Farmers markets are so vastly different here from where I grew up. In my hometown they weren’t places you go to hang out, they were just places you go to buy food. And it was so cheap, like less than half the cost of a grocery store.
Here farmers markets seem to only have artisanal products and everything is so expensive. And they’re so incredibly white. Back home they were so much more racially diverse.

2024.11.29 18:30 cherinuka What's a good whiskey for someone who has found whiskey intolerably strong in the past
I want to give whiskey a chance, and I also don't want to feel like a complete amateur when people ask for a recommendation at work.
I've tried a few brands in the past but don't remember the names, one was famous grouse, which made me run to the nearest toilet to puke(sorry if tmi).
When I read the tasting notes, like creme brulee, caramel, almond, whatever, they sound great, but all I taste is gasoline and instantly cringe when I try to drink it.
I'm usually a rum enjoyer if I'm doing hard liquor, which isn't often, and I drown it in sweet.
Maybe whiskey just isn't for me? I'd like to give it another go.

Football season always takes forever to get here and then is seemingly over in the blink of an eye.
This season had high hopes and as I look around, I don't see a single team that I feel would have been definitively better than us with a healthy Cam Rising at the helm. In fact, I'd argue that Cam Rising's presence alone flips this team from 4-7 to 10-1 or 11-0 right now. His knowledge, experience, charisma etc means that much.
And yet, criticizing the staff is more than fair because we shouldn't have banked on him being healthy all year. We should have had someone waiting in the wings, or at least tailored the offense to the backups strengths.
A lot of guys have fought hard through it all. Even in defeat, its fun to watch them compete.
Ill be watching tonight for what is unfortunately the last game of the year. I wish these seniors the best. The offseason is going to have a lot of lows but I hope it has enough highs to make us feel good going into next year.

Got my GT DD PRO today, it's amazing, brings the game to another level. Been playing with controller and a G29.
My lap times are not as good as I am getting adjusted to the wheel and the load cell brake.
Been finding it strange that in group 1 cars the wheel is heavy and in a formula car it's so much smoother. Any idea why this happens?
I have tried multiple settings, the fanatec recommended suits me very well. Oh and it's beyond me how anyone can play with more than 8 Nm of force.

I was recently required to get a new laptop. I chose an ASUS Vivobook S 15, and it has been working fine thus far for the two or three weeks that I've had it. However, all games through the Xbox application on it are not supported (as well as Epic Games ones) because of the Snapdragon X Elite installed. What about Hearts of Iron IV?
