Yes i know I am the problem as i have a history of abusive dead beat men. (Ofc there was great aspects of them or relationship but overall lol)
Ive prayed and worked and waited for a good man. Not obsessivly but i stay open to it , and i never act as if there is "no good men out there" bc i know there is.
I was dating around not really in a place to commit atm (inbetween jobs going back to school kids) but i met a really good man. Hes stable so kind he lisitens hes respectful stable financially has goals we have similar lifestyles and want similar things. I dont find him all that attractive but honestly when i like someone that takes over far more and then i find them very attractive.
Even though he checks EVERY BOX there has been 00000 red flags honestly and im pro at this point in finding them , i still wonder is he the one... i know it takes time to develop but i dont want to keep dating to find someone if hes right here. Really i just need reassurance , i feel like theres not alot of men like him but then again maybe ive only searched for A holes. I feel like still this is not common. He cooks , cleans, wants a family, provides for me .... like why in my head do I not clearly see this is the man id want to be with forever . Like why would i ever even think twice about a man like this. I recognize its a me problem , is there anyone who has been in this situation and can just shed some light as to why I can just feel safe in his safety . I want some perspectives please not hate

I'm 19M. I had 2 relationship (1 was just dating but she was in "love" with me)
I was dumb, naive and manipulative. In the first relationship, I learnt what is the meaning of "pink clouds". I had to pay for literally everything, I had to make plans, she abused me, she cried if I didn't bought that thing, cheated on me 3 times and stabbed in the back (she lied about me) when she could. Never again Second relationship, everything goes well, we talked, laughing so much then I spitted my drink, we hold our hands like lovers. Except that she asked weird questions (about my size or she asked I wanna do it) even she grabbed my thing. But then, her other side came up. She told me I'm like the other boys, nothing different from them. Then, she commited a thing that really hurted me: posted a music video in ig (she posted that video for the close friends, 4 boys) and in that she was singing a love song, and when the song ended she gaped her ex's name with a big smile. I talked with her, I went to her with bus (!50 KM!) and asked her what's going on. She defended herself that this was nothing, I asked "Do you put me with other boys to race who's gonna love you better?" I asked this many times, the answers were: no, I swear not (she was in tears during this) so I told her "okay, I go home" but she doesn't wanted to leave me, so she walked with me to the bus stop (I told her 5 times to not follow me😀), she was in tears, talked to me like: this is the last time we see each other and stuff like these. It was all a big drama. What do you think? I made a good decision? When this will be over, I mean why I find girls who's are mentally instable? Why I deserved all of this?
