So I told my mom that I wanted to cut out sugar completely, along with other excessively fatty foods in order to shape up and encouraged her to do the same, which she said would be our mutual goal. In the beginning it was just me doing it, not touching any of the cookies/biscuits in the drawers, then she too joined in.
However, her behaviour began to get noticeably hostile, irritable and non verbal with me. Then this starts happening. She was making me a wrap one day and I asked her to put only a little mayo in it, because of health and I don’t even like a lot in it anyway and it ended up having so much in it that I had to spoon some out and I saw her watching me eat it as she walked in. When I confronted her about it, she said “no no I purposely tried to put less like you asked,” the lie blatant on her face. In my head I was like “ok weird” but I didn’t care and moved on from that.
She plated me a meal and when I asked her not to put that spoonful, she forcefully put it saying “it will get eaten.” She then offered to put clarified butter in my food to make it taste better. At this point I’m not suspicious, it doesn’t even cross my mind.
We already had enough sweet treats at home which no one was eating anyway so I wasn’t expecting her to buy them. I thought wrong. She went and bought even more cookies and two muffins, one for me, one for her, saying I should at least eat the muffin because one muffin cost her so and so (not a lot at all). I didn’t eat the muffin lol and neither did she eat hers and she is telling me where they are and checking to see if they’ve been eaten. I asked her if she had eaten hers and she just goes quiet and says no, wondering if I’m catching on. Plus she buys a pack of chicken fillets and tells me to eat it for dinner. By this point, I am getting suspicious, so I check the food label and it’s high in all areas of calories, she deliberately picked that one up.
Although my mother provided me with everything materially, she has not been a good mother to me at all growing up; has done a lot of bad actually, but one thing I never expected her to be was a crazy, jealous and hindering person. Many times I was like “am I going crazy?” “No I should not think this way about my mother, she just wants good things for me,” but it’s evident atp. She always told me she wanted the best for me and I believed it, but her recent actions make me think differently.

 | Hello I’m trying to solve the engine power reduced issue an a 2012 GMC Acadia. I don’t know a lot about cars, just enough to get by. I believe the issue may be related to the air intake, throttle body, or MAF. I removed the throttle body and air intake for cleaning and saw this. High likely is this to be the culprit? Let's just say it's a personal preference, but every console player I met does not build rallies and in general is very bad at the game, I did an experiment yesterday and out of the 50 games I played, team with less console players win 100%
Anyway, maybe it's just me but are there a way to turn off cross platform plays? I know other games like dead by daylight have that option at the expensive of longer que time, I'm fine with longer que as long as I get some decent players in the team, by decent I mean more than 1 rally point a game
Honestly they should also give a exp and silver penalty to players who did not build a single rally point in the entire game

 | My girlfriend and I take her son to Home Depot every first Saturday and Lowes every second to work on free building projects. We’ve found that it’s a struggle to get a hammer or screwdriver most of the time. As much as patience and learning to share are both fantastic virtues, I wanted to give him something special that he can build upon over time and take care of. Harbor Freight’s mini tool boxes came at just the perfect time. I’ll make sure he learns to share his tools, but, if one doesn’t get returned, it’ll be no more than $5 to replace it.  | So I’m trying to understand Endurance buffs from fortifying armor or chems and how it increases your health but when I do the math it’s not adding up. I’m using this formula… 80 + (Current Endurance * 5) + (Level - 1) * (Permanent Endurance * .5 + 2.5) First off, my current Endurance is only a 1 at level 65 and I have a permanent -10 health due to Mole Rat disease from Vault 88. When I use the formula, I calculate my base health correctly which is 267. However, when I equip the Black Ops Chestpiece which gives a temp +1 to Endurance my health doesn’t change when it should atleast give +5 to my health based on the formula above. Now when I take Buffout, which gives a +2 to Endurance and +50 health, my health becomes 391. This is without the Black Ops Chestpiece equipped so my Endurance is a temporary 3. Using the same formula, my health should be 337 but it’s not. However, if I plug in 3 to both the Current and Permanent Endurance positions then the math adds up. 80 + (3 * 5) + (65 - 1) * (3 * .5 + 2.5) + 50 - 10 = 391 Help me if I’m missing something but as far as I can tell, the formula is wrong and the game doesn’t account for Endurance buffs from armor effects. submitted by thebranbran to fo4 [link] [comments] |

This week i finished the series and what best way to end it other than the movies, and oh my god.
No.1 I'm middle eastern, so this movie was just racist, ignorant and unbelievable. I would rant days and days about how awful it its.
Funny enough, this movie also has stereotypical Americans written all over it.
Miranda just butchers up Arabic all day, but tweaking when someone tells her the right pronunciation of a word or when the butler mispronounces her name. And also the wrong translation of yes, what does akhmi mean?💀
The eating French fries behind the veil stuff and them making it a whole plot??? What the fuck was that? And oh men just want us to eat french fries under our veils, or oh you're obssesing about something happening 6700 miles but not looking at the veil-french fry situation?
Samantha, why did they have to butcher her up that way? Insufferable is just the word to describe her, she couldn't just keep her hands of a man's pants for a week? Also how she got arrested? I live in a pretty touristic country and most of the time when we see tourists do anything besides sex we just let them be, we don't go angry telling waiters to get them arrested, as far as I've encountered and known, and also the tourists do thier research, not go wildly feeling up men in the middle of restaurants.
The whole movie was just offensive and is typical western media perception about the middle east and women. Just disgusting.

I made a post a few days ago about my crush accepting to go on a date with me. We see each other every day at uni but it was the first time we saw each other outside of it. It went very well but I didn't know if my crush really saw what had happened as a date so I asked him on text once he had dropped me home. He said he always wanted this to be a date and since then things have really escalated haha.
The next day I asked him to play Mario Kart together at his place the next evening and he accepted. He drove me from uni to his place, we shopped and cooked together, watched videos, played games and after a few hours we opened up about our feelings. We told each other all about how our crush for the other came to be, showed each other the messages of excitement and questioning we had sent to our friends and cuddled together. It was so interesting to see "the other side" of the discussions with him and how he was as anxious as I had been! I asked him if we were official after all this and he said of course.
I slept at his place because it was late and we had class at the same time the next day. Then today we shared our first real hug, small touches of the fingers and hands discreetly in class and finally he kissed me after dropping me to my place. It was very short and simple but I loved how he asked permission and how it happened naturally.
Were in our early 20s but it's our first relationship for both of us so we are really amazed by all of this. I still can't believe it's happening to me!! We also planned for me to meet his group of friends and it's nice to create new connections :)
