada eh), con el que no me llevo bien, y con otro compañero que estuvieran bien las piezas. Este último me avisó de que igual una era demasiado pequeña, comprobé con el profesor esa y todas las piezas, este dió luz verde y lo compramos. 196€ y dos de las cosas estaban mal. A quién le cayó la responsabilidad? A mí, así que dimití y ahora hay varias personas de mi clase cabreadas conmigo por malgastar su dinero.
- También está el uso constante de bromas subidas de tono, pese a que se le ha dicho por varios alumnos que no les gusta recibirlas.
- Un alumno incluso lo defendió (este muchacho no sabía de la mitad de cosas osea que en el fondo lo entiendo) pero en la defensa confirmaba que existían las burradas que suelta y que no enseña nada.
- A mí, de nuevo, me responde con falacias ad hominem cada vez que le transmito una queja o mía o de otro compañero.
- los alumnos en general coincidimos en que nos trata de manera prepotente, incluso riéndose de lo malo que te ocurre.
Ese día dimití y tuve que poner mis motivos a la hora de hacerlo. En jefatura fliparon incluso el director estuvo ahí. Bueno la cuestión es que salí y mi amigo el delegado fue a hablar con este profesor de que había dimitido (procede a quejarse de que va a tener que cumplir sus funciones y no a cargarme todo a mí). El profesor me sacó a preguntarme qué había pasado y yo, suponiendo que le habrían dicho algo de jefatura (que no), me puse a exponer los motivos en el mismo orden que en jefatura. En cuanto se dió cuenta de que había hablado con jefatura se le cambió la cara y me gritó. Yo, persona con voz bastante fuerte, me había molestado en mantener un tono lo más agradable posible porque sabía la que se me venía encima. Le dije que sin alguien de jefatura delante no quería hablar con él (porque se estaba poniendo bastante agresivo en el tono y el lenguaje corporal y la verdad me empezó a dar cosa), me intenté ir a clase de nuevo y me dijo que seguía sin entender por qué había yo dimitido. Me puse a recordarle la situación de la compra que fue la gota que colmó el vaso para mí y, en cuanto mencionó que él dió luz verde a comprar los componentes que no eran, se enfada, de nuevo me grita y de nuevo le digo que yo solo iba a seguir hablando del tema si era con jefatura delante. Intento entrar al aula me adelanta y justo antes de entrar me dice, literalmente, "A partir de ahora yo soy Señor Profesor y tú una alumna más".
Entramos a clase y al minuto o así pido ir al baño. Yo estaba algo acojonada, pero es que es salir y me dicen unos niñillos de la eso que si yo estaba bien. Me dió mucha cosa también que ellos tuvieran que ver lo que había pasado pq estaban justo en el sitio, así que les digo que todo estaba bien y me voy al baño a relajarme. Al llegar a casa recibí incluso un mensaje de un compañero que en principio no creía que fuera para tanto la situación como para que yo dimitiera, pero que después de escuchar los gritos y enterarse de lo que había pasado me recomendó llevarlo a la delegación de educación. Yo no sé si tengo alguna ley o algo a lo que agarrarme, pero sí que está todo el alumnado de nuestro ciclo ya en tensión, el profesorado también y yo estaría dispuesta a ser portavoz de las experiencias de mis compañeros para apoyar las mías y lo que hiciera falta. Eso sí si no hay por dónde agarrarme no lo voy a hacer.
